A wonderful place for a summer vacation! It's a couple of steps to the beach. The dining room is well fed, but if you don't like the food there, then you can go to a restaurant on the beach. You can connect Wi-Fi for a small price. During heavy rains, the earth may come off the tracks from the hills, but it is promptly taken away. There is a training area with a large number of simulators. There is also a large park and playgrounds for basketball and volleyball.

It is convenient that it is located on the seashore, but otherwise you need to change a lot- the power supply, as it was 10 years ago, remains the same, there is 1 table lamp for three in the rooms, there are no televisions, entertainment of any kind, at 9 p.m. the "dead kingdom",there is no Internet, no connection with the world,and the road to get there, you'll ruin the whole car ... you need to change your approach to rest, everything has long been outdated…

To begin with, Abkhazia is a country of the soul. A great country to relax in, and one of the best places here is the Sunny boarding house. I went here as a tourist in summer and as a student in winter, and at any time of the year this boarding house pleased me with its excellent conditions, views and, most importantly, people. I will definitely come back here!

Gorgeous, well-groomed territory, on the seashore, was not in the buildings, we lived at a nearby base, and in Sunny Moscow State University we went to eat in the dining room. It is very tasty and varied. They gave ice cream for lunch and wine for dinner. The chefs are very polite.

We rested at the boarding house "Sunny MSU" from 09/17/12 to 30.09.22. MSU is important, because in Abkhazia there is another boarding house "Sunny" in the Gagra district. And ours is located behind Pitsunda, or rather behind the Fish Factory. This is a village – suburb of Pitsunda. I will try to write everything in detail. Perhaps I will repeat other reviews in some ways. It will be interesting for those who go for the first time. We arrived in Adler. From the airport by taxi to the border (Psou checkpoint) 500-600 rubles. They crossed the border on foot. Depending on the influx of tourists, it takes from 15 minutes to 1-1.5 hours. Go out to the playground, where there will be a lot of taxis and minibuses. A taxi directly to the boarding house is 2500 rubles (if there are four of you, then it's fine for 1 person). An alternative is a minibus to the Fish Factory = 300 rubles per person. A taxi takes less than an hour (they drive, traffic rules in Abkhazia are a separate topic), a minibus takes 1.5 hours. You will go through Gagra and Pitsunda. The road is interesting. From the fish factory taxi to the boarding house 500 rubles. Someone wrote in the reviews that you can walk - don't even try. From the Fish factory to the first gorge (Monashesky – Monashka River), a 20-minute walk along a dirt road. Then continue through the detour for 40 minutes on foot, or jump over large boulders along the sea - with a suitcase is not realistic. The pension "Solnechny MSU" is located in the second gorge – Ryapshskoye (Ryapsha river). The place is very beautiful. WiFi is paid in the boarding house - 300 rubles for 1 connection. There is no speed, it is constantly being lost. The router is located in the dining room building, it does not take in the room. It's better to take a local SIM card at the Fish Factory. We charged 400 rubles, of which 100 rubles are immediately withdrawn for 1000MB per week and 250 for the tariff, 50 rubles remain. All entrance calls are free of charge. All the next 1000 MB will be 140 rubles each. The rooms are normal. If you are used to 5*, then you will not feel comfortable. Cons – there are not enough shelves for shampoo in the shower and hooks for towels, there are traces of black mold. Toilet paper – I used to think that such a thing has not been produced for a long time. A piece of soap. The linen is changed once a week. There are 2 towels per person – a large bath towel and a small one (you cannot take them to the beach). The linen is not new, but clean. There is an air conditioner. The TV is only in the dining room and conference room above the reception. The buildings are 3-storey. There are 2 rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors in the block. They share a hallway and a kitchen. There is a kettle, a microwave and minimal utensils. There is one dryer for 2 rooms – who will take it first. An iron and a board are in the room next to the reception. Breakfast – 9.00-10.00. Lunch – 13.00-14.00. Dinner 18.00-19.00. Very tasty, varied and high-quality food (thanks to the chefs). Daily honey and matzoni in the morning, wine in the evening, some fruits, ice cream every other day in the afternoon. Delicious pastries. If you are going on an excursion, take a dry ration with you, so big that it is not realistic to eat. Excursions must be booked in advance at the reception. The sea is a 5-minute walk away. In principle, the beach is sandy, but the storm carried out a lot of stones and pebbles. Therefore, the entrance to the sea is 2 meters of pebbles, then sand. There are sun beds under the canopy, there are not enough for everyone. The smartest ones occupy them in the evening – they put a towel on, and then they don't come. There is a changing room, toilet, shower and a faucet to wash off the sand. There is a paid cafe on the shore. The territory is well maintained, flowerbeds, palm trees. There is a gym, a sports ground and a court. You can get out of the boarding house yourself by taxi (500 rubles to the Fish Factory) or jump on boulders along the sea. The latter is for physically active people with appropriate shoes. If there is a storm, then part of the road is on the water. In principle, it is not safe - there may be a landslide from the mountain. Everywhere and everyone sells wine and chacha. Grapes do not grow as much as wine is sold. On excursions, you will be taken to wine, cheese and honey tastings. All this is exactly the same as you can buy in other places, but at times more expensive - business. And more about the transfer - Alan +7(940)992-7055 organizes the transfer. He will arrange it so that there is a maximum number of passengers in the car, then there will be less payment for 1 person. For example, many people went to the airport without transfers, for 1 person it turned out to be 1,250 rubles. He needs to write to Whatsapp or Viber. And another unpleasant moment – when we left, our flight was rescheduled for 01.10.22. there were several such families. The administrator charged us an additional fee of 1050 rubles in fact for one night, because we left at 10.00. Then I found out that only we had paid. There was no need to pay. But in general, we had a lot more positive than negative.

The sea is two minutes from the boarding house. The area is clean and pretty, you can take a walk. Of the disadvantages that in my opinion can be solved are transfers, it is almost impossible to get somewhere without a car, since the boarding house is far from civilization. Also, the electricity goes out every night and the Internet is very bad.

If you are going for the sea, the sun and the silence, then all this is in abundance here. The boarding house is located in a bay, it takes a minute to walk to the sea, there is a covered place with sun beds on the beach, the opportunity to change clothes, wash off sand or salt water, and even a toilet. A nice bonus will be a good three meals a day, rooms with spacious balconies and wi-fi, which can be purchased for an additional fee. The disadvantages are that it is far to get and therefore expensive. And there is still no medical care, so it's better to bring what you need with you. The lights are turned off for three hours at night. There are no big problems in this, if you are sleeping, the refrigerator, the air conditioner will simply not work, there will be no way to charge the phone, boil the kettle, and also go to the bathroom, because it will be terribly dark.

I was with my wife in those parts in September. We went to the beach from the Sunny Beach base through the territory of the MSU base...It's very beautiful, there's even a mini zoo - a raccoon in a cage, it's cool. Their dining room is not bad, and there are few vacationers on the beach. It is very suitable for family holidays.

Horror, cockroaches, dirty rooms, you can only get to the Fish factory by taxi 500 or 700r or on foot along the terrible road 2km 800m.The food is canteen, everything is on the water, the horror is the scariest place I have ever seen.Tour operators stop selling it to people (it's better to relax there yourself)I read the reviews before, I didn't believe it, the cat places there 900r a day the period from August 14 in the private sector is full of 600r..I'm attaching a photo, it's a little bit of horror.

Cleanliness and order are ignored.
