It's clean and cool, but the train leaves earlier, for some reason not according to schedule.
Convenient location, the trains are new and cool. The conductors are polite.
In general, everything is great
Positive:
- trains run exactly on schedule;
- the station is in good technical condition;
- there is a ticket counter, benches, bins, a canopy from the sun and precipitation;
Cons:
- there is no room with air conditioning;
- there are no vending machines for food and drinks;
- it's inconvenient to get there on foot
The station is very comfortable and recently renovated — there are enough benches for everyone. The express train to Chinorkent departs at 12:30 — for only 20,000 soums!
Salar station accepts freight and commuter trains, it is convenient here, we do not wait long for the train, you can purchase tickets both at the ticket office and on the train.
Excellent station, they keep it clean! At the moment, the station has been enlarged by building a new platform, everything is pretty decent, well done!
A station for all times. Back in our Soviet childhood, we went to the mountains from here with the class.
And now, having grown up, we all gather here and go to the mountains, only with other companies. But the old trains with wooden seats were better and more romantic.
A very convenient and accessible station! Nearby is the Small Ring Road and the Pushkinskaya metro station. On weekends, a high-speed train will take passengers to Khojikent station without intermediate stops (except Chirchik station).
Nostalgia. Clean, well maintained, but the roof is completely leaky and there are not enough benches (the train was an hour late in the morning, we were sitting right on the platform)
Who needs a budget and safe way to get to Gazalkent to charvak and from there on to other mountain villages, I advise. For 6 thousand you will be taken 50 kilometers from Tashkent. In mountainous areas, there are 4 different walking times per day from Tashkent. There are schedules from Gori too 4 times to Tashkent
A convenient station for traveling to Khojakent, Chimgan, Amirsoy, Charvak, Chirchik.
The station is located next to the Pushkinskaya metro station. This is the Chilonzor line.
Trains sometimes arrive a little earlier or a little later, but I think it's not critical, the main thing is to arrive half an hour before the trip itself :)
We would like to make more benches and covered places for people in hot and cold weather, the ATO is open, waiting for the train is very cold, at least a modest room for 10-20 people would be very good
At the moment (2019), it is possible to leave Salar station only to Khojikent by commuter train (the schedule is available at the link https://tashtrans.uz/shema-napravleniy-i-raspisanie-prigorodnih-elektropoezdov-tashkenta /). And to the South Station. 4 trains in each direction per day. To Aranchi station (Azadbash) inclusive, the 1st tariff zone when departing from Salar station, the fare is
2021: 1500 sum one zone +1500 sum commission fee 2019:1500+500=2000 sum (commission fee 500 sum). To the other stops, starting from the island of Pargos (Tavaksai village) to the last stop of the Khojikent station line 2nd tariff zone, the fare is 1500+1500+500 =3500 sum. In summer, from May 18 to August 24 (in 2019), an express train to Khojikent with a stop in Chirchik is additionally launched in the morning. And back from Khojikent in the evening by train. The fare on it was 6500 and 8000 soums, respectively. Pushkinskaya Metro station and bus stops are nearby. The ticket office is on the platform.
The station of my childhood. I see its improvement. It is clean both in the passages and on the platform. I thank the municipal services and the people who are improving the station. Let the trains always run ❤
If you are going to the mountains, get off from this station, first of all, it is convenient to get half an hour's sleep, and it depends on your place of residence!
