We stayed at the Side Hotel during a trip to Istanbul in early April. It took a long time to find a place to stay, there are very few Russian-language reviews on the Side.
The hotel left only positive impressions, for which I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff and management of the hotel. It is especially worth mentioning Aboubakir, Emre and big Emre, who contributed to our pleasant stay at the Side. All the guys were constantly positive, which couldn't help but inspire a great vacation in Istanbul.
I would also like to mention the perfect cleanliness in every corner of the hotel. The breakfasts are no frills, but delicious and satisfying. During breakfast, careful attention is paid to the accuracy of the distribution line, the availability of dishes and utensils. When we arrived at the room in the evening, we were always greeted by a carefully cleaned room that smelled clean.
We had a room on the 4th floor, adjacent to the kitchen, but we didn't notice any noise. Repairs are underway in the neighboring building, they begin around 8-9 a.m. It doesn't cause discomfort if you stay up late. The street on which the hotel stands is quiet, at night we slept with the window open and heard only seagulls and mules at dawn :)
The undoubted advantage is the view from the room and the location of the hotel, close to the main attractions, transport interchange, shops.
Definitely, when I want to come to the heart of Istanbul again, I will choose this place again!
Nice hotel. Not far from the T1 tram stop , good breakfasts, daily room cleaning, clean. The rooms are small, but it's quite normal for three people to spend the night.
Nice hotel in the historical center of Istanbul. The rooms are decent, the reception staff is friendly. The breakfasts are a little meager, but you can choose something.
Top location, rooftop view of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and the Bosphorus. The room is clean, freshly renovated, cleaning every day, the breakfasts are monotonous, but there is always something to choose from. I really liked the staff, they are always helpful. I rented in October for 6,000 per day, for this money, this place is just fine.
Pros: Location. Cleanliness (change of linen and towels daily!). The staff is polite and very responsive. The breakfasts are good. Thanks! Of the minuses:there is not enough furniture for clothes and shoes. There is one socket for four in the room.
A wonderful hotel located in the heart of the old city - within walking distance from Sultanahmet Square, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
Qualified staff will answer all your questions and help you solve any problems that arise.
We stayed in this hotel for 6 days in March. We walked around the city all day. They only came to spend the night. The location is the best it can be. The rooms are very simple and small with a minimum of furniture. But the beds are comfortable. Very clean. Good cleaning. We slept well. For breakfast, a plate with sliced vegetables, bread, and an egg was prepared for each guest. Cheese, sausage, croissants, yogurt, fruits, butter are separately available and can be obtained. Tea, instant coffee. Natural coffee on order for money. Everything is extremely simple, but delicious. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The price-quality ratio is excellent. I recommend it as the most budget option.
Very nice hotel, I liked everything!! Everything is within walking distance! Well done Yakub at the reception. Everything was great, clean, and comfortable!
