I travel by myself and was looking for a hotel based on reviews. I am very glad that I chose Scenic bay weligama.
1. I was very well received, quickly settled in, even upgraded the room category (special thanks to Hirushan for this, as I understood it, this is their head)
2. The breakfasts are varied and very tasty
3. Thank you Deshan for wanting to help at any time of the day, great mood
4. The hotel is 2 minutes from the ocean, but I went to the beach further away, not far from the Marriott hotel
5. The beach is beautiful, a good place for surfing, lively, energetic, many cafes, shops, fresh fish and seafood are sold immediately on the beach, you can immediately ask to cook
6. This is not my first time in Sri Lanka, I like everything
Minus one - no one saw me off on the day of departure, I dragged my suitcase from the 3rd floor myself, I didn't have breakfast with me, although I warned in advance that I was leaving at 6 a.m. and Deshan promised to cook everything. The whole hotel was asleep, I just left the key on the counter and left.

A good hotel, not far from the ocean, but I went to the beach further away, there is a bigger beach, and shake up the breakfast))) they settled in quickly, even upgraded the category, for which I am very grateful. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied, if you need something, ask, they will be happy to help.
For me, there was one minus: they did not spend the day of departure, I dragged the suitcase myself from its 3rd floor, they did not prepare breakfast with me, although they promised to leave it. I just put the key on the counter and drove away. 🤷

It was at the beginning of 2022
Good location (away from the hustle and bustle), but in the center. The Wi-Fi was working more or less.
I didn't like it: There is no closet, only shelves. The walls are very thin, and I've heard how the couple next door is "spending the night." There was no TV, although there is one in the photo, I don't need it, but as a fact. The lights went out in the whole area for 2 hours, there is no generator in the hotel. As it is, the hotel is new and clean. Nice bathroom, the photos of the hotel match.
