The place is excellent, the freshest fish and seafood are quickly prepared at quite reasonable prices for Istanbul. Of the disadvantages, they can mess up in a hurry. Once, my wife was served poorly fried salmon. Another time, one portion of shrimp was raw, the other was overcooked. But "the average hospital" is still very good. There is not always a mutton, but when there is, it is beautiful. The most serious disadvantage for me is the lack of alcohol, even beer. It's a pity, as many dishes with beer or white wine would have opened even better. 😁

When I want to fish in Istanbul, I come here. The best option in terms of price and quality. From Eminenyu, get off the Galata Bridge and on the left there will be a market and this cafe. The menu on each table is under glass, in pictures, in several languages, fixed price. You can calculate it, you are not deceived, the payment with the qr code went fine. My favorites are dorado (chupra) and shrimp in a pan in vegetables and cheese (carides guvech). In May 2025 - 350 and 450 liras, respectively. Of course, everything has become very expensive. A basket full of fresh bread is always served, dorado is served with lemon, half an onion and arugula (sorrel is smaller for us))) The famous stuffed mussels and baked eggplant pasta are also delicious (90 lire in May 2025, it is not on the menu, I ask separately). There is no alcohol. The tables are clean, they put disposable paper napkins. The service is fast, but sometimes, if hot Turkish guys suddenly start discussing something, you'll have to wait. The kitchen is open, everything is hot. I definitely recommend it, and I'll go myself the next time I'm in Istanbul.

The market is small and clean, but the range is quite wide. The first time I tried oysters, everything went just fine without consequences. Then we bought 1 kg of shrimp, they said they would cook it in a cafe for 400 lira, but in fact it turned out to be 500 and not very tasty, stupidly salted and grilled without spices, vegetables and sauces. It was much tastier at a similar market in Hurghada.
