We rented a large house with our family from January 19, 2024 for a month for 45,000 baht, taking into account that there will be a kitchen equipped with appliances and everything else at a decent level. As a result, the house initially did not even have a microwave oven, a kettle and a broom - all this was heard within a week; the gas stove was single-burner, and from the dishes there were only a few assorted plates and glasses, there was not even a knife (we had to buy everything ourselves) - we did not see this even in the cheapest bungalows)) But this is all nonsense compared to the fact that one of the toilets gave out such a terrible pungent smell of sewage that it spread throughout the house (and even beyond), it became impossible to live and sleep in it (by the way, in addition to the smell from the toilet, it is characteristic of the elephant farm, which is located very close). A manager from Romania named Alin Aelenei promised to fix the situation all the time, but in 2 weeks he did not fix anything. On top of that, we were robbed - about 25,000 baht was stolen from the house, most likely the cleaner did it (and all the employees of the "hotel" agreed with this, if you can call it that). By the way, there was no safe in the house either. In general, in this "hotel" there is no concept of service as such, for 2 weeks we not only did not fix the situation with the toilet, but also never changed the linen, did not fix the broken front door, which did not close, did not clean every 3 days, the Internet was constantly cut off, did not hang a curtain on the window and and so on - we have not seen such a nightmarish attitude anywhere in Thailand, where we have been traveling constantly since 2011. The culmination of the whole nightmare in this place was that the manager actually starved us and because we could no longer stand the terrible stench, we expressed our complaints to the staff, who just smiled at all the problems and did nothing, and said that if they did not fix the toilet, we would move out. The manager was just waiting for these words – it was easier for him to part with us than to fix the situation. In fact, because of this, the manager put our family out on the street, hysterically told us to get out, otherwise he would evict us with the help of the police and we would have problems. I was surprised that despite the status of the "hotel" (I don't just put this concept in quotation marks), the manager considers this place "his apartment" and his answer to my question why we should get out of the "hotel", which we fully paid for, he replied that it was his property and he doesn't want to see us here, that he has principles – he was kind of very offended that staff finally had reasonable claims, which had been brewing for a long time. Probably one of his principles is to throw a family with young children out on the street. Although we asked him not to do this until we found another place to live (we really wanted to move out ourselves, but we had to understand where), but he said that this was not his problem and he did not care. In general, this terrible place brought us a huge moral trauma, loss of time and a lot of money, thanks to the manager Alin and his entire team, our vacation was ruined. There is a lot of suffering due to the incompetence and bitterness of the Romanian manager, who, in fact, rented a place from the Thais and retakes it with a margin, without bringing anything useful - only a complete lack of service and humanity. We do not recommend this creepy place to anyone, take care of your nerves and health. To confirm my words, I am attaching our correspondence.
PS: after the publication of this review, Alin's manager sent me screenshots in the whats app with an article that some person in Thailand was imprisoned for bad reviews of the hotel. I asked him not to scare me, because there is no slander in my review and only reliable facts confirmed by correspondence and photo/video materials. I have nothing to be afraid of. In general, the fact that the manager is afraid of the truth in the form of reviews and sends "threats of prison" says a lot, instead of apologizing and at least trying to make amends for the situation. Does he not think that actually expelling a family with young children to hell in nowhere is a real crime, intentionally leaving people in danger, in a situation that threatens their life and health?
Not very friendly hosts. The hostess begins to be rude as soon as something is wrong with her. She did not help with the departure, but on the contrary shouted that there were too many suitcases, although the transport was not ordered through her. She did not side with us, but sided with the carrier, although we were ready to pay for the 3rd place and immediately said so.
The hotel is very modest, only if you want to save money on housing.
