I'm not too lazy to leave a review, because the hotel impressed me. I really wanted to stop in the Kazbek area, but in Stepantsminda there were already either expensive or completely uff options. And then I accidentally saw this hotel, which turned out to be a fairy tale! You turn into a gorge and enter a huge castle. Large ceilings, lots of air, a swimming pool, a great breakfast! There are antiquities nearby. There was a lot of lack of a table on the balcony to drink wine in the evening and look at the mountains, but we arranged everything ourselves :)
A very cozy and beautiful hotel in Sno, overlooking the mountains. Delicious breakfast. The pool is warm and spacious. We had a very nice Junior suite room, we really liked it. I remember a lot of small joints - the windows in the pool should be washed, the tiles in front of the entrance should be shifted, but these are all small things, a great hotel for your money.
The hotel is in the form of a castle with a view of Kazbek. Nice rooms, excellent warm pool, hospitable hosts. A delicious breakfast made from local products. Dinner, unfortunately, is only a buffet. The products are of high quality, but the choice is limited. If you want a more complete dinner, you will have to go to Stepantsminda (GEL 20 one way by taxi). Overall, everything is very good. I recommend it to everyone.
There is a swimming pool, breakfast is normal. The rooms are also good. There is parking. There is a church on site. The village is half-abandoned, the walk will be interesting.
Large hotels with a view of Kazbek from the room (and right from the bed), very polite staff. And breakfast is like a song. We thought it was a buffet for the whole hotel, but it turned out to be for the two of us
A very beautiful, cozy place! We rented a house for a day, but we didn't want to leave, there were still some left! The warmth and cordiality of the locals inspires you to have a long vacation!
Attention!!!information for everyone who plans to stay at the SHO KAZBEGI hotel!
The hotel is not working!
It's closed!
Today, on February 25th, we arrived after making a reservation on the hotel's website.
Two days ago, a request came from the hotel "are you sure you will arrive?"
...the hotel is closed, closed from the word "completely".
Fortunately, they did not pay in advance and were able to find a hotel nearby by booking.
Another plus is that we're driving.
If you decide to come to this hotel, call the hotel first.
The hotel is a fairy tale! Location - one view of Kazbek is worth a lot! The rooms are gorgeous. The hotel has a swimming pool, open until late. The breakfast is wonderful. The staff is increasingly young, many people know English better than Russian, but they try to do everything as best as possible! Large parking lot.
In January 2023, we stayed for a day. That was enough.
On the plus side - proximity to the border, mountain view from the room, a certain authenticity.
Among the disadvantages: the lack of an opportunity to have a snack at the hotel. Nothing can be ordered from the menu, only a buffet at 19.00
Brunch at 9 a.m. If you leave earlier, you stay hungry. We ordered a lunch box, but forgot about it.
It's cold in the rooms, no matter how we tried to adjust the temperature - it's useless, the wind blew terribly from the windows.
The sauna service is funny, it is designed for one person.
At the spa hotel, bathrobes are not hung in the room.
The pool has a beautiful view of the mountains, but at first it is not clear whether to go to the construction site or to the trash.
The appearance, parking, location, warm pool, good breakfast, spacious rooms pleased. And everything would have been fine, BUT the wild cold and flaws in the room (burnt out light bulbs, swollen parquet, faulty switches, non-working trouble, etc.) spoiled the impression.
It's a wonderful place, we opened our eyes in the morning, there are mountains all around. You enter the hotel like an old castle. A huge lobby, a beautiful glass elevator. They are accepted with animals, you can safely take your favorite animal with you, a dog or a cat.
Very nice, quiet place, swimming pool and breakfast

A wonderful place, located a couple of kilometers from the hyped hotel right at the entrance to Kazbegi. Quiet place, private Parking, spacious hall, lots of Windows, stunning mountain views, clean and nice rooms. If you're driving, you can cut down on spending the night pretty well.
A peculiar architecture with a large hall and rooms around the perimeter. It is located in a picturesque place. It's hard to find at night. It's not expensive, it's cozy.
