It is very convenient to board the Sukhum - Moscow train here: the train takes a long time, there is no fuss and no crowd.
There are two duty-free shops. There's an air conditioner and expensive fancy things on a bank card.
There is a toilet outside.
A few steps away is a shop where you can pay with a card, which is rare in Abkhazia.
It's atmospheric inside the station: slightly devastated, but no more than in the whole country.

Not a bad station for Abkhazia. There is a waiting room with a sofa and wooden benches. There are several duty free shops, they seem to be open from 2 o'clock. The customs is friendly. There is an attendant at the station (who could not be found). But customs is always on site and answers all questions about trains too. There are cafes and shops near the station.

You have to get off at this station to get to the Sunny Summer boarding house. It is very close to the border, Abkhazia. Stalin's favorite dacha is nearby. It is open to tourists. It is very interesting and informative. Nature conquers with beauty! I remember it with pleasure!

The station building is in order from the outside, it looks good. There are literally a couple of benches and a police post inside, you can't buy tickets anywhere, because there is no one; it has fallen into medieval disrepair over the decades. The first time we looked in out of curiosity and were amazed at the condition, the second time we waited out the rain, with local wildlife. The surrounding area is in order, with greenery, two Duty Free salons on the left and right. Passing trains stand here for 30-40 minutes while customs officers carry out control.

One of the few renovated railway stations in Abkhazia. Clean, spacious. There are three duty-free shops on the territory for those leaving. (But, not in bulk, they will also give the goods to ordinary tourists - tested on themselves)))

Magnificent architecture, but nothing has apparently been repaired since the Soviet era. The station building itself and the platform leave much to be desired, but this Abkhazian atmosphere of calm and unhurriedness covers all the negativity, and, by the way, there is duty free.

The railway station building looks very neat, but the Soviet Union is recognized in everything. It was partially restored and renovated, but the station itself functions as an ordinary railway station.Of course, there is nature around, evergreen trees and shrubs, mountains, beauty, as well as along the entire Black Sea coast. There are taxi drivers behind the railway station, there is a cafe, even fast food. There is also a market nearby, it is beautiful around, quiet, and cozy in Abkhazian..

There is no waiting room and ticket offices at the station. I bought the ticket in the carriage of the Swallow. And if the absence of a cash register did not affect the assessment, then for the absence of a waiting room – minus two rubles. Perhaps the waiting room exists and it is opened in winter or during heavy rain.
I didn't see a toilet at the station. That's another minus two⭐.
When I got out of the car, a pack of dogs rushed to me. "Don't be afraid, they don't bite" is not an argument, but a minus three more ⭐.
Platforms... The legs can be saved with some care, but the wheels of the suitcase can be damaged. Minus one star...

But not everything is so sad.
Plants do not create a special comfort, but the invigorating coolness in a compartment with benches is a plus two.
However, there are few shops. But there weren't many passengers either: just me.

There is a beautifully decorated station with columns outside, the doors are open, but there are no ticket offices and it has not been repaired. Trains arrive at the station , there are several shops to wait for the train. And, of course, Duty free is nearby

Quiet resort suburb, railway staff. they were quite polite, asked about the timetable and whether it was possible to get to Gagra, explained in detail that the station was passable for long-distance trains and boarding agreed with the ticket! The building itself is interesting in architecture with arches, there is a little lack of landscaping, time-worn walls, few garbage cans, during the holidays we passed by the beach every day, nature and views in those places are very beautiful!!!
