We had a rest in September 2023, of the advantages - the bed linen is clean, close to the sea, very friendly hostess Nelly, will always help and tell you - that's all. Of the minuses, the ceiling light in the room was broken, there were stains on the walls, our addition. the place is a cot on which it was not possible to sleep at all (they asked to replace it, but they did not replace it), lags constantly broke and flew out. The courtyard area is used as a parking lot, which is understandable - there is absolutely nothing to do without a car, you have to go to shops and other things, walk to Pitsunda itself either along the highway for 30 minutes (which is very dangerous) or along the beach (which is very difficult). The beach is wild nearby, there are almost no people (which can be attributed to the advantages), but it is not cleaned at all. There is a summer kitchen, a 2-piece comfortable tile that sooooo does not work well. The kitchen is dirty and no one cleans it from the word at all. We promised to make repairs in the summer kitchen, I really hope they will. In short, draw conclusions, I hope that at least cosmetic repairs will be done this year.

Our family really enjoyed relaxing at the Boxwood Guest House.Wonderful hospitable hosts,nice rooms,delicious food,well-maintained courtyard,2 minutes to the sea.A great option for a relaxing family vacation.For Our family, Boxwood is a place where you want to return, And we will definitely return))

The sea is very clean in a 4-minute walk, the beach is deserted, on the shore of a pine tree, even in the sultry lunchtime it is not hot under them, a very good hostess will always help, attentive. Cozy rooms are all necessary, the territory is large, delicious food is prepared in the cafe at the hotel. We have been coming here for 5 years.

A friendly hostess. A relaxed atmosphere. A sense of security. A very close beach with pine trees. On the beach in September, the distance between people is 50-100 meters. There is a cafe with quality food nearby. The shops. Pitsunda can be reached by minibus in 5 minutes. Or walk along the beach. 20 minutes. We came a second time.

We had a rest in August. I liked everything very much. Very hospitable hosts. Any issue was resolved immediately. The sea is a 2-minute walk from the guest house. There is a cafe on site where they cook very tasty food.

Hello everyone,
this is the second time we stayed at the Boxwood Guest House.
Last year, we went on vacation together with my husband. We stopped in Pitsunda for 3 days and then went on to Sukhum. I liked the location of the houses. the beach is 200 meters away, the beach is beautiful with pine trees, the sea is clean, according to our assessment, the cleanest sea in Abkhazia is in Pitsunda. the room is comfortable, fresh linen and towels. there is a double bed and there is also a single bed - it is possible with a child. The hostess Nelly is very pleasant and helpful.
This year we went on vacation with her husband and parents. We chose Pitsunda for our vacation, and stayed in Boxwood for a week. we didn't even look at other options) we were very happy with our choice, everyone was comfortable. the parents appreciated the proximity of the sea and the cozy terrace. We didn't want to go to cafes in the evenings. we sat on the terrace and had dinner with the family, because there is a barbecue and the opportunity to cook a barbecue 👍🏼
for those who prefer a calm, measured family vacation without noisy parties around and unnecessary fuss - a recommendation
