My favourite restaurant in Tbilisi so far. Fantastic decor, really cozy atmosphere in open air, all the dishes we ordered, were 10/10!

The food is delicious, the usual Georgian dishes are reinterpreted and served in an unusual manner. The interior is interesting and pleasant to look at. There is a cozy courtyard. The service is very slow and discreet, but everything is clear. Drinks are very expensive, as for me.
Those Russians who write here that they are being violated are very wrong, these are their personal internal fears and tensions. No one is required to speak Russian, the language of international communication is English, learn at least a few basic words and don't be embarrassed. The service here is equally unhurried for everyone.

A pleasant international place with friendly staff. The interior design is excellent, but be prepared for an average check for two +- 100 GEL. The prices are Moscow, the portions are also not large. for this, a star.
UPD. I am changing the review to 1 star due to the demonstrated hostility of the institution towards the Russian people (in Georgia as a whole, this is evident). They carried the food for a long time, waited for about an hour, I wouldn't be surprised if they spit there...

The food is very interesting and delicious. Seals are running around everywhere, which is especially pleasing. The interior is wonderful. I would like to note that no one adds 20% to the check. Fact check, relatively speaking, translates as "historical background" or "real fact". Yes, it's unpleasant, but you don't pay an extra percentage of tips, don't mislead people and learn English. :)

it was the first place we visited in Georgia (we arrived late, I was hungry).. the internet at the hotel was bad - the reviews did not load.. If I read it, I would not go 100%.. to be honest, after this establishment, I wanted to turn around and leave the country.. which is what they are trying to achieve.. the food is delicious (even if they spit on it, it's not noticeable).. the attitude is not exactly terrible, but it is very uncomfortable.. as many have written, Russian speakers are the last to be served.. the menu is printed on paper in English without pictures, grammars, etc.: name - price.. I don't know if it's different for others..

I really liked it! And the interior and the cats that jumped on the table. Delicious food and large portions! I spoke English. The waiters were very friendly. Those who do not like the attitude towards Russians - do not go there! There is a warning on the gate. They have the right. Half of Tbilisi is covered in inscriptions about Putin and a Russian warship. Yes, I also don't like it when all Russians are smeared with the same paint. Well, after the Second World War, all Germans were also considered fascists - even anti-Nazis. You need to put up with this, and not put 0 stars on the basis of nationalism. No one is pulling Russians to this restaurant.

The food court is probably especially good in spring and summer. But we got there by numerous friendly recommendations in early January and were not disappointed either.
Signs and posters warning about the political position of the bar owners are immediately greeted at the entrance. It seems to me that if you don't agree, don't come in, that's all.
The service is provided in Georgian or English. The waitress girls are very nice and friendly. According to the dishes: the most delicious vegetable salad (because of the very tasty butter) and the most delicious lamb kebab that I have tried here.
A small minus: a small selection of beer. There are two items on the menu — one lager and one cider.

Russian russians, or if you speak Russian, don't go there. You will be served at the end of the queue, treated mediocre. The food is delicious, but it is also cooked in many other places with a great attitude towards Russians.
Russian Russians write such nonsense on checks when a huge part of the visitors are Russians (when I visited the restaurant, there was only one couple from Georgia, the rest of the visitors are Russians), it's a stupid thing to do, I wanted to leave a tip, but when I saw the check, I changed my mind.

We had dinner at this restaurant on April 4, 2024. We should immediately note that the restaurant expresses its political position vividly. Russian Russians have a separate item in the receipt: they withdraw 20 percent of the amount only for the fact that you are Russian or "live in Russian-occupied territory," as it says in the receipt. They asked the administrator for a comment, to which she replied the following: "this is not the policy of the restaurant, but of Georgia." In general, this is discrimination on the part of the restaurant.
We have been in Georgia for a week, we have eaten a lot of places, we met this for the first time. And now about the food. The restaurant has traditional national cuisine, a beautiful Georgian-style room, and a terrace. We noticed a lot of locals. The menu is not very diverse, the prices are not justified above average. There are almost no sweets. The menu has a plate with traditional Georgian sweets for 24 lari, with some dried fruits, peanuts and a little churchkhela on it. We were waiting for more variety.

We took three positions on the menu, as a result, we overpaid for the lack of quality, the taste of soap and unfinished dishes. beef in pomegranate sauce is still good, Georgian risotto with lamb will make you eat red Moscow cologne and get a microscope to search for meat. tax is not included in the cost of the receipt, so you will be charged a tax of 18 percent on top. It's sad, tasteless, but the interior is good. the portions are small, you won't be able to eat enough for that kind of money. you can eat three times cheaper in a restaurant with a less luxurious interior, but with better service, delicious food and large portions. Therefore, the wait for the dishes was also long. The barbecue and trout were waiting for about an hour! The salads were brought quickly, the portions are large, very tasty. The fish was very tasty in the end. But the kebab is quite mediocre, on the "so-so". Although he was saved by the fact that he was with awesome pickles in the serve.
The most important feature of this restaurant is its atmosphere (on the veranda in the courtyard), 3 black cats that look at the table, and warm wool blankets that were served to throw on from the coolness.
I didn't notice anything about Russophobia, although I openly and loudly spoke in Russian, including with the waiter. But a friend made an order in English

We were with friends at this cafe based on recommendations from various tourist sites and travel guides, as the recommendations were excellent, however, the place did not justify itself completely.
Everything we didn't order was very mediocre and wasn't worth the money they were asking for. Only the wine was delicious and I really liked the atmosphere, but that's it.
We ordered soup and several local dishes with meat. None of my friends appreciated it.

They will offer a dirty table in the corner, saying that the rest of the tables are in reserve, although after an hour and a half of waiting for dishes, no one took these tables ... and needless to say, after that, all the food was not just cold but delicious!
