In March 2025, in search of an alternative to Russian resorts, she visited the Shahdag ski resort. On the mountain there are 3 hotels in a circle- 2 pcs. Marriott and Shahdag SPA Hotel. According to the location, this is the most successful-immediately from the 1st floor of the hotel there is an exit to the mountain. I was pleasantly surprised by the standard room: the size, design, spacious loggia, mountain views are everywhere, although we did not overpay for the "mountain view" upon check-in. It turned out that after lunch the sun was on our side, and the room and the loggia were flooded with the sun. The breakfasts were good, and the room, and the staff, and the assortment, everything is good except coffee. For dinner, we visited the hotel restaurant on the 7th floor a couple of times. My rating of the restaurant's cuisine is 7 out of 10. On the 1st floor. SPA and swimming pool, fitness equipment, sauna and hammam. It's very beautiful and atmospheric. 9 out of 10. not 10 out of 10, because the noisy children of the guests in the pool dispersed other vacationers from the SPA, and the staff did not stop the daily recurring situation. There is a rental service at the hotel (not cheap)+storage. There are no complaints about the staff, they speak the languages. At the ATM in the lobby, you can withdraw money in manats from the MIR card, buy skipasses and excursions. You will need a taxi to get to the nearest city. It takes 3.5-4 hours to get to Baku, depending on the traffic in Baku. In terms of price/quality ratio, the hotel surpassed my wildest expectations, leaving far behind the hotels of Russian resorts (price / quality in Sochi/Sheregesh). I recommend the hotel/resort to visit.

A little outdated repair, but no complaints, everything is clean and working. Room cleaning every day. There is an ironing board, iron, lots of dryers, toothbrushes, slippers, bathrobes. Dressing gowns in size s. There is no coffee machine, as stated on the website)
The pool is small, warm, there is a hammam and sauna. The breakfasts are very varied for 5+. In general, as well as lunch and dinner.

Breathtaking views and fresh air, beautiful nature.
There is a huge amount of entertainment for children and adults on the territory of the hotel: rollercoaster, zipline, ski lifts, buggies, shooting range, paintball, horse riding – this is just a small list of sports activities available to resort guests in the summer.
Also on the territory there are restaurants (about 12 pieces), karaoke, hookah bar, karaoke, game center.
The hotel itself has a luxurious, huge, incredible spa center, the largest in Azerbaijan.
We held a corporate event here for the customer's company, the guests were delighted.
And I, as an organizer, am very satisfied with the conditions, well-coordinated work of the staff and the service.
