We rested in the sanatorium from September 29 to October 13, 2024. Great vacation. I really liked it. The sanatorium is old, Gagarin rested here, the furniture of Soviet times has been preserved. The rooms are only renovated, there is everything you need, new. Luxury beds and mattresses, bed linen. The room has a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, hair dryer. The sanatorium is in a state of repair, the territory is being equipped, but this did not prevent us from resting. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea, it doesn't bother at all, the road to the sea is very picturesque. In general, the location of the sanatorium is very good, near a shopping center, a market within walking distance, many small shops, a pharmacy. The staff is very sincere and helpful, always ready to help. There are medical treatments at reasonable prices. I liked the food very much, everything is delicious and varied at home, everything is always fresh and hot. We would like to express special thanks to the administrator Marina, a wonderful, sincere, passionate person, many thanks to her and a low bow. I will be happy to come back here again. I recommend it!!!

We had a rest with friends in September 2023, we were lucky, they gave us a room after renovation, clean, spacious, everything is new, beds, linen. The food was delicious, and sometimes our wishes regarding some dishes were fulfilled. Thanks to the chefs! The hotel staff is attentive, they respond to all requests and wishes! A great place for people of age who are not demanding of "newfangled" comfort. Far from the noise of discos, you can take a walk in the mountains. The sea is 10-15 minutes away. The building is a masterpiece of Soviet architecture: excellent rooms with thick walls and large balconies. Spacious halls with preserved parquet floors, and generally a lot of light and space. It is a pity that it has not been fully restored yet. The territory is in a state of post-war devastation and repair. Excellent food, friendly staff. If you understand the recently begun recovery process, you can relax perfectly, calmly and not expensively.

I liked the sanatorium for its silence and comfort. I was on vacation with my grandson. You can't think of a better holiday! Everything is brand new in the room, the room is spacious, a large loggia. The room has a TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, table, several comfortable bedside tables, large comfortable beds with excellent mattresses, stools, a huge wardrobe. The bathroom is very comfortable. The service deserves special praise. We stayed for a week. Every day the room is cleaned, consumables are updated. Towels were replaced during our stay. All the linen is snow-white and ironed. The quality of tap water is the highest: it tastes like spring water. They have never seen anyone drunk on the territory, but just tipsy. On vacation with children, this is very important. The sea is visible from the balcony. There are free sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the sea. There is a large shopping mall across the street. I was surprised and pleased that the managers and those.the staff was constantly interested in the quality of cleaning, the availability of equipment and appliances in the room, and the quality of food. The sanatorium employs masters of their craft, very sincere and friendly people. For example, Marina's manager always greets everyone in the dining room, always helps with any questions, lifts the mood with a smile and a special cheerful energy. In general, all the girls are very beautiful, smiling and caring. We will come more than once and advise everyone.

We rested from 27. 07. 24 to 5. 08. 24. The territory, of course, is unkempt only under repair. Well, it doesn't interfere with rest. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The toilet is excellent, there is a hairdryer, but there is not enough mirror.The air conditioner is working. Great balcony with sea view. The food in the dining room is varied and the buffet is very tasty. The administrator Marina is a sincere and pleasant person, she will always meet and spend time with a smile. Watermelons , pears , apples , plums, nectarines are made from fruits. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea, taking your time at a calm pace.

We rested from 05.09-09/15/24, the first impression was not very good, starting from the appearance, the hall, the unfriendly girl at the reception, we arrived tired at 12.30, checked in at exactly 14.00, but to our surprise, we went up to the dining room for the first lunch, we were greeted by the friendly administrator Nadezhda, and then finally checked into the room and he also pleasantly surprised us🤠
In general, everything is not bad, the food is good, the rooms are spacious with air conditioning, we enjoyed nature and the sea.
Of the cons, there is no kettle in the room, it seems that you can make an appointment at the reception to receive a kettle, we solved this problem easier, there is a shopping center across the street- we bought a kettle for 900 rubles.
And one more nuance, the transvert did not pick us up on the day of departure, somehow we did not see them, but they did, and at the reception, as it turned out, they did not tell us that there was information on the time at which they arrived. As I understood it in the evening, the tour operator throws off information to the hotel and this piece of paper lies at the reception, so for the record!

The food, of course, is not Turkey, but it is very tasty and homemade👍 A huge number of all kinds of physio procedures at a very reasonable price! I don't like the USSR, next to the Amra hydrotherapy, where the same procedures, but more modern equipment and the price are multiplied by three Of the shortcomings: we were late for dinner when we arrived, we could have left at least a couple of sandwiches (flight and transfer took 8 hours). We got to this hotel by fortune (never try such a tour in your life!) from August 9th to 19th. I must say right away, I go every year only to our south and am not fastidious in my vacation. So....
The sea. About 2km, across the railway road and two highways. It's still normal to go there, back a little uphill, it's hard there are no words. Sun beds and umbrellas are free on the beach from the hotel Abkhazia (agreement). The shore is pebbly, there is nothing to do there without special rubber slippers. Ordinary slates won't help. Overweight people, people with disabilities and with sore legs, you can't even go in there in slippers, you can't get out, your feet are buried in knee-deep rocks by waves, you had to climb out with cancer.... The most terrible shore that I have ever seen in my life. If there is no storm, the water is clean and warm. But if it's stormy, everything floats, from steers to shit and dead birds. There is no shower, no toilet (there are about 20 meters from the beach, entrance is 30p). There are 2 changing rooms, which are watched from above by a local onanist. Annoying gypsies with moronic little girls day in and day out are also annoying.
Sanatorium. Pros - renovation in the rooms (air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, new beds, clean bed linen), always hot water, normal pressure, Wi-Fi catches well everywhere. Cons - cockroaches, the eternal stench of dichlophos, mosquitoes, broken windows in the corridors, open hatches in the territory, pits. It's not safe with young children. And there is no playground (declared everywhere on the sites)! Noise from the highway, from trains. A tall staircase from the street, you'll die before you get up. The elevator often does not work. They turn off the lights. In 10 days, neither bed linen nor towels were changed (I left a request more than once). I have been asking for clean towels for the last 5 days, but it was useless. As a result, on the last day she went to look for a cleaner and begged for clean towels.
The food is the same type. Soup only with cereals. You will never see cabbage soup or borscht there. Chicken is often smelly. The sauce is always sour. We didn't eat much there. The rotovirus is just from the dining room. Dishes are washed with their hands, not washed, often with leftovers of food and water, that's right fuuu!
There are mountains of garbage, shit, vomit on the streets, a lot of stray animals, complete unsanitary conditions! Everyone has rotavirus!
Non-compliance with traffic rules not only by local residents, but also by visitors. To cross the road on a pedestrian, you have to try very hard, just like that no one will miss you, they will also beep!
There is a shopping mall across the street. In the pharmacy there they sold an open medicine (I already saw it in the room), apparently formacevt himself treated his rotovirus ...
In general, I was here for the first and last time, savdep-devastation-unsanitary conditions! Photos and videos are not sent, there is nothing to watch there. Thanks to the administrator Marina from the dining room (thanks for the crackers). The most responsive and kind person from the entire sanatorium.

We have been going there for several years now. The sanatorium itself is old, but not bad. On the 2nd floor there is the IVA Hotel, a wonderful, friendly and friendly manager. The prices are very attractive. The rooms are good, much better than in the Sanaa sanatorium itself. I highly recommend it!!!

The hotel is terrible, and I wouldn't call this place a hotel either. The rooms are renovated, but the bathtub is sedentary, which is very inconvenient, there is no curtain, there is a hair dryer, shower gels, shampoos, soap are all given out.
A shabby entrance, broken stairs, an abandoned, unkempt area. A very unpleasant receptionist. How do I get to the beach? Go through the railway and on, and that's it! What kind of railway?! Where is she anyway? I asked to clarify, in response, the same incomprehensible instruction. As a result, we found it ourselves, but the road is very unpleasant, and when you walk back in the dark there is no lighting, as a result I fell very hard, I still limp.
The elevators are probably from the eighties, and they work accordingly, very rarely, several times I even went where I wanted to go. And the dining room on the sixth floor for a minute! It is also unclear why.
Canteen: We ate there four times, I shouldn't have taken everything included. When the child had rotovirus (I had not encountered it before, and I was scared), they did not even give me a spoon in the room for medicine, they growled at me in the dining room, I was shocked. We rested from 08/23/24 to 30.08.24.

The appearance and places of common residence (reception, halls, dining room, elevators, the area around) are the most terrible, you can make films about the post-apocalypse without decorations. Yes, the rooms are being renovated now and everything is clean and new there. But many rooms have a huge pitfall - the interior door to the next room! Yes, yes! The most ordinary thin interior door with gaps under it! The audibility is enormous, even to the point that a person unscrews the lid on a water bottle, and you hear it in the next room, not to mention conversations and other sounds. In a good way, these rooms are designed for large families, but when they close the door, they are rented out as standard.
There are no questions about nutrition at all! There is no super abundance, but everything is very tasty and varied.
Another strange feature is that they do not give out body towels! They are given out for hands and feet, but not for the body 🤷♀️
The balconies are large, they are just conducive to sitting there, watching the sunset, but there is nothing to sit on! There are no chairs, no table! Just like there is no clothes dryer! We bought a rope ourselves and stretched it on the balcony, since there is a large supermarket opposite. I don't know if they will ever put everything in order with their natural laziness and unhurriedness, but if they bring it to mind, it may turn out to be quite a decent place to relax.

The sanatorium is old, worn out but working, with it sulfur baths for anyone also in disrepair, but for a session 250 rubles from neighbors with repairs 600 rubles in the sanatorium itself there is a Willow hotel where you can stay with a dog!! It is difficult to find a place with an animal in Abkhazia, keep in mind that it may be stated that it is possible but in the end they will not be allowed so I thank these guys for the reception and even a modest but cozy and clean environment, plus you can sign up for massage and any other rehabilitation doctors are attentive adult aunts

We rested in the Sanaa sanatorium from 30.08 to 07.09, lived in room 318 (two-room room). Before buying a tour, I carefully read the reviews of vacationers and understood what you need to be prepared for.
The first thing that was important to me personally was that the rooms were renovated, everything was clean, the mattresses and pillows were good.
The second is nutrition. Which also turned out to be quite decent, without frills, but quite enough.
The third is the price of this hotel.
Gentlemen, do not hope for three kopecks, relax like in a hotel
5 stars for ultra all inclusive. There were three of us adults, we turned a blind eye to the unkemptness of the territory, since we know Gagra well and had a great time outside the hotel. I would not advise families with children and young people to come here.
The hotel staff is attentive, they responded to all requests. Many thanks to the canteen administrator Marina and all the canteen staff. They are great fellows, they are trying very hard!!!
I want to thank the maid Kamila and the second girl (I don't know her name). We helped with everything we could. Soap, shampoo, gel, toilet paper were replenished every day, there was no electric kettle in the room, we were given it on the second day. Well done girls!
Thanks to the girl at the reception, Amina, our wishes were listened to and fulfilled by the number.
For information, I want to list what is in the room.
TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, electric kettle are provided on demand, towels, soap, gel, shampoo, hair dryer, toilet paper, 1.5 liter bottle of water without gas upon arrival.
We did not reach the sea at a brisk pace in 10 minutes, who writes 2 km, complete nonsense, apparently they do not understand what distance 2 km is. Yes, it is necessary to cross the road, the railway tracks (there is only one, on which practically no trains run), and then along a wide street to the sea. Regarding rotovirus, this does not apply to the dining room in any way. Rotovirus has always been present in Abkhazia, especially in Gagra. The first time we were there was in 2007 and so far everything has remained the same. This is a problem of the entire coast from Tuapse and including Abkhazia.
We went on vacation in a good mood, with a positive attitude. We had a great rest, swam in the warm sea, visited different places. Our vacation was 100% successful.

My friend and I are currently resting in this sanatorium. I will not advise anyone. No one met us when we arrived. We were quickly issued at the reception, handed the cards and then get there yourself. The elevator works every other time. In four days, the water was turned off twice, and the light was turned off once. An unfriendly girl is sitting at the reception desk. For not asking, one answer is, "I do not know." We wanted to sign up for physiotherapy, but we didn't find anyone. Nutrition: the assortment is meager, monotonous, not tasty, everything is always cold. The territory is not well maintained at all, in disrepair. The entrance group of the sanatorium looks as if it has been prepared for demolition. The only plus is that the rooms have been renovated. It's a long way to the sea, the road passes through a railway and thickets.

We went to this sanatorium with caution, because outwardly it is clearly an uninhabited building. But all rooms are well renovated, new beds, mattresses and pillows. The room has a TV with a large number of channels, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, air conditioning. I was surprised by the excellent quality of Wi-Fi in the room. I had a rest in this boarding house from 08/26/2024 to 09/04/2024. I took a ticket with an early transfer, it turned out. that I paid extra in vain, since the transfer at the Biblio Globus company has not worked out anything. the plane landed at 04:30 and the transfer was served at 06:00, it turned out that we overslept. The boarding house itself was brought at 08:00 and check-in at 14:00 things are not thought out, there is no luggage storage in this boarding house and early check-in is not provided. As a result, I had to work for up to 14 hours. that the rest has already been overshadowed. The rooms have been renovated. I changed the linen with my own hands, as the staff has no time to do this. The boarding house itself is located on the third coastline.As for the food, I'm just delighted with the buffet, the food is varied, several types of salads, the second one. And most importantly, the cherry on the cake is the administrator Marina. Whatever the negativity after coming to the dining room, just seeing this person is just pleasing to the eye. A friendly, positive person. She is sociable and friendly . As for the return transfer, this is also a separate story. Departure from the boarding house at 12:00 and transfer at 12:45 as a result, I was an hour late.

To the sea (we found a short way) - 10 minutes.
And how they feed is a Bomb! Buffet, the choice is huge. I really wanted to try everything. But it didn't work out🥲 The girls in the dining room are smart! Needlewomen! Marina is a very friendly and friendly receptionist. Thank you so much for your hard work! Thank you very much to the reception staff - attentive, friendly, restrained in any situation ☺️

The sanatorium is generally not bad, but the building and the surrounding area need repair and maintenance. Of the minuses, there are also huge hordes of mosquitoes, from which it is impossible to escape by any means - a raptor plugged into an outlet around the clock, mosquito spray applied to the whole body, even cloves scattered in jars - did not help!!! The next morning we woke up with a lot of bites.
At the same time, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff of the sanatorium. Responsive and conscientious employees work there.

TERRIBLE CONDITIONS In THIS SANATORIUM, if of course it can be called that, the employee who works here is called like Zina, boorish and habalka, (appearance with dark hair short haircut) elementary approach her with a question of interest to you, she does not what does not give an answer, she also yells at you as if you owe them something, the elevators do not work, Wi-Fi does not work on the 5th floor, and if it works only on the balcony, I lowered my luggage myself in my arms, who has economy class in the room (there is no air conditioning and refrigerator)
Cockroaches are running around, I noticed a bat on the 5th floor! I'm attaching a photo, it's a pity you can't leave a video!
Complete unsanitary conditions throughout the room, for such money it is better to rent a " sunny boarding house ", although far from the city, but much better!

In the 10 days that I have been here, towels have not been changed once, the room was cleaned only twice, and then I had to run for the cleaner to clean my room!

I rested in this sanatorium, if you don't know what year it is, you might think that in the Soviet Union the rooms are relatively clean, with a balcony, air conditioning, shower, toilet. A very good and balanced diet, a glass of red wine was given for lunch.Very tasty, fragrant Abkhazian bread, I have not tasted this anywhere else. price/quality as they say😉

The Sanaa hotel, yes it's old but it's cool, I lived alone in a room on the 5th floor, the dining room on the 6th floor, the staff is very friendly, the food is good and varied, there is a balcony in each room, I rested in early September. We booked a room at the IVA hotel, which is located on the second floor of this sanatorium, and does not differ in any way from the general sanatorium. No one will meet you at check-in, and you will be kicked out of the room for the truth that the photos are different from reality. We can say that the hotel is super-economical, but for no money can you move your guests into rooms completely covered with mold: the air conditioner inside is moldy black, the wallpaper is in pieces, they keep on their word of honor and scotch tape, there is also black mold under the wallpaper. The Soviet Union has been preserved inside the sanatorium, not a single detail has been replaced, the smell is appropriate (it smells like in a morgue).
