St. Mark's Church (Serbian Crkva Svetog Marka) on Tashmaidan was built from 1931 to 1940 in the immediate vicinity of the old church of 1835 according to the plans of architects Peter and Branko Krstic. The temple is decorated in the Serbian-Byzantine style.
Inside the temple there are magnificent frescoes and a memorable iconostasis.
There is a very cozy park next to the cathedral.
It is convenient to walk with children or friends here.
One of the most beautiful temples in Belgrade. Architectural beauty, inner dignity and the created mood are combined. An impression that lasts for years.
