Hello! I decided to share my impressions of my vacation at the Sosnovy Bor sanatorium.
I'll start with the location: right in the middle of the forest, the fresh air is like drinking an oxygen cocktail. The nature around is gorgeous – you can walk endlessly, enjoying the silence and beauty of nature.
The room is renovated, but there are pros and cons.
Positive:
1) new furniture
2) refrigerator
3) TV
4) towels
5) Cleaning every day
Minuses:
1) bad smell in the toilet (sewer smell)
2) lack of WI-FI (the website states that it is available)
3) the absence of a single room (when registering through social services). Because you don't know who you're going to live with. And what a man he is. For example, I don't like it when a person smokes and drinks when he snores at night.
4) there is no access to YouTube on the TV
5) There are very thin walls between the rooms. Absolutely everything is audible. Like someone sneezed, went to the bathroom, or is talking.
On the ground floor, there is a grocery store, a beauty salon, a clothing store, a jewelry store, etc.
The food was delicious and varied, and there was a new menu every day – even the picky ones would like it.
And what kind of procedures are there! I've had a course of massage, physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy. It feels like I've been reborn. After everything, I want to fly and smile at the whole world.
The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to help and prompt. In general, the rest was a success, I left there charged with energy and positive for the whole year ahead!
I recommend it to anyone who wants to recuperate and recharge with positive emotions! 🌞
I am especially grateful to massage therapist Marina for her professionalism, attention to wishes and creation of a pleasant atmosphere. Her sessions bring relief, relieve pain and tension, charging with health and good mood. (Room 2-20)

My favorite sanatorium. There are quite a lot of different procedures. The food is varied and delicious, the air is excellent, there is an entertainment program.
The impression was spoiled by the greed of the administration. We had a full day paid for, we didn't get to dinner. We were not allowed to use this dinner in the evening when we arrived and were not given anything from dinner when we left (previously we gave dry rations to those who did not get to dinner, then the administration forbade). It seems like a trifle, but it's unpleasant.

Oh... I haven't had such a disgusting vacation in a long time. Believe me, there is something to compare it with. It's not the first time I've been to a sanatorium. The room is equipped with a lamp-mounted TV that warms up and ripples for a long time. The kettle's lid is initially broken off. I'm not talking about the bathroom at all. As in the Soviet Union, grandma's house has painted floors and walls, Soviet-era tiles. No towel hooks. Generally fear. I understand that the room was economy for 17t. tenge per day per person, but for this money it's just terrible.
From a good one. Cleaned every day, Towels were changed every day.
The food is disgusting. There was no choice of dishes from the word at all. Although according to the posted menu, there should have been a choice of soup for lunch. And so there are at least 2 options for the second one. And considering that we ate on the second shift, they already took out what was left, and then it wasn't on the menu at all. And one day they just put a potato casserole with the words that there was nothing else. This is simply unthinkable! If you post a menu, then the person is at least counting on it and has the right to choose what they will eat. The menu was already quite dietary, without salt or any spices.
In general, if you are going to rest there, then at least take food supplies with you, there is a refrigerator. Otherwise, you will leave a lot of money in their store at the sanatorium, because the prices are sooo biting.
There are no questions about the treatment. Everything that was stated was everything. The quality is basically normal.
Nature is beautiful, but mosquitoes are just animals. There are a lot of them and they are big.
As a result, they also caught a cold. And the water made red spots on the body. In general, after such a rest, you need more rest. And they take a lot of money!!!

We have been traveling with our family for many years, mostly elderly people go for medical treatment. The food is as it should be for boarding houses, lean therapeutic, but there is a shop, a cafe. We travel and rent cabins on the territory of the pine house. How free everyone is, not bad. It all depends on the price. We also just go for a walk in the woods and ride a slide in winter, it's free. There is tubing rental and skiing.

A good Soviet-style sanatorium. The treatment is standard, as everywhere else: mud, baths, showers, physio, massage, oxygen therapy. There's a queue everywhere.
The most valuable thing is the wonderful nature!!! Coniferous forest, lake with mineral water.
I think that walking in the woods is more beneficial than waiting in lines for a sip of bottled oxygen. More movement. To breathe the wonderful clean air saturated with pine needles phytoncides!!! That's why you sometimes have to break out of polluted and dusty cities. Health in nature, not indoors.
The food is good, the portions for women are too large. You can't lose weight if you're overweight. You have to control yourself. It's normal for men. The assortment is varied, there are fruits, vegetables, ayran, ryazhenka. As well as individual diets for diseases.
The rooms are ordinary, very modest. But they are slowly making repairs, updating furniture, doors, etc
. I really liked the warm-up with the coach. The coach is great!!! He also conducts breathing exercises on Strelnikova and joint exercises. Exercise equipment.
From the train station and to the sanatorium, taxis cost 1.5 thousand per person.There is a bus from the sanatorium to the train station at 10 o'clock. It's not always convenient. You have to take a taxi and there you already pay for the salon.
I recommend a sanatorium. I really liked the nature!!!!!

I had a very good rest. In summer, the air is saturated with a pine smell. There is a pine forest nearby, there are many flowers on the territory. There is a lake. The pool is in the main building. The program is interesting, concerts, discos, there is a bowling alley. The food was good. The treatment is good. On Sunday there was an excursion to Kostanay. I liked it very much. I would like to visit again.

We had a rest with the company in November of this year.
Room 2 room junior suite on the 6th floor on the 5th! The only drawback is that birds come to the loggia, and cleaning on the loggia was not done every day.
We ate in the dining room on the ground floor. The choice of hot dishes for the next day from the 3 options offered. The food is very tasty.
The standard treatment is wonderful! A large selection of paid procedures. There are queues, of course, but this is an indicator of the occupancy / demand of the sanatorium.
One of the disadvantages is a small swimming pool. The water is cold in it. We came in once on the first day and on other days went only to the sauna and hammam.
Next to the sanatorium there is a place to walk in the forest there is a "wish tree" where you can tie a ribbon and make a wish.
Leisure is organized, but not at the highest level. Film screenings, lectures by a phytotherapist, karaoke, concerts with local celebrities. Bowling alley, cafe-bar next to the cinema-disco. 👍. A big and fat minus in the repertoire of music at discos. I think there is a purely human factor here. There are 2 female DJs working. The dark-haired girl's discos are more active, there are more dancers. But there is also something to work on. The blonde girl was completely upset. Boring, sluggish, the repertoire is the same. Custom songs are not included! We ordered 2 times, did not deliver, and in the remaining couple of days when we held discos, we did not even go. I recommend the administration to come, monitor and see for themselves how many vacationers are present at each disco.
After the end of the disco, we went to a cafe on the lake shore. My legs didn't have to get bored there. Well done!
On weekends, you can go to Kostanay to shop or go to the sauna complex by bus from the sanatorium.
In general, the rest was a success. I recommend the sanatorium!
Completing the review
We came here again a year later. This time we lived on the 7th floor in the same room. The tired look of the furniture, unlike the room below. There were interruptions with WI-FI in the room. The problem was fixed quickly. The new DJ guy is just super! There were more standard procedures. Contrast baths have been launched this year. There is a new VLOK procedure.
The sanatorium has a room with chess tables, table tennis, exercise therapy, and a volleyball hall. Singers are constantly invited, and suggested films are shown. Leisure is on top!
I add to the review: having rested for the third time in the sanatorium in 2024.
For those who want to come to the sanatorium for the first time, I recommend not skimping on the room category. This time, the three of us lived in a double superior standard on the 7th floor. This year, the loggias on it are covered with a bird net. A big plus. The room has everything you need, but there were no more bathrobes, they are given only in luxury rooms. Unfortunately, the electric kettle did not turn off automatically. The maids said there was nothing to replace it with yet. This year, I chose acupuncture from the paid procedures. The doctor is a master of his craft! Phyto bottle, herbal wrap for fans of fire is just a buzz.
We always eat in 3 dining rooms with a choice of dishes. The menu is wonderful, always delicious. The staff is 99% perfect. Of the big disadvantages of the sanatorium, I want to note that it's time to change almost all the bathrooms. They are whole, but they already look very bad. I would like the procedures to work all days. On Saturday, no one has time to go through all the prescribed procedures before 12. On Sunday, so that at least the paid ones work. Otherwise, 1.5 days are wasted. The only thing that saves you is your own leisure organization in the form of a trip to Kostanay. It's good that in the morning you can take the bus from the sanatorium, but you have to hire a taxi back. And change the DJ (girl) already. I'm not the one with that opinion in the reviews. We light up for 2 days with Murat, then for 2 days with her a rural boring disco. Even by the number of dancers, this is noticeable. There is no air conditioning system in the dance hall. Stuffy. And with Wi-Fi, there are constant interruptions in the rooms.

2. I recommend foot massage, but go to Svetlana, if you get there, she's so small, she's super. And so I did a foot massage for two, they always sit with dissatisfied faces (of course, I understand, they get tired), which is inconvenient for the most, not a pleasant sediment remained.
3. VERY COOL MASSAGE THERAPISTS ON THE BACK AND NECK - ANDREY KAB 3-1 AND YURI KAB. 3-3, IF YOU WANT QUALITY, GO TO THEM. THEY ARE VERY PLEASANT AND POLITE.
4. Don't take a Spanish massage, they do it terribly.
We have a junior suite, that is, an expensive room and at the same time with a view of the backyard and the eternal rumble of music from the dance party.

I really like the sanatorium. A wide variety of both therapeutic and spa procedures. Friendly staff, excellent doctors who will prescribe the correct treatment. Nice, comfortable rooms that have everything you need. Special thanks to the service staff for the cleanliness and comfort. The menu is varied and the dishes are very tasty. If you have a birthday, you will certainly be congratulated with a postcard and a large and delicious cake, which is especially nice. But I would really like Wi-Fi to work not only in the lobby, but in the rest - come, relax, you will not regret it!

I went to the sanatorium with my grandmother yesterday. I liked it.I really liked the back and neck massage. There is a small cafe downstairs and you can walk around the sanatorium.I didn't really like the food (everyone has different tastes)and it's a bit old to allocate time according to procedures.The rest suits me personally, I have a problem with my nose and there is almost no benefit from the procedures.The lakes there are clean and the further you swim the cleaner and the algae are cleaned there every morning.I advise you to go.

If you want to relax, you are not here.
You find yourself in the times of the Soviet Union with a lack of service and maintenance.
Nutrition : I have not seen such food anywhere for a long time, lack of variety and taste, sometimes it was simply not possible to eat - we remained hungry.
The staff did not even try to help if they asked any questions.
The rooms are in need of renovation.
The treatment does not hold up (my massager is more effective at home than in a sanatorium) salt cave, just a pathetic imitation.
The only thing that pleased me was the pool. (it relieves stress from the experienced "service" well)
WiFi is disgusting.
You need to try very hard to work like this (((

Anyway, I think the system of evaluating impressions on any scale is simply stupid. After all, these are all tastes. And everyone interprets the same assessment in their own way. Therefore, it is always worth reading the review, and not looking at the rating. Well, let's get to the point: the resort fully corresponded to what I expected from it. Food will not offend, as well as treatment. They don't create magic, but what they promise, they give. Old people are especially happy with everything they get there: attention, care, food, entertainment according to their interests, and most importantly, communication with people like themselves. In general, this is the place where you, at least, will not be disappointed. Everything, at least, will be fine, and if you are not a sophisticated person, you will be delighted.

We rested at the Sosnovy Bor sanatorium from July 31 to August 12... Many procedures are free, which is very convenient, massage is paid for the price is not expensive, it's worth the money, the canteen is delicious. The room facilities are not very good, we lived in a 2-bed standard room, the faucet ran in the sink, the shower was also not very good, the TV did not work. The territory is clean and well maintained. The air is clean. In the summer, there is no leisure for children, they are bored. We would come up with some games for them in the fresh air...

I rested in this sanatorium in 2022. To be honest, I did not expect that I would not like it there. The cooks do not cook well, the dishes are all cracked. Russian Russians are mostly working there and they pay more attention to Russians and they are allowed to skip the queue. I made a remark, they put me in another room, it's not broken, but again it's not tasty, they work in, mostly Russians and they pay more attention to Russians and they are allowed to pass without waiting in line. I naturally didn't like it.

We moved in with my wife from May 29 to June 3, 2023. Room 47 (junior suite). Wonderful view of the lake. Refrigerator, TV, air conditioning.
There are no complaints about the procedures. Everything is fine, the staff is polite. If something is unclear (this is my first time), then they will explain in detail.
There are no complaints about the dining room. The food is delicious. You order lunch and dinner the next day from the menu on offer. Breakfast is formed by themselves. There is enough food.
The maid works very well too.
The claim is only for the number.
1. There is no protective curtain near the bathroom. No matter how carefully you wash, the splashes fly to the floor and you need to be very careful not to slip.
2. The wire from the air conditioner reaches only to the outlet, where the TV and 2 set-top boxes are already turned on (through the tee). So it's either an air conditioner or a TV. And the air conditioner is aimed at the bed.
3. There is not enough mosquito net on the balcony door. You open the door to ventilate the room and get a portion of midges. And you can't turn on the air conditioner, because it's directed at the bed.
These seem to be small things, but they bring their own negativity.

This is a unique resort area with therapeutic mud from a nearby lake. I advise everyone who has a sick stomach to go for treatment with warm mineral water of this sanatorium.
