My friends and I visited this place yesterday evening. The atmosphere is really nice, featuring wooden tables and chairs along with traditional paintings. There was loud music for about 20 minutes because a group of locals was celebrating something, but then it was turned off. The staff is friendly and efficient. Our waitress spoke Russian, so there were no issues with placing our order. She also answered all our questions, which was really helpful. We were served quickly compared to many other places in Georgia; all dishes arrived as soon as they were prepared.
The quality of the food was nice. I tasted chanakhi (lamb stew with vegetables in a pot), meat salad (well-cooked pieces of beef with tomatoes, bell pepper, mayo, and spices), Georgian salad (onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a sauce with walnuts), and compote. The chanakhi was fantastic and looked very authentic in the clay pot. The rest of the meal was quite good too. The prices were reasonable. My friends mentioned that the khinkali were a bit specific but still enjoyable, while the kebab meat was somewhat tough. The restaurant didn’t have any desserts that evening, but that was fine. Tips aren’t included in the bill, so it’s up to you to leave something for the waitstaff.
An excellent budget Georgian restaurant, for me the best in Batumi in terms of price-quality ratio. I've been coming here for 2 years now, not without shoals, purely Georgian, but overall - a gorgeous place!
4 halls, cozy, almost always full, in season - with a full house on the street, with queues at the entrance. This is when people standing on the street watch how people who are already in the restaurant eat.
During this time, I have already tried the entire menu, the food is beyond praise.
Service 10%
I really liked it. Pleasant atmosphere, light, conveniently organized veranda. The service is at a decent level. Delicious food, a wide selection of dishes, convenient portion size. There is a locally produced wine (served in a jug), it is of high quality. At the same time, it is inexpensive. This place was recommended to us by a local resident, who eats here herself from time to time.
Great place, I really liked it. If your goal is to overeat with large portions of delicious food, drink good chacha, after which you do not want to throw your head down from the balcony in the morning, then you are here)
The waitresses are quite nimble, although while you are standing in line to take a table, it seems that they are slow)) But in fact, the service is at a normal speed, given the number of guests.
In general, our evening was a success, we remembered that we returned home by taxi only in the morning, opening the application, It was delicious, fun and sincere, which we wish to all the guests of this restaurant))
Delicious and cheap. Food is difficult in Batumi. It was the only place we ate. I liked tarragon very much, khinkali was urban (meat with greens, but I didn't like cheese), French fries were cool, khachapuri was not bad, chicken kebab, pork ribs my husband liked. The attitude towards Russians is good.
I really liked the cafe! Of course, we ordered Saperavi, meat, mushroom soup! It was very tasty! Thanks! How nice it is in Georgia! Prosperity to this country and prosperity to the people and of course peace!
Good service, fast food delivery. The khinkali is big and very tasty, the adjika is really spicy, and the salad portions are also very large. We spent several days in Batumi, visited various establishments, it's definitely in the top of the best!
I have been going to Batumi for 5 years 2 times a year, and this is our favorite place!
Great cuisine, large portions, very nice prices and excellent service
This is the second time I have come to Batumi and come to this cafe
Khinkali is the best, I haven't eaten such delicious anywhere, the kebab is juicy and smoky.
Usually everything is prepared quickly, but the cafe is popular and sometimes you have to wait a long time. Their homemade wine tastes like compote
The prices are affordable
For us, their food is acceptable, both in price and quality, we did not get into any food curiosities, kebab is normal, shish kebab is not straight wow, but still very good, salads are meat, chicken and mushroom norms, vegetables are dry, do not fill, mushroom soup is normal, very good broth, khinkali the urban ones took mostly small islands for the child, but they were not bad. Different things were taken in clay containers-everything is fine. Their boarding is always almost complete, 10% tips for service are added to the bill, prices are not too high in my opinion, the waiter girls, in our opinion, are a little emotionally unstable, after any emotional communication with previous customers, they come into balance for a long time, and unfortunately for you this overflow will be spread, really if you feel this, you will understand what I am describing here, and so the girls are friendly, nimble-the main thing is that no one spoils their mood, alas, they hardly control it. Some negative moments pass us by with food, for the past five years of visiting this place, the kitchen is not Wow! But above average for us. Good luck to everyone and have a good rest and mood!
Disgusting service.
We greeted the waitress, she was not with us; then we chose some of the dishes and tried to understand the composition of borano, the waitress stood silently at our table, looked at us and sighed.
Well, okay, maybe she didn't learn the ingredients, and we didn't ask her directly, although it's okay to pay attention to the guests, recommend dishes and sell them. Businesses need waiters to sell and increase revenue.
Then she stood at our table for half a minute and left without a word. It's a shock, we call her: "Excuse me, but we still want to order, will you come back?" The waitress silently punched the order, silently returned.
Naturally, all this with a displeased face.
The mood is immediately spoiled. We did not order additional dishes, it was uncomfortable because of such a meeting. We ate quickly and went to another restaurant.
I give one star for the dishes.
It's fine, but the khinkali is too peppery.
The prices are inexpensive.
I don't recommend it, it's better to go somewhere else.
A great combination of taste and price! This place is a huge success!
Even chipped dishes and a constant queue to the toilet do not spoil the impression . The price here is very pleasant, and the cuisine is traditional and delicious! I definitely recommend it.
The first and perhaps most important thing is the national cuisine, if you want to taste Georgian cuisine, then wine is here for you, yes, there is something not national. but very little. Against the background of the others, this is very good. The serving was fast enough, the meat was very good both in quality and cooking. The prices are acceptable, there are always a lot of people, both local and visitors, this is not a pretentious institution, this is a place where you can have a good, tasty meal (depending on the dishes, everyone has different ideas about taste + national specifics of cuisine), have a hearty meal, and take something with you). It is necessary to select dishes for children so that their taste buds do not act up, but the fact that there are many children in the cafe is an indicator of the purity of cooking. Prices for meat are indicated in portions, in general these are National dishes, customized service, safe food, normal portions, affordable prices. I don't remember desserts. I recommend Ayran. One toilet, I haven't seen the other. You can sit both inside and on a closed highway. Homemade white wine is softer, red is more tart and heartburn is possible.
Nice place, friendly waiters and chef. The food is a solid four - they took dumplings in a pot for children, everything fell apart, the homemade wine is cheap (8 lari per liter), but not tasty. Ojahuri, salad, khinkali - delicious.
Guys!!! This is one of the most amazing restaurants with awesome Georgian cuisine. You can't pronounce the names, much less remember them) The portion is a bucket. Be careful when ordering, salad for 2 people, well, in general, like everything else. Khinkali with mushrooms is a bomb!!! Draft beer, like chacha, refreshes and intoxicates. The staff flies tip sails, everyone is friendly and patient, understands and speaks Russian. If you want to crawl out from behind the table with a satisfied smile of bursting gourmet happiness, you are definitely there. This is not an advertisement, we have been vacationing in Georgia for the 2nd year in a row. Anyway, go and figure it out for yourself.
Positive:
1) For the most part, delicious food — we were a couple of times, took lobio, caesar, khachapuri in Megrelian, khinkali, eggplant and compote. I was unlucky with the mushroom ojahuri, which we took with us to take away, for some reason it was with very coarsely chopped potatoes, and the portion was very small. It's strange, considering the reviews here and on other sites, where people were brought large appetizing-looking portions.
2) Clean toilet, no queues.
3) Convenient location.
Minuses:
- A lot of people (understandable, because the place is popular)
- There is a service charge of 10% of the bill
- The waiters are not always polite. I understand that they run around in soap when landing heavily, but... The air conditioner blowing directly on the table cannot be turned off, so sit down, get sick :) at least another one was soon available, where there was no wind, so it was possible to move.
I ordered 6 khinkali, they brought me 5. They billed me for 6. The khinkali themselves are the most unpalatable of all that I have tasted in my life. There is a lot of pepper, probably they mask low-quality minced meat. thick dough, nasty broth. Draught white wine is common, as in other restaurants. There were a lot of people in the restaurant (probably because of the low prices) . That's what bribed us + a high rating in Yandex. As elsewhere in Batumi, tips are included in the bill. Therefore, the staff is not motivated to work well.
A wonderful cafe with affordable prices. Large and tasty portions, fast service.
An interesting fact: all the waiters are girls (quite strict, sometimes it was a little uncomfortable).
For two people, they gave about 30 lari for lunch, and ate their fill.
I recommend you to visit!
Everything is sooo delicious! The portions are huge. Fast service and serving of dishes. Friendly staff, quite a budget menu. There are always a lot of visitors. We came there several times with pleasure.
Always a full fit, cheap and delicious! The best khinkali was eaten here)) Shish kebab is a little weak. But it's a sin to complain about your money)) Homemade white wine is great.
A good cafe! The prices are adequate, the food is very tasty! The location is great! We visited several times and were always satisfied! I recommend it!
The cuisine is not delicious, the service is long, the waiters forget about the request to bring the bill, they ask for help in serving the dish on the table, with the appearance that if you do not help, they will put it on your head. The menu is wildly inconvenient, no UX, a stupid list from a word document, it's wildly inconvenient to choose. Many of the dishes are very spicy, it is not marked anywhere on the menu, and of course there is no composition either. I will never go there again and I do not recommend it to anyone.
Great restaurant! The food is delicious. The price is very affordable. There is a lot of space inside. In the evenings, people queue here to come in and have dinner. That says a lot. The menu includes dishes from Georgian to European cuisine. The service is fast. The dishes are large. The price starts from 8 GEL
The cuisine and drinks are good, there are no complaints. Everything is delicious. After the first visit, they returned two more times, but all three times the service was disappointing. There are a lot of people, a lot of orders, the waiters do not have time to pay attention to everyone. The dish has to wait 30-40 minutes. It seems that everyone has forgotten about you. Ordering something or asking for an invoice also causes difficulties. The level of the establishment resembles more a canteen than a cafe
A wonderful place in terms of price/quality ratio. We were in May. We went often. Everything is delicious. Decent Kindzmarauli for bottling 5 GEL glass. Chacha 52 degrees 15 lari decanter 0.5 . I really liked Chikhartma. The only meat is in large chunks, well, the Georgians and the vegetables in the salad are roughly chopped. In general, I recommend it.
If you want to eat delicious Georgian cuisine, then you are definitely here. Huge portions, reasonable prices, much cheaper the closer to the sea. Friendly staff, fast service. We went to a lot of places, this is the best.
We went to this cafe for 4 days of our stay in Batumi. We liked everything very much, until we were advised to order one of the most expensive dishes-shkmeruli.
In the pan, instead of the chicken, there were only peeled chicken bones and 2 wings that could be eaten, the sauce was really delicious.
It cost 25 GEL.
This is a sooooo delicious place! The four of them left checks 70-80 dollars with wine. Very tasty homemade wine, all the dishes that were tasted during the three days of arrival in Batumi are all insanely delicious! The place is in high demand, and you can always find a free table. The service is fast and courteous. Thanks to the staff and chefs, you are super! We had a great dinner at your place. Recommend 👍
We come here all the time. There is no need to expect a five-star service here. They can also bring beer in a mug with a breakaway. It is delicious, inexpensive and high-quality here. Decent chicken kebab, khinkali, salads. In general, like
We loved this place very much for the delicious food and pleasant prices. We are used to an unobtrusive service. You can forgive that you forgot to bring something or carried it for a long time, that instead of tsolikauri they served rkacetels ... But, dear owners and managers, how to understand and forgive MARGARINE in Adjarian khachapuri? We don't come here anymore
A good cafe with a large assortment. The menu is in Georgian, English and Russian. Lots of tables and lots of waitresses. Many people speak Russian. Everything is clear and works well. The waitresses serve calmly, but quickly enough.
If you do not smoke, it is better to choose tables inside the cafe, rather than closer to the street.
We had lunch here several times. We ordered shish kebab, pizza, khinkali, dumplings, khachapuri in Adjarian, salad, compote. Everything is fresh and delicious. The portions are good. If we are in Batumi, we will come again.
We wish prosperity and job satisfaction to all the staff.
"There is nothing better for a person than to rejoice and do good in life, and that a person should eat and drink and enjoy his work. It is a gift from God" (The Bible, Ecclesiastes 3:13)
Oh yeah, no wonder there are so many reviews and ratings! I'm betting 10+++++++ stars. There are a lot of people, there is always a full boarding, the queue lasts 15-20 minutes. We always got to the table right away. The waiters are smart! Everyone speaks Russian, they will tell you about the menu, since we do not know the names. The prices are just economical, but the serving of dishes is gorgeous. We liked everything we tried. Soups, meat, fries, khachapuri, lula, and khinkali are divine, the dough is glossy!!! I have never seen such Khinkali anywhere else. Homemade white wine mmmmmm, delicious, but drunk. We came by taxi, went for a walk, so to speak, to shake what we had eaten. I want to try everything I have. Super!!!
It's probably the tastiest khinkali I've ever eaten! Delicate thin dough, delicious meat - just a delight!!! There is also very tasty wine and khachapuri in Adjarian style, and the prices are unrealistically low. In general, a complete gastronomic delight. There is one serious drawback, after visiting this institution, all the other Khinkali just about nothing when I tried these)))
We visited a cafe with our daughter. The order consisted of two salads, a kebab and khinkali. The salad and shish kebab were brought relatively quickly. And then it started.... I repeatedly asked the waitress Nana to pay attention to us - complete disregard. I went up to her myself - she doesn't notice me, so she doesn't hear what I'm talking about with her. I asked them either to bring khinkali or to calculate us if they forgot to cook them. There is no reaction. Another waitress came up to the table and began to wipe the table, despite the fact that we are not leaving yet. I asked to invite the administrator. Then Nana ran up and turned on her Georgian temperament. As a result, after an hour and a half of waiting for Khinkali, we were cursed, the check was thrown and we left. BOORISH guest service!
Everything was delicious, the portions were large!
There were a lot of people who wanted to get into the cafe. At the same time, the food was brought to us quickly enough.
I will note as a controversial point: keep in mind that this is the most noisy place where people sit close to each other, there are dozens of voices and laughter around you. The waiters are friendly, but in a hurry! Therefore, they may not notice you at the entrance. We can say we found a place for ourselves. But this did not confuse or offend us. The delicious dinner was worth it.
Therefore, if you like quiet places and it is important for you to be given maximum attention, you may not like it here.
And in general, I recommend you to visit! I repeat, it was very tasty - which is the main thing. And quickly, which is a good sign. Therefore, I put 5 points
It's a great place.
The waiters are lovely and friendly.
I really liked the service and the food, everything is very tasty, and most importantly the portions are huge, which was very surprising in a pleasant way.
A great place for everyday meals, delicious and large portions, fast service, delicious khinkali, plenty of space, there are verandas also on the street
This is the best restaurant in Batumi!!!! We had dinner only in this restaurant for the whole rest. The portions are large, the food is very tasty, the chacha is peachy 🤌
The prices are very good! On average, 65-70 GEL was given for dinner for 2. I recommend it to everyone 👍
Let's go to this place according to the reviews, I immediately say do not take the wine that is on tap, it is terrible
Kharcho soup is a large portion, a lot of meat, spicy and fatty
Lobio didn't like something tasteless, he didn't like it very much
The place is just for an amateur, we didn't go in
I live in Batumi, there is something to compare it with . It's a disgusting place. The waiters are in Paphos, they come up with a favor and serve. The food is tasteless , and most importantly carelessly cooked , it is noticeable at the first glance at the dish . And where there is negligence , there is a violation of all sanitary standards . I won't go there a second time for anything.
A cool Georgian restaurant with great prices. The staff is always there and friendly enough. As for food, if you are lucky with the cook, then everything is fine, then there are more onions in lobio than beans. Well, so it is with all the dishes, every time a roulette
A great cafe with delicious and fairly inexpensive dishes. There are always a lot of people, sometimes you have to wait for an empty table. Khinkali, hot pans, kebabs, khachapuri-top. Well , draft beer for 2.5 lari 👍
shish kebab is the most delicious one that was tried in Batumi, and another large portion, but khinkali was let down - large and the dough is very thin, some just broke on the plate themselves, and the meat is not the most delicious inside, alas :
khachapuri is delicious
at a price - quite budget, for 50 lari for two people you can do well to eat and drink
, having omitted the sinfulness from khinkali, you can safely put 5
I expected delicious food , based on the reviews and the number of people , in the end , only khinkali was delicious . Caesar, as in an ordinary dining room, eggplant rolls with nuts are not rolls, but envelopes that are also bitter at the same time. Kindzmarauli tastes like alcohol , because they pour from an ordinary 5 - liter bottle . And , also delicious bread and sauces , that 's probably all
We came to eat khinkali according to the recommendations, we were very happy. some of the best we've tried in Georgia.
the service is good, the waiters helped to organize a large table for 11 people, thank you!
