Excellent hotel, very customer-oriented. Clean, comfortable, good breakfasts. I liked it. The conditional disadvantages include only the distance from the tram stop, 10 minutes on foot. All attractions such as Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Bazaar, Gulhane Park are within walking distance or several tram stops. We ordered a transfer from the hotel to the airport, and paid 45 euros. They also checked in earlier if there was a free room and were allowed to have breakfast. There is a terrace with a view of the Bosphorus, where breakfast is served and access to it throughout the day until midnight with the opportunity to drink tea and coffee for free. I definitely recommend it
The hotel is beautiful, 5 people went with the girls. The guys at the reception are always very nice and helpful, they will help and tell you if there is any problem. One of them is a Russian speaker and he helped us with the translation. We all checked into the room together, double beds and one with a 2nd floor. The shower and toilet are together, clean and cozy, towels were changed every day and the room was cleaned.
The hotel is small, so people didn't go in a bunch. 4 floors and 1 down in the building, on the top floor there is a track with an insanely beautiful view and a dining room. The food is super good, and a buffet with breakfasts for every taste is organized. The female cook was nice and always brought food if something was running out. The most important thing is the budget price for a room with breakfast included. I advise you to choose this hotel for a stopover.
The hotel was chosen based on its proximity to the historical center, plus a rooftop terrace next to the restaurant, overlooking the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. It wasn't very close, because Istanbul is a huge city, but it's still the best area for sightseeing. There is a tram line nearby that connects to the metro and other areas. Very stylish hotel, excellent staff, delicious breakfasts, fruits, and pastries. Unusual grilled olives. Late-night coffee and tea are free on the terrace. The historic Kadirga hammam is nearby. If I come again, I would stay there.
We rested for 7 days. The room was on the second floor. The room itself is small, but clean enough. Towels will always be changed and cleaned upon request. Buffet-style breakfasts are satisfying and healthy, but there is not enough variety, and fruit portions are not always replenished if they run out. Considering the prices in the neighboring coffee shops and the quality of service there, it is the best decision to choose a hotel with breakfast. There is a private terrace on the 4th floor where you can always drink tea and coffee. Valuables were forgotten at the check-out - the hotel staff responsibly helped with the return.
It's not a direct disadvantage, but it needs to be taken into account. The hotel is located in the old town (corresponding to the local flavor) and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to public transport and attractions along a cobblestone hill, which in some places is quite steep.
Wonderful hotel, we had a rest with a girl for a week. Lovely and courteous staff, receptionists, cooks, and cleaners. Breakfast is good, there is a very large selection of food in the morning: starting from cucumbers, tomatoes, cereals, potatoes, omelets, boiled eggs, etc. and ending with a coffee machine and delicious pomegranate juice. They clean every day, the rooms are cozy, it's warm in winter, everything is neat in the bathroom, nothing leaks, there is a heated towel rail, the view from the room is beautiful. Every day they were allowed to take a friend out to the terrace for tea in the evening. Beautiful view from the terrace! When booking, we wrote to the post office to find out if everything is fine, what time we arrive. The hotel has only positive impressions! I recommend it, as I chose it very carefully based on reviews.
A very pleasant, small hotel.Clean, well-groomed, with an oriental flavor. The breakfasts are delicious, and there are plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits.
From the window you can see the sea, we lived in 401 rooms.
The Wi-Fi is fast, the room is clean, cleaning is done every day, I recommend it to travelers!
Overall, the hotel is good, chosen based on reviews and location, expectations are justified. The dining room where breakfast is served is very small, there were not enough places in bad weather. The front door to the hotel is opened from the inside only by the receptionist and if he went to the hotel not to get in, they waited for a maximum of 5 minutes, but it's still strange. It is a 10-minute walk to the Blue Mosque, 20 minutes to the Grand Bazaar, the metro is far away, the tram is at the blue Mosque. The terrace is cool, but only for good weather, it does not protect from wind or rain.
Great hotel. It's worth the money they're asking for. Small, cozy. The room is clean and cozy. The bed and towels were changed every day. The breakfasts were hearty, without frills, but delicious. The breakfast terrace overlooks the Bosphorus. All attractions are within walking distance. The doors of the hotel overlook the park. It's a very cozy place
A wonderful hotel. The view is stunning of the Marmara Sea with a rooftop terrace. The breakfasts are delicious there. the hotel is in a historical style. The only thing is not very. These guys at the reception don't speak Russian. But with the translator, we understood each other. I recommend.
Excellent hotel, the location is simply the best, the breakfasts are delicious, daily cleaning, no intrusive service, the view on the terrace is gorgeous, you can drink tea and coffee until 23 for free, there are few rooms/ book in advance
The hotel is wonderful: the rooms are clean, the bed linen and towels are clean, they smell fresh, delicious breakfasts are served on the terrace, you can also drink tea or coffee on the terrace at any time, good-natured young people at the reception.
We stayed at the hotel in February 2025. The hotel is located near the waterfront. The room is simple, but warm and clean. Cleaning every day, all plumbing was working properly. Excellent Turkish breakfasts, quite varied. The sea view is magnificent. The staff is friendly and courteous. A decent hotel
Great hotel, Clean, cozy...Great location and views...Most of all, the breakfast terrace with a beautiful view of the sea is captivating! The breakfasts are delicious. The staff is very polite and friendly.
The hotel is nice. We had a room with a view of the Bosphorus. The street is quiet. Nearby attractions. The breakfasts are simple but delicious. We spent 7 nights with my husband. The room was warm. There is a terrace, but it was cold for breakfast. You can drink coffee and tea as much as you want.
Excellent location, on the one hand 10-15 minutes walk to the tram and the main attractions in the old town, on the other hand complete silence and a minimum of people.
The hotel is perfectly clean, has a wonderful and varied breakfast, and the staff is very attentive and helpful.
Let's return to Istanbul, definitely to Saruhan.
I definitely recommend it! 👍
A gorgeous, very cool hotel! The atmosphere inside is great! The breakfast is simply awesome, and the views from the veranda are very beautiful! All attractions are within walking distance. I recommend 10/10!
A wonderful hotel, a magnificent view from the terrace to the Bosphorus, we found the hotel by chance, really liked the location and immediately moved into it from another hotel, did not book, a wonderful room with a view of the park and fountain..
A wonderful hotel! Excellent breakfasts, terrace with sea view. Polite staff, clean, cozy. We had a rest in March 2025, and we really enjoyed it. Thanks!
We had a rest with our granddaughter at the hotel in November. Great hotel. The staff is polite and helpful. Historical monuments are not far away. The room is very cozy. I was pleased with the 24-hour cafe on the top floor of the hotel.
A small, cozy hotel. Delicious breakfasts, you can eat on the veranda, admiring the city. At any time of the day, you can use the coffee machine and enjoy delicious coffee. Good location, close to (within walking distance) the main attractions of the city, as well as public transport stops. The rooms are clean, cleaned and towels are changed daily. Friendly staff, always ready to help.
We stayed in October 2023. A great hotel to stay for a few days for walking around Istanbul. Incredibly responsive staff, English-speaking. For any questions, we are ready to help, prompt. You can order a taxi from the hotel to the airport at a fixed price (they do not meet you from the airport). Booked through Booking, the staff promptly answers all your questions. The breakfasts are good, you won't be hungry, but without frills (tea, coffee, water, bread, cheese, butter, various sauces, olives, fruits, dried fruits, sweets, eggs, sausages, vegetables). The rooms are small (we had room 303), but everything you need is there, clean, cleaning was every day. Our room had windows on the courtyard, at first we thought to change it, in the end it did not work out, since there were no available rooms, but we did not regret it. On the top floor of the hotel there is a wonderful terrace with an incredible view of the Marmara Sea, breakfast is served here. The terrace is open until 1 am, free tea/coffee, a cozy atmosphere and stunning sunsets are available. Free good wifi at the hotel. There is an elevator. The entire historical center of Istanbul and the tram stop are within walking distance.
We lived for 2 days. It is located under a mountain - it is very difficult to walk (climb), especially with things!
I read reviews that I really liked the location of the hotel - it's not very clear to me, there is much closer to the tram, but it's really on foot to the historical center itself. We got lost several times in the evening. I didn't like the area. The sea view is wonderful, the breakfasts are good, you can drink coffee/tea in the shared access.but in general, I did not like the hotel. We went to the Princes' Islands, we couldn't dry the swimsuit.
Going down a very steep hill with things
I have already written that the fire alarm system is inoperable for show. The hotel is very clean, but the wind blows from the windows and the food is mostly sweet and snacks, meat eaters are definitely not here.
Everything that is written below in the reviews is correct. Clean, cozy, great staff, views, location... One point is very important - if you plan to move around the city by public transport, they sell travel cards at the reception, we did not know and stomped around the city on foot to the corns. There is a girl Anna, she is Russian-speaking, she will tell you everything, prompt, direct.
I always stay at this place. Excellent location, to attractions, shops, bus stops. There are several playgrounds nearby. The hotel is cozy and beautiful. Delicious breakfasts. The room is cleaned every day.. You can have coffee on the terrace overlooking the Marmara Sea. Thanks to the staff for the comfort!!! I definitely recommend it!!!
Quite a cozy little hotel, if you walk early for breakfast, then there is quite a sufficient choice with a magnificent view of the Bosphorus. The main thing is not to leave the plates unattended, otherwise the albatrosses are not asleep. Every other time, the payment with the Union Pay card is triggered. Attractions are within walking distance. There are enough cafes nearby for almost every taste, there is also a budget dining room. I recommend.
From June 1 to June 6, 2023, we stayed at this hotel. The hotel is in the Old Town, 10 min walking distance to Sultanahmet Square. The hotel is small, not new, but very cozy. The staff is friendly. I would also like to mention the breakfast terrace with a view of the Bosphorus. You can also just sit and drink tea and coffee during the day. We are happy with the hotel. Thanks to the staff
We stayed for 3 nights in Sarukhan beginning of February 24, the price and quality are consistent, the breakfasts are excellent for 3 stars. If you are not stuck with Muscovites, then I recommend
An excellent hotel for the price and quality of service. Good breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff. nice rooms with a comfortable bed and clean linen.
The location is within walking distance from the historical center. Sea view. In general, I really liked it. I recommend it to everyone, you will not regret it.
A great cozy hotel with normal NON-French balconies on a quiet street.7 min along the beautiful streets to the left and you are in the center! To the right, the shopping malls are very crowded, noisy - If you turn right and walk through a small park you will find supermarkets with everything you need. The hotel has a good coffee machine.Excellent staff!!!
Clean, good breakfast, nice room, polite staff, sea view, but there's not much to see there. It's a twelve-minute walk to the center, though mostly uphill. Five minutes to the convenience store where you can buy a snack. There are a couple of inexpensive cafes nearby, clean to eat without pathos.
