There are 29 in the train station (if not more!) platforms, and the platform number can be announced 5 minutes before departure. Fortunately, Italians are not very punctual.You have to be an orienteering genius, because the station staff are hiding and you will have no one to ask. In my understanding, if the train departs at 12.30, it means that it left at 12.29. This is not the case here, the departure may be delayed, and you will still have time to run a kilometer or two to your platform, if you are light. 50/50
It was in April 2023. In the Eternal City, something is changing - favorite shops have closed in Termini, apparently covid has influenced. The canteen was closed on a budget, but new stylish cafes appeared. Well, and still wonderful coffee and goodies at Rinaldini!
Convenient, clean, understandable. You can get to the platform through the terminal, but the announcement of the platform where your train will be served may be 10 minutes before departure. So get ready to go for a run) The whole of Italy is on the train schedule👍
