The prices are normal, the food is delicious, the service is fast, there is a lot to choose from, awesome views right on the beach, very tasty barbecue and pizza, I recommend it!!!!

They bring one first - they give it to me, super, I eat. Then the waitress brings a common plate - she says - there are two, visually yes, two. Well ok. Well, we are waiting for the fourth one - he comes running, "oh, but there are three on yours, and they put a little more on the first one." Is it okay? Which three, there are clearly two, and the last time there were two on the common plate looked the same. And what does it mean that they laid it out like that? We warned you IN ADVANCE, bring it to everyone!!! Then it's also fun - they brought khinkali, not quite hot anymore, when they were eaten, they bring sour cream to THEM. Is it okay? Of course, we refused to pay for sour cream, as well as the illusory fourth portion of shish kebab. And before leaving, the administrator also jumped in with a threat - you are eating with us for the last time. Of course! We don't set foot on you anymore. We are a huge company, solvent, which leaves decent amounts - we are welcome everywhere

We have been vacationing in this place for 2 years in a row. We were at the Abbot's hotel last year. This year the Sycamore House. The sea is clear. The beach is free.
I'll give you a star, just for the view!And the second one for baking!
The view is really gorgeous! The baking is super! The dough, the filling, well, don't find fault! BUT, of course, IT cannot be called a restaurant! Ordered:
1. Pork steak in creamy mushroom sauce, I think many will understand, we cut off a piece of pork neck, fry it in a frying pan and make a sauce from cream and mushrooms. Friends! Please explain how you can spoil this dish? And where does this meat come from with almost 500 grams? So, this steak was not chewed, from the word at all!
2. Pork ribs, just super, they were brought at the very end and it was something! Apparently, they were in deep freeze and the boy at the barbecue was defrosting them in the microwave! I didn't calculate the time, well, everyone knows what happens to meat when it is defrosted in the microwave. Yes, it's boiled, so these boiled ribs, he started roasting on the grill!
3. Julienne of seafood became the last straw in the sea, I will not write much about it, they did not include it in the bill, and the owner of the institution, to whom we offered to try these dishes, shouted to someone to fine the cook.
It was tastier for all the children, French fries were normal, but the nuggets were still warmed up🤪
4. Chacha! If someone knows the process of moonshine brewing, they will understand me, what was brought to us under the guise of Chacha, these are called Tails, what normal people pour out, a liquid with a strong smell of braga, when my brother asked where the chacha came from, they proudly said that they say they do it here, but on a harmless joke, whether everyone is still alive from it, two Abkhazian pensioners (the owners of this institution) flew up and began to sort things out, well, okay!

Three-course meals: khinkali is cold and tasteless, rice with vegetables is the usual frozen mixture from a bag. It's also cold, by the way. But the song itself is a barbecue. A body kit in the most brazen way. Instead of serving in portions, for some reason they are put in one plate and all this lies on a tiny piece of pita bread. Three servings🤣 If you count, then there are 3 for each serving !!! a piece of meat. Laughter and sin! And this, in their opinion, is 200 grams. It is a shame that there are such establishments in Gagra. I strongly do not recommend it.
Great view, waited out the storm, polite staff, delicious food. For trout, two salads, wine, 100 grams of cognac, coffee and beautiful views of 2000 tr. It took a little while to cook the fish, but there was something to do, cognac and salads were brought quickly. We definitely recommend it!
Apart from the good view, there is nothing else to note. Keep a close eye on the orders. They can be hung. Chacha is also so-so. You can only drink with a drink. But almost all establishments are guilty of such a sin. On the square you can buy 0.5 chacha for 400 rubles and it will be a wonderful drink that smells of grapes and tastes good.
The view and the friendly receptionist are undoubtedly a plus. There was no waitress, the barbecue was very greasy, the grilled vegetables were burned to coals. How can you serve such a thing?! It's not the first time we've visited, but this one is out of the ordinary.

I had to visit this cafe, as we lived in the Old Gagra hotel. I do not recommend it. The dishes were cooked for a long time, even a simple fried egg. A bread tortilla was served- it was raw inside. Meat in Abkhazian is eaten and tastier. The staff is not trained. The young man, without writing anything down, then confused the order, reported it only after a reminder. A hot frying pan with mutton -there was no smell of mutton, although they claimed that it was lamb.
Everything was cool and delicious, having lunch next to the raging sea, pumped up the grill, to be honest, I didn't like it. Everything else is just great!

4. The portions, by the way, are small, which is strange for such places.
In general, at an average price in Gagra, the quality is VERY low.
We will not go here anymore and we do not recommend it to anyone.
We ordered fish on coals, waited for 40 minutes, the fish was paid by weight, and there was not only fish in the foil, but also some kind of sauce, perhaps pomegranate juice, and we also paid for it at the price of trout, and the fish was half-cooked, and we also poisoned ourselves after this lunch.
The service is disgusting. We waited for the order for more than an hour. But the last straw was when the stolichny salad turned out to be with sausage🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. There are always no waiters, you don't know how to take the bill. It is unclear why they charge 10% for the service from above. Don't set foot there anymore!!!!
