A huge station. There are also local trains and a high-speed shinkansen, we came here from Osaka and left for Tokyo from here too. There are many shops, from luxury to simple, restaurants and cafes. Without higher education, you can't figure it out there. But a very friendly information bureau for tourists, they will draw on a piece of paper and point with their finger, smile and collect more statistics.

A very good and convenient station. A huge selection of all kinds of shops, unique souvenirs and restaurants. I regretted that I did not buy everything I needed there, hoping that I would still find such a thing in another place and in other cities. I didn't find it. On the upper floors there is a beautiful view of the Kyoto Tower. And there is a restaurant at the station with sushi arriving on plates. For those who like to walk light, there is a sufficient number of storage rooms.

A huge train station where there is everything! Observation deck, food hall with a huge selection of noodles. A beautiful, modern building in Kyoto, of which there are not many in it!
