The hotel is super! The staff is polite, you can come spend the night, I think in a place where everything is very interesting, this is the main criterion that it must meet.
The location is excellent, on the beach. The breakfast buffet is quite good food, even for those who like to eat a lot. I did not like living in a bungalow, it was cramped, one bed for 2 people, a constant blockage in the sink and poorly cleaned room. There was also a conflict with the Germans, who attacked all the sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach and did not want to share it with us.
We had a rest in February 2020. Overall, the hotel left a pleasant impression. I am writing everything real that I have experienced for myself. It might come in handy. We lived in the main building on the 2nd floor overlooking a green garden with birds and butterflies. We woke up in the morning to the sound of birds singing.
I could hear the road a little from the side of the front door. The hotel itself is very old. Our room was completely tired with the smell of dampness and mold, weathered after 3 days. The shower worked, but there was no partition. As it broke, so it remains)
There is a river nearby and there are monitor lizards in it, it was very interesting to watch them. Mosquitoes are also found. In the evening, do not sit on the balcony without biting. I advise you to take something from mosquitoes or buy it there. We bought a spiral and every evening we performed a ritual in the room and on the balcony to get rid of mosquitoes.))
The territory is small, cozy and green. Breakfasts by the sea are common. We didn't stay hungry)
The beach is nice, wide with shade from magnolias and sun loungers. Sometimes it brought mud and mud. The water was not clear for a day, probably because of the sand and waves. But if you sail away, the water is wonderful. And we also went around the beaches in the neighborhood, liked Ban Lamai, a small cozy place with very beautiful and clean water.
Although they claim that the hotel is quiet, this is not entirely true. Next door, a night market arrives across the river and before 23.00 you will hardly fall asleep to concerts and slow-motion)
There is everything for recreation and everyday life around. Lots of shops, cafes, massage parlors.
For a basic budget, tasty and satisfying meal, we recommend a cafe across the street, as you leave the hotel to the right and along the river a little deeper into the "fai restorant" (if I'm not mistaken in the name) 'we called him "U Fai")). There are always Europeans with Thais sitting there. There are only 4 tables, but you can eat for two for 250 baht to the full and delicious!
Have a nice stay!
