When the staff found out that my wife and I have been married for 25 years, they brought a bottle of champagne, sweets and left a warm congratulatory message in the room.
Drinking bottled water and Nespresso machine with capsules are always available and refilled whenever asked for.
Fresh various meals are served for breakfast.
My wife agreed to stay in Sheraton despite my night snoring. )

Nice hotel. Polite and friendly staff, clean and cozy room, good spa, breakfasts amaze and delight with their variety.
On the downside, there is no clothes/shoe dryer in the room, as ridiculous as it sounds, but the light from the fire alarm shines directly into your eyes at night and makes it difficult to sleep.

I just got back from Astana! I stayed at the Sheraton Hotel for two weeks, and it was just magical! ✨ The service is top notch, the staff is so attentive. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts every day. The atmosphere in the hotel is very cozy and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. I will definitely come back here again! I recommend it to everyone! 👍

Far from 5 stars! The only thing that works smoothly there is a hammam. You got sick and you ask to bring lemon tea to the room from breakfast, which is included in the stay, for 5,000 tenge they will bring it. Every day there is some kind of joke with ventilation, then it blows only with heat, then it blows only with cold, then it doesn't blow at all, of course you will find out about this when you wake up in the morning with a clogged nose or dry, this is despite the fact that the windows in the room do not open, and there is simply no way to ventilate the room. The water in the room pours with intermittent temperature changes, so you won't be able to meditate in the shower, you'll need to jump back periodically, I'm already silent about the quality of the water, which makes everything itch on the third or fourth day! Well, the cherry on the cake is your safety, anyone who knows your last name can come and find out if you're in the room, and the caring staff will even knock on your door and pretend to be idiots that you haven't paid for something, go down to the reception!) considering that you naturally didn't order anything. You go downstairs and they put you in a black bag and take you away. Well, or even better, you're sitting in the lobby, working, and drunk Kazakhs start calling you names, verbally having oral sex with you, who just came in to drink whiskey. To address the hotel administration, just a strangled look and we apologize to you. Bottom line: there is no rest, it's always cold, then it's hot, then everything itches, the staff doesn't seem to know what loyalty is, security is in the red, you can shit, get fucked, and generally get into your room under any pretext. The cleaning service also bursts into the room without warning, but if you just left the room in front of them and forgot the key, you ask them to open the room, they have no right!) in short, I am "delighted" to stay in this hotel, at best 3 stars, next time I will go to the Hilton! By the way, there's a lot of dust in the room, which is why I ended up getting sick for the second week I was there!

The hotel is gorgeous. Excellent location. The staff is responsive and polite. The breakfasts are delicious. But, I will note 2 points:
1) as soon as I entered the room, the coffee machine did not work. But I called the reception and everything was fixed within 15 minutes. It's super
2) the swimming pool with Jacuzzi did not work for a week when I was staying at the hotel. It was because of the pool that I chose the Sheraton. And it's strange that the spa center is just down the hall. And you walk past conference rooms in a bathrobe with slippers, where big agashki decide something or information gypsies present something)

I have been to Astana twice and stayed at the Sheraton Hotel twice. Very good location, great views from the rooms to the most beautiful part of the city, great breakfasts and decent restaurants in the hotel, an exchange office is within walking distance, which is important for foreign tourists. The staff is friendly, Russian-speaking, ready to solve any problem. Special thanks for the SPA area with pools, Jacuzzi, bar, sauna. Be sure to take a swimsuit with you and visit, you won't regret it. I want to return to this hotel, and this speaks for itself!

I stayed at this beautiful hotel in February. I'll start with a good one) The hotel is really beautiful! The lobby, rooms, restaurant, spa area – all this is the result of the work of designers and architects who thought over and worked on every corner of the space.
Of the good things, I will also note the breakfasts, which correspond in the best sense of the word to the stardom of the hotel – variety, taste, freshness! A large selection of hot dishes and cold snacks, fruits, vegetables, drinks. Even the most fastidious guests can be fed at breakfast at this hotel)
Perhaps I will stop praising further… On the day of our arrival, there was no hot water in the hotel, from the word at all. The water appeared only at the first hour of the night. I do not know if it is the fault of the hotel or the city administration, but it was not and it is not good)
The hotel's service is also decently lame. Management and staff respond weakly, lazily and slowly to requests and questions. The coffee machine did not work in our room, when asked to do something about it, the reception promised to sort it out, but during the day no one wanted to do it.
The room is terribly hot and stuffy. I understand that Astana freezes in February and hotels have switched to winter mode of operation. What does it mean? This means that the central air conditioning in the hotel does not allow you to control your room climate.
Well, imagine that when you check into a 5-star hotel of a well-known chain, you are in it without hot water, suffering from stuffiness and heat, with a broken coffee machine and staff not responding to it in any way. It's not a level, it's a pity(

My stay at the Sheraton Hotel was just great! From the warm reception at check-in to the cozy rooms with beautiful views, every moment was filled with comfort and attention to detail. The service is so excellent that I felt at home. The incredibly polite and professional hotel staff did their best to make my stay unforgettable. I didn't like it at all. We got the booking mixed up. They forced me to pay for the second person in the room +10,000, although the price for the room is indicated on the booking. This is the first time I've come across an extra charge for a second person in a room, excluding breakfast. The administrator was not aware of the promotions, she redid the booking twice. It was my birthday, and I was in a very bad mood. They didn't even apologize. The spa is just a nightmare. A small pool, a crowd of people (sold separately, entrance is not for guests). When we entered, they warned us to come in, but there were no seats. Seriously? A 5-star hotel? The refrigerator with the bar is locked. Are you afraid that God forbid he drinks Coke without your permission in the 71,000 room? This is the first time I've encountered this. Sorry, it's also a refrigerator, not just a bar. I travel a lot, I often stay in hotels. It's a shame! It is a shame that such a service is available in Astana.

A good hotel. A great breakfast. Not without flaws! Everything is nice and chic in the room, but the windows do not open and there are no rooms with opening windows. The SPA area is very remote, you need to overcome a bunch of corridors to find it, and in the SPA area itself there is a long transition from the sauna area to the pool and Jacuzzi, until you get there, you freeze. Well, to resolve issues at the reception, everything is refused. A simple example, I asked for a simple envelope, but it was refused.

Good morning, Astana! I was in your beautiful, clean city from 3.08 to 08/08/2023 and lived at the Sheraton Astana Hotel. The hotel itself and the room are just wonderful. Spa with several pools, one Jacuzzi. If the weather permits, you can go out on the terrace and sunbathe. You can also have a snack and drink various drinks there. You do not need to take a bathrobe, slippers and a towel with you. Everything is given out- when the SPA is located. There is a fitness room in the SPA area. It is open 24/7. At the SPA, you can go down from your floor to 3 without going through the reception area. On the second floor, there is a wonderful hall for the owner of a club card, where you can have a delicious breakfast, eat the soup of the day for lunch and dinner. But dinner ends early enough, check the time. I came to the U.S. Consulate for an interview. There is an employee at the hotel named Alisher. A very responsive and kind young man. Since I postponed the interview from Almaty to Astana, my application did not come. The consulate asked to fill out a new one and send it to the address of Astana. Alisher agreed to help me with filling out the application and was in touch all the time when I needed him. Thank him very much for that! If you really need help from the hotel, I highly recommend this young man. And thanks to the hotel for such employees!

Polite and tidy staff, reasonable prices, besides, due to the lack of a room that I booked, they gave me an even better room and made a discount.
There are also disadvantages, but not significant for me.
