I really liked the hotel. A quiet place, a gorgeous rocky shore right on the hotel level. But if you go to the left, then there is a quiet bay with breakwaters, you can swim calmly without waves, you can swim to the right between the rocks, but carefully, if the waves are large, it hits the rocks... if you go to the beach on the road from the hotel, then you and monitor lizards can go out to meet and peacocks fly and snakes crawl out and mongooses frolic, in general, all the wild nature rampage. The restaurant has a classic breakfast, lunch and dinner are delicious, I took a ticket with breakfast, but I had lunch or dinner every day delicious, for about 1 thousand dollars without booze, or rather with beer.. they had delicious red rum, but we went to the bazaar to buy, we also took fruits at the bazaar.. thank God there was no animation, there were few children either, the beauty is simple, there is a good pool at the hotel. I liked the rooms. Spacious, the guys cleaned every day. Towels and sun loungers were also constantly monitored near the pool. I liked the rest here. It is suitable for those who do not need fuss, movement, complete relaxation.
Very comfortably located. Excellent ocean views from all rooms above the ground floor. Please note that the shops are not close. There are several private cafes nearby where you can eat. The rooms are spacious, nice, and moderately worn, especially with a shower and toilet. Friendly staff. Don't wait for your sandy beach with sun loungers, there won't be one here. There is a beach with huge rocks near the hotel. There are swimming spots to the right of the hotel and a beach with breakwaters to the left. There is a swimming pool on site. Of the cons, there are almost no umbrellas by the pool and there are not enough umbrellas for everyone when checking into the hotel by more than 50%. There were minor problems with cleaning the room, sometimes they forgot to bring towels. Nutritionally, in my opinion, the best dinner, a no-frills breakfast. We had lunch according to the alyakart menu, everything was decent. Delicious fresh juices.
This is not our first time in Sri Lanka, but this time we chose a secluded hotel located quite far from civilization. There is only a small village of Ryokawa nearby, where there are several cafes, and 4 kilometers away there is a small market.
But this hotel left the most memorable impressions and vivid emotions.
Imagine that you are practically in the jungle, with the ocean to your right and left. Different! On one side is turtle beach, where a huge turtle takes seaweed right out of your hands. On the other hand, if you walk a little along the rocky shore, there is a quiet lagoon where small sharks swim.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a flock of monkeys, they move along the coastline, looking into hotels) calm, not aggressive, like in Thailand, but very delicate.
Monitor lizards calmly walking around the territory, a chameleon in pool toys, an incredible variety of lizards, hermit crabs and crabs.
The huge black snake that crawled out somehow didn't scare me at all. We have already become accustomed to unity with nature)
The child was delighted.
I liked the food, it's fiery spicy, rich in spices, and the usual continental.
Tuna in various forms, chicken, vegetables, local cuisine, very tasty, by the way. You won't stay hungry.
Daily cleaning, water in the room 2 times a day, as much as needed, this is a huge plus.
The hotel itself is small and needs renovation, but I give it 5 stars for its privacy, proximity to nature and emotions.
