The location is good. The hotel is located close to most tourist attractions on a fairly quiet street. The train station is about 1 km away and it doesn't feel like it at all. Metro line 1 is a 5-minute walk away, 3.4 lines are a 15-minute walk away. An excellent supermarket with fresh food is within walking distance: fruits, rolls, sandwiches and more, a 5-minute walk from Starbucks, Luckin.
There won't be any outstanding views of the business center or Nanjing Road around, but the price is appropriate.
The room is spacious, there is everything you need: a washing machine, a microwave, a full-fledged refrigerator, air conditioners, a safe, European sockets. But it's frankly shabby and old, just like the hotel itself. The cleaning was done every day, but it was very mediocre. The bathroom was poorly cleaned. The hotel was mostly inhabited by Europeans. We lived on the upper floors and it was quiet. The windows are large and cold, and the room is very cool at temperatures below 10 degrees.
The staff communicated in English. We checked in earlier than 15:00 without any persuasion or extra charges. The breakfasts were three-star, we went 1 time out of 5. There is a choice, but it was more delicious for us to buy fresh food at the supermarket and the nearest bakeries.
Quite a decent hotel for your money.
1. Number. Spacious. There is a large bed, a sofa with a coffee table, a work desk, a wide window sill with pillows. One of the important things for me is that you can open the window and adjust the temperature of the air conditioner.
There is a kitchen, a kettle, a fridge, a washing machine - we weren't going to, but in the end we used it. A cool dressing room (it has an iron and ironing board). If you need dishes, just ask at the reception.
Of the minor disadvantages, there is only soap and some kind of cream from cosmetics, but we have everything our own.
And not super clean. And there was a view of the neighboring house, where homeless people were swearing under the windows. But it's not critical for me.
Also, all the sockets are not at the bed, but at the desktop.
2. Staff. They don't speak English well, but they are friendly and try to help. I wrote the request in the translator and showed it on the screen - everything was solved immediately.
They clean every day - make the bed, change towels, report slippers, water and tea.
3. Food. It's quite passable - various vegetables, both fresh and stewed, dumplings, eggs, pastries, yoghurts, fruits. Breakfast plus.
We came to this restaurant for dinner - I do not recommend it. The choice is small, it takes a very long time to cook. Although everything was fresh and tasted fine. It is open until 21.00
4. Location. We had to travel to different parts of the city, so it's very convenient, almost in the center. There is a large supermarket nearby in the shopping center (they only accept cash or alipay), opposite there are several shops, 1 round-the-clock.
My overall impressions are positive. Nice inexpensive hotel, comfortable room, everything was fine.
It's a good hotel, and North Zhongshan Road Metro Station is just 100 meters away. The rooms are spacious with a kitchen, washing machine. The breakfast is very decent (European). The staff is friendly, sociable and always happy to help with questions.
The price-quality ratio is 5 out of 5.
I recommend.
