Just a great hotel, the staff is friendly and welcoming. The bar serves expensive and high-quality alcohol. They feed here every day like a restaurant (we really did not go to restaurants in the marina, since the cuisine in the hotel was at the same level (kebabs, lamb kebab, desserts - all on a solid five). I don't like going to the same places at all, but I want to come back here
I was at the hotel from June 23 to June 30, 2024. The staff is excellent, there is a lot of food and it is delicious, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, ice cream, drinks, sweets, for breakfast and milk and eggs. Not greasy, the meat was so great in general. Everything is fresh. I had an ultra all. Pool bars opened from 10, and a fruit and ice cream tent from 11. I took both cocktails and fruits. You definitely won't stay hungry. The lobby bar is open 24 hours a day. The reception is very nice. The hotel stands on levels, our room overlooks the garden and led us like into a Slytherin dungeon, but there was no dampness. from the balcony there is a view of the garden to the bushes, it was very quiet. We went down like 4 floors from the reception. The hotel is large, with many different rooms and as separate mini townhouses. Very beautiful, blue and white, flowering bushes and trees. Ferries entered the port and it was perfectly visible from the hotel, there were many panoramic platforms. The beach is your own, the sand, the fish swim, you walk up to your waist but then deeper. The sun beds were always free, there were no problems. Events were held by the pool, and small music and dance concerts were held in the evening. Dinner is until 21-30, which is great. There is a pier nearby and a sea minibus runs for $ 3 or 100 liras. Swim to the center in 7 minutes. Or walk from the hill to the city in 17-20 minutes. There weren't many people. The room was given to 3 people (there were 2 of us), two beds and one small one, apparently for a child. refrigerator with drinks, all inclusive. the air conditioner was working, TV, an armchair, a long table top with lockers and a mirror and a sofa. A hallway with a large closet and a safe, nothing was stolen. The bathroom was nice with a bathtub, not a shower stall. everything is clean, ventilation. There was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, a hat on my head, cotton swabs and discs, soap (there were no brushes and pastes), slippers. The curtains were as many as 3 pieces - tulle, the curtain itself and the blackout curtain. Now from the mini cons. The rooms have thick blue-green carpets - they should be vacuumed more often. It would also not hurt to wipe the floors on the balcony (there were 2 chairs and a table) - everything is dusty. By the way, there was a rope on the balcony for drying clothes and we also hung everything on the handrail. And the biggest disadvantage was the huge cockroaches. I must say right away that the kitchen is very far from us through the corridors and stairs. One of them fell from somewhere above right in the shower - we locked him in the bathroom and went to look for someone who would kill him - he was thick, dense and big. The cleaning lady saved us. They began to close the bathroom door. it is unclear where he came from because the balcony is constantly closed due to the operation of the air conditioner and it was not opened, perhaps he hid from the hood in the bathroom. Another friend was seen on the balcony and there he died from the heat, it is strange that he did not crawl up the wall into the garden (the partition was high glass). But it didn't stop us in any way. The rest was a success.
We had a vacation in Bodrum for the first time this fall. When choosing a hotel, there were many criteria and our travel agent offered us the Salmakis Resort & Spa hotel. I was impressed by the photos of the hotel and as it turned out, everything was exactly as in the photo.
The hotel offers scenic views of the bay and the old town with a fortress. We were very satisfied.
According to the hotel: The only negative was at the very beginning of the arrival, but then everything was sorted out.
Initially, we were accommodated in a room on the 1st floor, next to the pool and in proximity to the restaurant/bar. But immediately upon entering, we realized that we would be moving to another room. The room smelled eerily damp and the bathroom was absolutely in disrepair. We were offered to stay in this room for the night because there were no available rooms, and in the morning we were shown another one in the main building. And we moved in (without extra charges). We were completely satisfied with the room - quiet, overlooking the courtyard garden with blooming bougainvillea. By the way, the whole hotel is surrounded by the bright colors of this tree. And, of course, the snow-white hotel with blue and yellow domed roofs and ultra-blue stairs everywhere resembles Greek Santorini. Even the name of the hotel is associated with an ancient Greek myth.
The hotel is ideal for a photo shoot, there is a local photographer. Before leaving, we arranged a photo set as a keepsake))
Yes, this hotel is for a family-friendly, measured vacation. Without daytime animation and endless activities (this was a plus for us). Live music in the evening after dinner and a dance show a couple of times a week. For children there is a small playground, a playroom, but also without any special children's animation. One communal pool and a mini baby paddling pool.
A big plus is the hotel's beach (the water is moderate-just over a hundred meters deep, but with small children it is very convenient and safe).
In terms of the quality and variety of food in the hotel, absolutely everything was fine. At lunch and dinner, there were always several types of meat (for example, three types of lamb dishes, beef, that is, not a single chicken-turkey), two types of fish each. I'm a lover of olives - there were 8 types of them every day. There was porridge for breakfast a couple of times, if that's important to anyone (but since mostly locals and Europeans stay at the hotel, there aren't many Russians, the buffet is Turkish-European). The fruits are incredibly fragrant and sweet melon and ripe figs. And another feature at breakfast is honeycombs with honey.
One of the disadvantages is that there was no freshly squeezed juice in the UAI, but in our experience, not all luxury Turkish hotels have fresh juices for breakfast (it's clear that for an additional payment will be provided).
There is also a bar-restaurant for those who don't have enough buffet. This restaurant operates several times a week as a seafood a la carte. We went to dinner at this restaurant once and were absolutely delighted.
Another disadvantage is the large number of wasps on the terraces during breakfast/lunch.
We have already encountered such a "phenomenon" in a premium hotel in Greece. Waiters periodically put steaming coffee on to scare away the striped ones.
One of the advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the old town (you can take a taxi boat in 5 minutes. or walk 20-30 minutes. to the Castle of St.Peter). Also of the attractions within walking distance of the mill, which offers panoramic views).
Definitely, we would have come back here again.
We also liked the Bodrum Peninsula itself, although there was little time to explore it on foot. So we'll definitely be back.
The best hotel I've ever visited. On the "uai" tariff:
- Turkish hammam, hammam (steam), sauna, Jacuzzi, gym
- good quality alcohol (for example, Absolute vodka. It is served both in shots and mixed in cocktails)
- a great buffet. I have never tasted such delicious beef and such tender lamb in any of the countries
- very polite staff, helps with any problem (and helps to surprise a friend's birthday, for example. They set the table, bring out fountains with a cake on the birthday)
- a private beach, a bar near the beach, sun loungers are on the grass. The sea is gorgeous, a little to the left there will be no algae at all. There is a pier where you can lie down
- excellent beds, albeit slightly old plumbing. Three in a room: three beds, two of which are connected into one, but you can ask them to spread)
- DJ focuses on vacationers, includes more often what they sing along to or dance to
- I didn't like the Turkish dance show so much, rather the usual level
- the snack bar is very good and delicious. I advise you to try both burgers and desserts at the reception
Special thanks to Talik and Balil for the vacation 🤌🏻 If you see them, know that your vacation will be like in paradise
A nice hotel with an excellent location close to the city center. Amazing views of the city and the bay. Nearby there are mills - a local landmark.
The kitchen is not bad, but without frills. There is a selection of drinks at the bar.
Convenient beach: there is an opportunity to relax on the grass under palm trees, on the sand by the water and on a pontoon.
There are evening shows.
It's a very good option for a city hotel.
Just a disgusting hotel!!!!! I don't advise anyone. Only the Turks themselves have a rest at the hotel. The staff is not responsive. It is not comfortable on the beach, the sun beds are located very close. The restaurant is stuffy and there are so many wasps that it is impossible to sit still !!!!! There 's mold on the pillows! Dust is pouring out of the ventilation and the rooms are very tired.... We went to the spa, which was a mistake, since they do not comply with the skin peeling technology, it was painful and unpleasant, they began to scrub the non-steamed skin with a stiff machete. When I started to make claims, they pretended that they did not understand me.In general, the hotel is not set up to provide high-quality rest, everyone will not care about you and there is no point in expressing their dissatisfaction. The layout of the hotel is very unclear, often confused where to go. Previously, no one explained the location of all the options. They ran away from there flashing their heels two nights later.
An excellent city hotel for undemanding tourists.
The food is normal, there is always a choice.
The staff is only Turkish, so it's useless to address them in Russian. In general, everyone is friendly and ready to help. For example, there was a problem with the safe in the room, after contacting the reception they came and opened it.
About the territory: it was only on the second day that I realized how and where to go. There is a map of the hotel. The hotel is located on a slope, so there are many stairs.
The fitness room is excellent, there are a lot of exercise machines. Everything is in working order.
Separately, for 3 USD or 100 liras, you can take a boat to the Bodrum marina. I recommend visiting the fortress.
A luxury hotel, highly recommended for a visit. Everything is thought out, cozy and intimate. Stylish architecture, made in the Greek style.
The rooms are small, clean, and tidy. It is worth taking only "Sia view". Cleaning and change of towels-once a day.
The food was amazing-honey in honeycombs, a huge selection of pastries, cheeses, jams, vegetables. The fruit is a delicious watermelon, full for the year ahead. Delicious coffee and fresh fruit for breakfast.
The location is very good, not out of the way. You can walk to Bodrum marina, you can take a water taxi, $ 3, stop near the hotel. You can also take a taxi (upstairs at the exit of the hotel taxi station).
Ephesus was taken from the excursions, about the tour operator. Then we found out that people paid $30 less for our tour from the street agency. So take your time choosing tour guides and agencies. Overall, the rest was a success! Thank you very much.
We went to Turkey to Bodrum in early May 2024 for a week. We had a wonderful rest at the SALMAKIS RESORT & SPA 5* hotel. At Coral Travel, Svetlana Polyanskaya helped us organize our vacation, for which we thank her very much! It was already summer there, sunbathing, swimming in the sea even, a comfortable beach with a sandy shore and an atmosphere of relaxation. A luxurious hotel, I recommend to visit. And when there is also a room with a sea view (paid extra on the spot), then it gives aesthetic pleasure! It took 7 minutes to get to the city center by boat, and you can also walk in just 20 minutes. The food is good, you can choose according to your taste. The territory is small but beautiful, the pool, the pier, the sea views are magnificent. We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. The hotel is located on a mountain and there are many steps, but you can always use the elevators. In the evening we strolled along the sea, and also rested near the reception. In general, I liked the rest, I advise you to visit.
I strongly recommend the hotel to visit
Almost everything is fine in it:
The location of the hotel is a picturesque bay with spectacular views of the city, mountains and my
The staff are very polite and ready to help and go to a meeting in any situation.
The beach is a sandy beach with a gentle entrance.
Food - a wide variety of dishes and drinks. Salads, vegetables, fruits and bread. Ice cream and sweets. Everyone will definitely find something for themselves.
Bars - skilled bartenders will make any cocktail of your choice or at will
Well, the hotel itself is not the newest, but it keeps the brand. It is beautiful and designed in the Greek style, with a large territory and a lot of plants.
At first I was upset, and the restaurant seemed to fall short of 5 stars, and the beach confused me. No more than 1% of Russian speakers. 70% are Turks themselves, mostly from Istanbul. There were Australians, Germans, French and, surprisingly, even Italians during our visit. Then I got into the beauty of the hotel, the place as a whole, and the high level of professionalism of the staff. The center of Bodrum is a 15-minute walk away. The beach is 100 meters away, but taking into account the maze of stairs, it takes about 5 minutes to descend. After 11 days, I didn't want to leave anymore.
We had a rest last year. I haven't been to Turkey for twenty years, if everything was open, I would hardly have gone).
The hotel is listed as a top five, in fact, it is rather a solid four stars. Now in order.
Upon arrival, we were immediately checked in.A room from the category of "poor, but clean". They gave a view of the sea, although they did not pay for it separately. The room is neat, everything is there, but very cramped and narrow. However, they didn't really plan to sit there). Some tiles were rolled off in the bathroom). Plus they fixed the bathroom door handle themselves)).
The food is plentiful, but everything is cooked simply, without frills.
A beautiful outdoor restaurant, overlooking the bay, is especially good to sit in the evening.
The beach is narrow, only three rows. There weren't many people in the season, so no one bothered anyone. The sea is amazing, blue-green, transparent, just for lovers of long swims.
In general, the infrastructure is not highly tailored to the needs of vacationers, especially children.
The hotel is close to Bodrum itself, it is convenient to go for a walk in the evening. You can either walk, it's about 20 minutes at a calm pace, or by riverboat, near the marina, for $ 2 one way. The city is beautiful, in the Greek style, it is interesting to climb, see and hang out).
I can probably recommend it, but taking into account the features outlined above😊
Something reminded the hotels of the Egyptian Sharm el Sheikh, a mountain hotel, ascents and descents, at first it was necessary to get used to the numerous stairs. The food is tolerable, but the choice is modest, alcoholic beverages with the "ultra all inclusive" system, as well as coffee and tea, are unimportant, the feeling that they are diluted with chlorinated water. More or less only local ephesus (beer). The sea is very shallow, so milking lovers to swim is not a very suitable place. The hotel is small, but wins with a view of the bay, where the old castle and numerous boats open.
A beautiful Greek-style hotel.
The beach is small, the sea is clean, I go in smooth, sandy and pebbly.
The food is ordinary, but the a la carte restaurant pleasantly surprised with its dishes and portions.
Good guys work at the reception, they help with all questions.
The room cleaning is poor, the linen is torn. The hotel needs restoration.
Nice hotel, very nice view of the bay, great food, friendly staff. Cons: if you are vacationing with children, it will be difficult with a stroller, a lot of steps, a small hotel area, very poor Internet in the rooms.
The rating of the hotel is clearly overestimated. One of the advantages is the location and the gorgeous view of the bay and the beautiful territory. The hotel itself is outdated. This applies to the interiors and the technical condition of the rooms. There is no division into smoking/non-smoking rooms. The number was changed for this reason. In the new room, the shower worked every other time. There are no irons in the rooms, I asked twice to bring them, they promised, but they never brought them. There is a spa area with saunas and a hammam, you need to sign up in about one or two days. Cuisine: a very large selection of dishes, but it is really possible to consume 2-3. A good selection of cheeses, sometimes grilled dishes. Vegetables are tasteless. The fruit was a very tasty watermelon. There are no toothpicks. The staff is very slow, despite the large number of waiters, they did not have time to clean the tables, they had to wait.
Good afternoon. The hotel is not for Russians! In the case of theft directly from the safe, during the so-called cleaning! Towels look like floor cloths, I had to buy them at the store, because it is simply impossible to use them. The rest is ruined
A wonderful hotel operating on the All inclusive system. There are not many of them in Bodrum. It is better to choose a room with a sea view. It will be more expensive, noisier, but worth it.
A disgusting place, dirty, without service or anything, if the tour operator offers it to you, feel free to block his number.

The hotel is good. The food was amazing - very tasty and a huge selection of dishes! We arrived on the same day, but there are no tables available. Our waiter (we tipped him every day) He said wait a minute, I'll find you a table. A minute later, the two of them and a colleague dragged a physically new table from the pool, and set it up for us! Fire service! This has never been seen anywhere)
There are even honeycombs with honey for lunch every day. Cheeses! A good set of cheeses, very tasty.
You should only take a hotel room with Sea View, because otherwise you will be sitting with a view of the wall or the path, which is not very good. The view from the Sea View room is gorgeous.
Get ready for the stairs. Lots of stairs! To walk from the reception to the restaurant, it is several floors. It's hard on the first day, then it's fine) there are several elevators, they need to be found and with the help of two elevators you can get to the sea almost without stairs :)
There is a boat transport from the hotel to Bodrum. For $ 2, it delivers to the Bodrum embankment.
The animation is unobtrusive, calm, European-style, there are few Russians in the hotel, mostly foreigners. Everything is very cultured and calm. There are very few children (September??)
A 10-minute walk will take you to the observation deck (Bodrum Mill) with a gorgeous view of the city and cool sunsets.
The beach is sandy, the entrance is good. There are places on the sunbed. The hotel rules even prohibit booking a sunbed for more than an hour.
