A unique living powerful place! The Scythian Camp! One of the most famous memorial and tourist complexes on Khortytsia, where the mounds were reconstructed. These mounds are the same age as the Egyptian pyramids!
The main burial mound of the group is called Zorova Grave ("Sentinel Mound"). This is the highest point of the island of Khortytsia, the height above the Dnieper River is almost 60 meters. During the time of the Cossacks, this point was used as a lookout point (beket). To do this, fuel was ignited at the top of the becket, from which flames could be seen far away at night and smoke during the day.
In the northern part of the complex there is a unique museum of stone sculptures - lapidarium. Here, in the open air, stone memorabilia of history from different eras are brought together - Cimmerian, Scythian, Polovtsian stone sculptures and their fragments, stupas, harmans, grain grinders, millstones, stone troughs, travel and gateposts, stone crosses from different eras, and much more.
The Scythian Camp is considered a place of power - a special energy point of the Earth, in which vital energy comes to the surface.
