We recently visited a wonderful Japanese family cafe — the experience is simply excellent! The chef is Japanese and his wife is Belarusian, and together they have created an incredibly cozy and authentic place. The interior is very beautiful, clean, and every detail is thought out — you feel like you're in a small corner of Japan.
There are tables with both the usual European seating and Japanese—style seating - an excellent choice for the mood. The menu is varied. We took a tasting set for two for 145 BYN (4000 RUB) + drinks — and were absolutely delighted! The portions were generous, everything was incredibly tasty and balanced.
The waiter Valeria was very friendly and attentive, she brought everything on time, the serving and the order of the dishes were perfect. I was pleased with the choice of ciders (my mango salted caramel was great) - there are fewer of them on the menu than are available, so ask away, you will definitely be pleasantly surprised!
The landing was about 80%, but the atmosphere remained calm and cozy. We highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic Japanese cuisine and hospitality. We will definitely come back again!

Even when I left, they didn't say goodbye to me, although I passed a group of waiters (the guys were talking about something...)
- the prices bite, the portions are small. After eating 500g of ramen and 4 dumplings, I didn't eat enough.

It was with great pleasure that I visited this wonderful Japanese restaurant, and my expectations were more than met.
From the very entrance, we were greeted by an atmosphere of Asian comfort and warmth. The interior of the restaurant is thought out to the smallest detail – every detail creates the feeling that you are in Japan.
The menu is a real work of art! I tried the ramen, and it was just incredible: fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared rice, and amazing sauces. The takoyaki was impeccable- delicious and tender.
The service is top–notch - the smiling waiters know their business and are always ready to help with the choice.
I recommend this place to all lovers of Japanese cuisine. If you want to enjoy the authentic flavors of Japan, this is the place for you!

A very atmospheric place with authentic Japanese cuisine. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of such dishes, but I was glad to try ramen, gyoza, takoyaki and others.
If you like ramen, it's definitely worth coming here for it. It's thick, rich, and real. Everything else is also done perfectly, but the taste of the food is quite simple, without a twist (which is typical of Japanese cuisine). It's worth going here at least once and finding out your attitude to this style.

It's a good place. We took a tasting set. My Belarusian soul needed more gramophone records, even though it was delicious. I was surprised that most of the positions were without fish. The ramen is very rich, and I also liked the local dessert based on matcha. Special thanks to the waiter for explaining each dish.

Great place! After visiting Japan, we were looking for a place in Minsk where you can find good ramen. And they found him here. Today it is the most delicious in Minsk that we have tried. I also really liked kara-age.

A couple of days ago, my friend and I visited this restaurant and were very satisfied. We ordered ramen, noodles from the chef, takoyaki. Since I don't really know much about Japanese cuisine, according to a friend, I can say that everything was very tasty. We were served by the waiter Vladimir, who helped us decide on the menu, as well as the drinks, for which we thank him very much. A guy and a girl (who was clearly in no mood) were sitting at the next table. Today I saw a review and realized that it was about me and Angelina (Lisa Poltachuk, if anyone is interested), which said that we were "obviously drunk" and were talking very loudly. I can say that we were definitely sober, and we only talked within the confines of our table (maybe we sometimes laughed out loud, but it certainly didn't bother other customers). In this regard, I can conclude that this statement is definitely not true and far-fetched, so I will allow myself to be far-fetched and advise Lisa to always carry a breathalyzer with her, so that God forbid people laughing and smiling at the next table do not accidentally turn out to be drunk, and also not to eavesdrop on other people's conversations (which at least it's ugly). And since you've already heard about the drink that we asked Vladimir to choose, since we couldn't decide on a choice, it was horse urine, we highly recommend that you try it next time, we really liked it!

An establishment with mixed impressions.
What did not cause positive emotions was the service. I'll start with him, though it's unusual. The restaurant was found on Instagram. The profile header cheerfully suggests clicking on the link to book a table. And, surprisingly, this cannot be done on the website, there is another link to the phone call. I wasted my time. The site itself is an extremely simple landing page, where there is not even a menu, but there is a job advertisement, links to delivery services, etc. There is little useful for those who want to eat.
I decided to book through a social network. I wrote 1.10 before closing time, and received a reply the next day at 12. Then there was a small dialogue in which I did not get a clear answer, whether the table was booked or not, or at least an invitation to book. Honestly, the desire to come has disappeared. But there was enough time in the evening, so we decided to have dinner anyway.
Contrary to the online conversation, the room turned out to be half-empty, and they chose a table for two without any problems. They forgot to bring us the menu, so we had to come over and remind them. Overall, the service is slow. They do not ask about the order of serving dishes, they take out when they are ready that one of the guests is sitting with an empty table in front of him.
About the food. We ordered standard ramen, kakuni, oolong melon. I liked the broth in the soup: thick, rich, and delicious. However, ingredients other than noodles are scarce: a thin piece of meat, half an egg, seaweed, and some green onions. By the way, for + 5 rubles, the serving is 120 g more, with 2 pieces of meat and an egg. For me, 3 volume options is a bit much. Kakuni is served with two types of salads. There are no questions here: meat easily breaks down into fibers, the sauce is delicious, salads are also in the theme, complement the dish. Although, again, there is a comment on the service: a knife could be offered.
By the way, about the service: instagram offers to participate in a game with prizes in February and, obviously, there is some kind of loyalty program in the institution, because we are talking about silver, gold cards and new guests. But no one tells us anything about this program.
Overall: well-prepared, delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, but the service and website should be improved.

It's a very atmospheric place. As a fan of everything Asian, this is heaven for me. The rice in my dish was perfectly cooked. I was here right after the opening, the ramen was delicious, but after so many years, it seemed to have become even tastier.

I was here for the second time yesterday. If the first meal of the main menu seemed like an amateur, then yesterday's special.The set from Mr. Sakaguchi's chef is simply very tasty and varied! Everything is perfectly cooked and served. There are no questions about the service, the guy and the girl (with the "ears" - unfortunately, I don't remember the names) told me what the dishes were made of, served on time, and cleaned the dishes.

We ordered several dishes (ramen, kakuni, tempera, noodles from the chef and specialty hot drinks). The prices are huge, the quality of the dishes is terrible. Three pieces of pork were brought to kakuni (one piece is pure lard and fat, the other two are half meat, half fat / lard), the noodles in the ramen are tasteless, like flour (and raw), the broth is ordinary chicken, the only plus is its density, but the ramen is very salty (like egg and meat), the noodles from the chef are more delicious, but also quite salty, tepmura is basically a good dish, seasonal drinks are also delicious. Everything else was just terrible, by the end of the meal I could no longer look at this food, I had vomiting. A check came out for 143 rubles, and the conclusion is that it's expensive, tasteless, but the place itself is beautiful.
Another disadvantage is the waiter, he was alone in the room, talking to his friends, they were visitors. I don't mind friends coming in and being able to talk to their acquaintance/friend/partner who works somewhere, but they were talking very loudly, obviously drunk, so the waiter answered them loudly and joked about the drinks and their dishes that he brought them, the last thing that completely ruined my appetite was when he brought the girl an alcoholic cocktail, and when she said that the taste was unusual, the waiter replied that it was his urine. That was said very loudly, and after that, it wasn't that my appetite was gone, I just wanted to run away from this "restaurant" faster (waiter Vladimir, who cares)
This is the first place where we didn't even leave a tip.

I do not recommend visiting this place to pay 143 rubles for 5 dishes, you can also use this money in other restaurants to eat delicious and a lot.

It is necessary to competently get to the days when her Japanese husband cooks, because Belarusians, to put it mildly, do not know how to cook Japanese dishes. I always take Ramen and Takoyaki here 90% of the time. It's hard to spoil ramen because the recipe is strict, so when there's no Japanese in the kitchen, I only take it. But when he's in the kitchen, I always advise you to take Takoyaki! They turn out just like in Japan, one-on-one! I highly recommend it!

After reading good reviews and an online article about this place, my wife and I decided to visit Sakaguchi. We definitely won't go there a second time, and I don't recommend it to others. Anyone can cook in the kitchen there, but not this Japanese. The atmosphere there is certainly interesting, but the service is very long, and the cuisine is extremely mediocre with a very high price tag. They charge 34 rubles for a small plate of ramen, the taste of the broth is so-so, but instead of noodles (preferably handmade for that money) they put spaghetti and call it a worthy alternative!!! Takoyaki are not crispy on the outside and instead of being stringy on the inside, they are generally raw. There are simply no Japanese drinks (made in Japan, such as beer, etc.). After reading the business's response, which amused me, I give the business a fair answer in order.: 1) the Japanese are not slaves, everything is clear, but as your staff personally informed me, the hostess and the chef rarely visit the restaurant. And he just wasn't there that day, but the absence of a chef in the kitchen, if properly organized, should not affect the quality of the dishes, especially considering your prices. 2) a large portion is 850 ml, for example, and as for the cost of ramen in other establishments in Minsk, it does not exceed 20p for about the same size as yours (you can easily check this online). 3) regarding noodles, putting barila in a 34p ramen is just a tin can, guys, and your Japanese chef has probably been to noodles in Japan, there are even hand-made noodles in rickshaw kitchens on the street. It was terrible. It's the worst place I've ever seen.
The food is mediocre, the service is the same, the poor waiters walk around in shabby T-shirts, they looked very untidy, and sleepy as flies they confuse orders. Some tables were cleaned up in a good way, but apparently they didn't do it for the sake of money, and dirty boxes and men with bare legs were carried through us.
And when they asked for a transfer, they told us that the hall was full when it was half empty. We stayed there for two hours and the hall was still not full. That is, in fact, it was possible to transfer, but who is interested in the inconvenience of the visitor. One dish was refused because the garbage from the box fell there, but it was put on the bill for us.
And the fact that this is real Japanese food, as my Japanese friends said, is a bad copy of Japanese cuisine. And we were very surprised that this food is prepared by a Japanese man himself.
But the cherry on the cake is the hostess of the establishment. I have never met such an unstable owner.
Honestly, we remember our trip with horror. Don't go there anymore, and I don't advise you to.

We celebrated a child's birthday here the other day. What I want to say is, if you call yourself a restaurant, then you want to get the appropriate service. To begin with, no one offered me water when I sat down at the table. I sat for 7 minutes waiting for someone to come up to me, and I had to go look for a waitress myself, because the QR code on the table with the waiter's call "oh, it hasn't been working for a long time." And for what purposes is it on the table then?
Some of the dishes seemed mediocre to me, but this is purely my taste, there are no complaints. One of the advantages: the waitress girl told me all the menu, it was pleasant and helped me navigate the choice. But then there was frustration again. We asked them to take out our cake so that the child could blow out the candles. They took it out to us and just put it on the table. We sat for 10 minutes and waited for something to happen (here I mean: to cut the cake, bring plates, utensils, spread the cake for the guests), again we had to ask them to do it all ourselves. At first, we were waiting for something to be done with this cake. Then the plates were brought to us and the dishes were not brought. We didn't get the layout for the cake at all, we had to somehow spread the pieces on the plates with a fork.
In general, the impression of the service remained negative. In a time of such intense competition, this approach is very surprising.

This is the first time I am writing a review about the place we visited. I never thought that I would do something like this. But reading the reviews, you realize that those who wrote them have never been to this restaurant. Or it's basically their first restaurant.
In order:
1) we have pre-booked a table in the "Japanese Hall". According to the photos on Instagram, it looked like there were really two different halls, but in fact there were two small sections, one of which was located next to the entrance. And it gave the impression of a passing yard.
2) There are too many tables in a relatively small area, and, accordingly, a lot of people. Sometimes it seemed as if we were not in a Japanese restaurant, but on a food court in one of the malls.
3) We looked at the menu on Instagram in advance. And it would be fine, even if only slightly, the price tags have already risen in comparison with the publication on Instagram (although the information could already be updated). We arrive, the menu is already on the tables, and no one warns that you cannot order from the menu. There is no information either on social networks or from the waiters, who later simply put us in front of the fact. And this is despite the fact that the menu itself is meager.
4) We waited for the order for about 40 minutes, while those who came not much earlier or later than us are brought earlier.
5) The order (dishes) is taken out within 5 minutes - I came with my girlfriend, and in theory, it is wrong to take out one earlier than the other.
6) I liked the food, but as for me, it should have been at least a little more in quantity, given the price tag and waiting time. And I think it's not about trying to follow the aesthetics of the restaurant at all.
7) Cocktails were prepared for us quickly, but this, to put it mildly, is absolutely not what was in the description: akatsuki (red wine and cola) tasted like watered-down wine and sakura - also watered-down rose wine with incomprehensible tasteless spices on the rim of the glass.
8) Saturday evening is a "rush hour" for the restaurant, when the chef and the owner of the restaurant must be present, who, in my understanding, would have to solve problems as they arrive. But they were not there, Instagram was "dead" at that time, and the waiters themselves have to explain why the working time on the Internet is written "before 22", but in fact - at 21, and the kitchen does not accept orders after 20.10.
I treat the Japanese with great love and respect, knowing, among other things, about their hard work, perfectionism towards the business they are engaged in. But in fact, a beautiful picture on Instagram and Online has little to do with the reality that we saw last night. I'm afraid such a place wouldn't last long in Japan itself. I really hope that everything described above will be taken into account, and not as before, responding to negative reviews in a rude tone, or ignoring them altogether.

Takoyaki is not my dish at all, it smells strongly of fish and has a sharp unpleasant taste from tuna chips. The geuza were delicious, especially with chicken and cheese. Kakuni is a soft stewed pork in a sweet sauce, we really liked it. The dessert is magical - a delicate pudding. Delicious lemonades.
In general, a good place to explore Japanese cuisine, you need to try everything to choose your dish.

We were seated at the most unfortunate table, although we had booked in advance. It's also annoying that there's nowhere to put your bag/backpack, just hang it on the back of a chair or put it on the floor. Some cafes have small folding things for bags, it would be worth putting them here too.

A very atmospheric place with friendly staff. The ramen is very tasty and satisfying. Geuse, something like fried dumplings, is delicious, but generally ordinary dumplings. Takoyaki are balls of dough with mussels, for an amateur, but it was interesting to try. A nice bonus was to find out that the chef himself, the owner of the establishment, prepared them for us.
There is no sushi here, we recommend this place for those who want to taste something new from Japanese cuisine.
