We visited the cafe "Old Baku" and were absolutely delighted! There is amazing home cooking here, especially the dolma "Three Sisters" and the delicious lula kebab. Be sure to try their homemade pomegranate wine - delicate, fragrant, with a slight sourness, it perfectly complements the dishes.
A special pleasure is communicating with a local cat, who was happy to keep us company at the table. It was so nice and cozy that the experience was comparable to visiting a kotokafe, only even warmer and more sincere.
The cafe left the most pleasant emotions - delicious, cozy, hospitable.
We recommend it to everyone!
Our guide advised us to come here to taste the pomegranate wine. At first, we were a little tense - the decor of the place is very modest, but when we tasted the wine... This is the best pomegranate wine in Baku! Fragrant, but almost without a crust. Sourness and sweetness sing in unison, the aftertaste is as long as a Baku night! And you can also buy it in bottling)))
The next day, we returned for lunch... Guys, take dolma three sisters, it's divine! Everything else is also very tasty.
The owner Sahib is planning to renovate and design, so it will also be beautiful soon.
Ask the Sahib about his home and family, he will be happy to tell you family stories that will be the best condiments for food!
We visited this cafe with our family on 04/08/2025 . Excellent location on a quiet street in the Old Town. The hospitable host recommended dishes from the menu, excellent homemade pomegranate wine, and an incomparable compote. Budget price tag. I recommend it to everyone!!!
For a family friendly, simple, authentic mood, come here!
Don't expect beautiful tablecloths and restaurant food from this place!
Everything here is simple, but sincere and very tasty!
Excellent pomegranate wine, excellent cognac, delicious kutabs at average prices!
The owner and his cats are a separate atmospheric splendor! :)
An excellent family restaurant, prices are significantly lower than in the whole city, and the quality of food is not inferior. The interior is simple, and there aren't a lot of dishes on the menu, but it pays off with the beauty of the place it's in.
A proper home-based, family-friendly cafe. Wonderful qutabs, excellent homemade pomegranate wine and good cognac at a good price. The owner and the cats are beautiful😁
If you want to spend a sincere, delicious, inexpensive and homely time. It doesn't matter what it is; a birthday, a family holiday, the birth of a child, a wedding, or just a romantic, then you are here, to this institution!!! I don't know a better place than Old Baku yet!!! It's so nice to come back here again and again. Always insanely delicious, always polite, always at home!!! And tomatoes, it's just a fairy tale!!! Tortillas (I forgot what they are called again) especially with coriander, it's just divine!!!
You will never see a person with disappointment on his face here.
And I want to thank the person who organized this place in our small town!!
Come here!!!! You will never regret it!!!
If you do not need beauty, but you need to eat well and tasty and not expensive, then you are here. Plus, the host is very hospitable and the cafe will appeal to cat lovers, they are right next door.
Delicious at home. The owner is a warm-hearted man, the prices are reasonable, the owner's cats are the best in the city, and there are a lot of lovely cats in the city))
We might not have found out about this small and soulful restaurant if it hadn't been for Roman, the guide, who took us through the old streets. The decor, like the kitchen, is simple and homely. The host is hospitable. Very affordable prices. Delicious kufta, dolma, dyushbara. My husband finally tried hash. Be sure to come in!
A family cafe with its own history is located in an atmospheric place of Old Baku. Homemade national cuisine at good prices, everything is simple and sincere. Excellent beer, there was no such thing in other cafes and restaurants. We met the hosts, who are very attentive to visitors and speak excellent Russian. We will definitely come to this cafe if we are lucky enough to visit Baku!
The owners of the establishment do not respect, and deceive their guests. We went on the recommendation of an Azerbaijani. Hot - heated in the microwave until the tongue burns, salad - iced from the refrigerator. Although the menu is a hot grilled salad, we were ready to forgive a very simple tired interior for a delicious dinner. The dinner was terrible, the portions were small, the prices were restaurant prices. If you respect yourself, do not go to this institution, they just profit from tourists here, do a good deed, let the owner close so as not to deceive anyone else.
A small family cafe, lost in the maze of streets of the Old Town. A simple setting, very tasty food, which was brought almost instantly. Excellent dolma, lula kebab, pickles. Prices are lower than the average in Icherisehir. I heartily recommend this place!
An interesting place in the old town. A small atmospheric family cafe. The setting is simple but inviting. The hospitable hosts are two brothers Sahib and Kamran. National cuisine. The food is very tasty. The prices are reasonable. I recommend. You will feel the national flavor.
A small home-made restaurant in the old town. Excellent dyushbara, good kutabs, its own pomegranate wine and compote. The affectionate Murka cat wanders and caresses.
The dishes are big and delicious, the interior is interesting, the waiters are fast. Of the minuses, the kebab on the bone is a little dry, overcooked.
We ordered - Bozbash, shish kebab 200 gr, a glass of wine, a kettle of tea, two vegetable salads by check 4900 rub
A wonderful place, very tasty food.
And also beautiful cats)
A beautiful room, the waiting time for our order for 8 people was 20-25 minutes.
I advise you!
The staff is also very excellent!
A very good restaurant with reasonable prices. We were there 3 times a week. Everything we tried was very pleasant, the service was wonderful. I recommend it!
A cool place, you can see the filming location of several Soviet films, excellent restaurants- we went to 3, the menu is not repeated, the food is wonderful everywhere.
I don't understand the excitement of this cafe. The food is for three, there is no interior at all, the prices are not budget, it's like you're in the dining room. I don't recommend it at all
A wonderful place with a local flavor - the old town! Must-visit) you need to see both new Baku and these ancient streets!

A great restaurant. We came on the recommendation of the guide. I didn't cheat. Very tasty. And what kutabs, mmmmm. Also try the pomegranate wine. I recommend. Sincerely, Sergey Silantyev.
Cafe on the 1st floor, in the apartment.
The interior is simple, wallpaper and stripped painted floor.
The food is like in the dining room.
Overcooked kufta bozbash and cabbage rolls.
Micro kebab made of three pieces of lamb meat with kotsi and fat. The same is a chicken kebab. The price is overestimated by two times.
Of the advantages - there is wifi.
I don't recommend it.
A diner, but the prices are like in decent places. I don't recommend it even once. The hosts are friendly and these are all advantages. They regretted that they did not leave.
