A wonderful family hotel. It is positioned as a two-star hotel, but in terms of living comfort it will give a big head start to the current four-star hotels, in which, in the current race of 2025, he lived in Thessaloniki, Kavala and Athens. There was an impression that there was a systemic crisis with the hotel business in Greece. Their hotels DO NOT reach the declared stardom in terms of comfort level at all. But with small hotels, plus or minus, everything is fine. I return to Spartacus House Meteora. It is located in the village of Kastraki, at the foot of a rocky ridge called Meteora, with views of the cliffs and Rusanu Monastery. Its own parking lot, its own tavern, its own dining room, a two-story building with rooms. The rooms are not worn out, well renovated, very clean, central heating (batteries) and air conditioning, good linen, safe, refrigerator, kettle, cups, spoons, tea, coffee, sugar, water. Everything drunk is resumed daily. The owner's name is Julia. A friendly, pleasant-spoken woman
During our stay
(early April), the tavern at the hotel was closed (out of season), but there is another one in the neighborhood that is open all the time. I also used it on my previous visit to Meteora in 2012, almost nothing has changed. Of the bitter disappointments, perhaps, a completely obscene moussaka (and it was for her that they followed). But, what can you do, nothing lasts forever, both the good (and 13 years ago, she was really delicious) and the bad. As for the hotel, I think if you stay in it, you won't be disappointed.
