A great place to relax! The city center! It's even hard to believe. The garden is very peaceful. According to legend, his son began to build it for his old parents in the 16th century. There was not much money, the construction was delayed... as you understand, the parents did not wait. Then the garden was sold, changed hands several times. But the main thing is to remain a garden! It never occurred to anyone to set up a residential complex or a shopping center there! 400 years have passed, the garden is beautiful and is an amazing recreational area ✌️

A beautiful and atmospheric place in the center of Shanghai, within walking distance from the waterfront. There are almost always a lot of visitors. The territory is not very large, but everything is very interesting.

At least that's what it seemed to me. But it's really beautiful and colorful. One of the disadvantages is the huge number of people. It will definitely not work to admire and meditate. One of the advantages is the proximity to the center, easy access and right there is a traditional Chinatown (also a recreation of the historical appearance). But I was more impressed by the Chinese village on the Zhujiajiao water. It's not so perfect there, but it's more realistic, or something, it's more like the spirit has really been preserved here and it's the story
