We stayed at this hotel from February 16 to February 25, 2025.
We were greeted with a welcome cocktail. And then the most interesting thing began. We were left with the full impression of a deceptive scheme (later we talked with other people of this hotel, they had the same impression). We had a paid room from the 2nd-4th floor with a balcony.
Upon check-in, we were immediately offered a room with an ocean view for $10 per night! We refused. We were accommodated in room 203, 2nd floor, there is a balcony. It seems like everything was paid. But when we saw the room, we realized that we didn't want to live here.
According to them, there are no other numbers. There was only a view of the ocean… We decided not to fight, but to pay. But the impression was spoiled by the hotel. (By the way, this room has an ocean view, just across the hall. That is, the room itself has a balcony overlooking the garden. But there is a window on the hall for 3 rooms. And through it you can see the ocean ...)
And so, the beach with turtles is close. There is a supermarket with UnionPay in 10 minutes. There are many cafes, and many accept our card.
Of course, a 2-star hotel is not a 5-star hotel in Egypt. There is no TV. The safe is just a box... (even in the most expensive room). They won't do the cleaning if you don't ask. The bed linen, it seemed to us, had never been changed.
The pool is compact and cozy. We've seen it cleaned periodically. But the water is still cloudy.
One more nuance. We paid Union Pay in many places. But they didn't charge us anything extra anywhere. And only in this hotel, when you pay for something (we ate at their place several times), they charge a 3% commission for everything.
By the way, in any cafe you will definitely be charged 10% for the service. Even if you only take beer... well, in this hotel they add another 3% to the 10%.
One more tip. Do not bring any gifts to the Sri Lankans (neither chocolates, nor our alcohol). They don't appreciate it and they don't accept it. We wanted to please and thank them several times, but they just said give us the dollars....
We enjoyed our stay, but we won't be coming to this hotel anymore.

A wonderful hotel! It is located away from the noisy road, monkeys and peacocks are outside the window. Breakfast is always with scrambled eggs. The staff are like kind distant relatives. They always help and prompt.
