For some reason, I remember this train station as something foreign in a city densely built up with skyscrapers. It looks like a fairy-tale cake that stands in the middle of interchanges, huge pedestrian crossings, highways, and a dense bundle of railways.
It resembles Moscow railway stations, it is just as gingerbread, festive, homely and pleasant.
But when you go inside it, you marvel at the organization of space and navigation. Everyone follows their own lines, with samurai tenacity. You can even see queues forming near the area where the train door will stop, and if suddenly a person does not have time, he will not break into the train, but will wait for the next one.
We also quickly found an information stand, or rather even an information point, where we were able to clarify the route and see the tour guides arranged on the shelves.
It's a very interesting place in itself, beautifully and tastefully decorated.
A huge passenger transport hub. Many lines intersect. Navigation at the station is amazingly organized. Even the first time I moved correctly.

An atypical building for modern Tokyo, it is immediately clear that they were inspired by Western architecture during construction. The train station itself surprised with the number of travel destinations. From here you can literally go to all points of the country. The only drawbacks are huge chaotic flows of people. There's nowhere to stop for a while to check things or data on the phone.
