Gudauta station has been restored and it is wonderful, it is a huge effort to restore such architecture in detail and preserve the heritage.
I note that in Gudauta I noticed a particularly careful attitude to the preservation of the historical appearance of the city, I like it, while new modern facilities appear, but they do not destroy the old ones, but they demolish historical buildings. The city itself is clean and calm, with a beautiful coastline. My favorite beach in Abkhazia
Since I visit Abkhazia twice a year in the off-season, real life is happening before my eyes and I can see changes in time and they are for the better
To compare photos of how it was before the restoration and
Oh, Abkhazia!!! Beautiful nature, clear sea, many interesting places!!! These are the advantages! Cons- the local population (not all, but very many) behaves as if Russians owe them something for the rest of their lives (although it seems to be the opposite)! There is a lot of rudeness, there is a separate song about drivers on the road!!! It feels like a lot of people came from the Stone Age!!! For more than 30 years, it would be possible to rebuild the country without war! And so they try to knock off money for nothing for almost everything! (((
The train station in Gudauta is very nice..cozy..and everything is clean..I am very pleased with my wife and I were on Victory Day from September 29 to September 30.People closed tables in courtyards about nine floors and sang and celebrated.!That's great..
