Good day to all Gagrins and guests. About "live music." We arrived for the 4th time at one of the hotels in staraya Gagra. In the past years, everything was fine. And so...: it turned out that in the cafe "Rusalka", on the embankment, they got themselves a certain peacock as a singer... It's just trash... Someone can inform the administration, the owners and him that:
- singing and yelling into a microphone are two different things;
- to sing, you need to have at least talent and vocal skills, and preferably study;
- does this screaming mixture of blatnyak and chanson incompetent only scare away visitors not only from the Mermaid, but also from the surrounding cafes?
The rest is almost ruined. Next time, if we find out that he's still yelling here, we'll go somewhere else.

The food is delicious, but there are a lot of disadvantages. Secondly, the poor work of the waiters and cooks, an order was made for 3 people, soup was brought to one after 15 minutes, but they did not bring pita bread or even cutlery, there were only 2 napkins at the table, then they also brought the dish only to the second person (after 30 minutes), and the last person waited a little over an hour for khinkali. A wonderful cafe where the food is always delicious! Kharcho soup is the best on the whole coast, the barbecue was also very tasty and fresh, I didn't have time to take a picture of it - my husband consumed everything. It's not the first year we've been here - that year both the service and the food were just as great, the trout with vegetables is wonderful! Yes, Julienne is true with canned mushrooms, but you might think you always have fresh champignons and the like in your arsenal at home, everything is really delicious and khachapur and pickles, choose national dishes! The waitress girls are polite and good, they will always advise you what to take!

I used to come to this cafe all the time on vacation. The sea view is amazing! There is a closed igloo on the veranda. The waitress seemed nice and friendly to me. I ordered salmon in cream in a pot, salad with mussels and pita bread almost constantly. It's very very tasty!!! Beer here is 150 rubles. When I'm back in Gagra, I'll definitely come by))

Two stars only for the view from the second floor.
We ordered salmon in pots. When I took the first piece of fish, I immediately spat it out-the fish was raw and even cold (apparently it had not completely thawed out). They called the waitress, asked her to bring a cucumber salad with tomatoes, because there was no time to wait again for 20 minutes. I mistakenly assumed that half a tomato and cucumber would be brought faster. After 15 minutes, we went down to pay for the order. We never saw the salad, the fish was reluctantly excluded from the bill, and when we hinted that we did not want to leave 10% tips for such service, which were necessarily already included in the bill, we were very rudely told -and you can't remove anything else from the bill??? Although only what we didn't eat was removed from the bill. As a result, an hour later she left with a piece of pita bread wrapped in a napkin to eat it on the road.

Great place💯
Live music in the evening. A very nice girl performs songs, we always danced and sang along.
The kitchen is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The prices are very affordable.
The boat is mind-blowing❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ there is also a delicious roast with seafood and beef (these are two different dishes).

We visited this restaurant for the first time, I am extremely dissatisfied with the behavior of the waitresses.
Two girls are working, their faces look like we went to their house without permission, neither hello nor goodbye! They were sitting at the table on their phones until we called, no one was going to come up to us. The service leaves much to be desired. They brought a mojito with a fly (to call this blue liquid "mojito" is certainly strong), when I said this, a girl came up, took it, looked at me and said, "and now what do you suggest?" I was shocked, honestly. I expected to hear at least an elementary "excuse me", but she turned around with a jug in her hands and left, did not approach us again until they asked us to calculate, brought the bill and went outside with the phone.
Honestly, there was no delight from the food itself either, burnt dried pizza, raw potatoes, mojito lemonade is just a wash, it's creepy, but the prices are cosmic.
I do not recommend this place.

Not only are tips automatically included in the order price +10%, but they also do not give 50p change easily. The average meal is 500-600 ₽ plus a tip of 10%, the dishes are small, not satisfying. We ordered a boat, one dough, something that does not look close to a positive review. It is not possible to eat khinkali, just pepper! One plus the fruit drink is really delicious, but the volume is clearly not 200g! The wait for the dish, despite the fact that 1 table was occupied in the institution with us, was 40 minutes. The most disgusting khinkali I've ever eaten. Wherever I ate them in the territory of the Russian Federation: Leningrad region, St. Petersburg, Pyatigorsk and I ate every khinkali with different fillings with pleasure. I came here hoping to try delicious khinkali, and as a result, heartburn and budget lip augmentation. It's just disgusting. They knew that tourists came here and even simply did not mention spicy dishes on the menu. 🤦♀️

This is the worst institution in Abkhazia that we visited in 2 weeks in July. The boat, pasta, pizza, eggplant salad are not tasty, and meat in Abkhazian is just a shame - solid fat and veins, the frying pan in the photo is smaller than the palm. There is no service. In the evening, the music screams so that it is impossible to be on the outdoor veranda. But those who are very drunk may like to sing and dance there.

It feels like I came to the waitress (a woman with a black short haircut) at home, put my feet on the table and wait for her to serve me dinner. Well, the expression on his face was exactly like that. 4 glasses and 4 sets of appliances were brought for a family of 5 people 😅
He does not clean the empty dishes, although he comes to the table bringing new dishes. But as soon as she brought the bill, she stood over the table without taking her eyes off. Even if you have had cases where guests left without paying or leaving the mandatory 10% tip (here I even understand them), this does not mean that you need to stick your nose into the wallet of visitors.
And yet, out of about 8 types of soups, there was probably one available, there was not even a simple morse from the menu. They brought a raspberry drink of their own!(we clarified) the production, which turned out to be diluted with yuppie.
It is a pity that a promising institution is losing potential customers due to low-quality staff. We will not return, and let alone advise- we will tell everyone we know to avoid it.

On a rainy August evening, we reached this cafe. It is very cozy inside, sofas, a pedestal. Panoramic windows offer sea views. The prices are very reasonable, the presentation is beautiful. I waited, no one is coming, I decided to go down myself, order at the bar, it's not difficult for me. I go down to the main hall, the huge hall is empty, not a single visitor, three waiters are going about their business, not paying attention to me) took the menu, chose a cocktail, intercepted the waiter and asked to bring it to the second floor. The girl didn't understand me right away, but she seemed to hear about the cocktail and said, get up, we'll go to you now. Fine, I'm waiting. Five minutes later, another adult waitress brings the cocktail (holding it in her hand), gives it to me. I ask if it is possible to pay off right away, to which she raises a heavy look at me and, without hiding her discontent and shock at the same time, asks if I'm not going to order anything else. I answer in the negative and she immediately turns around silently and starts to leave. Talking to her back, I remind her about the bill, to which I hear: "go down and pay yourself")) I'm in a good mood, so I hold back and ask if I can do it later, to which I hear: "no, go down now and pay right away." It's a pity, of course, not to convey the tone through the text, but it was magical). I will not go into further details, this, in principle, is enough) I paid, took five sips of a disgusting cocktail, which was clearly on vodka, instead of another declared strong alcohol, and drove off to a delicious dinner. But the Little Mermaid and the adult blonde waiter will remain in my memories for a long time) I sincerely hope that the owner will read this and perhaps understand why in the season, at the most popular time for dinner, there is no one in the huge restaurant.

We came to the cafe, ordered chicken chop, rustic potatoes, kharcho soup and seafood salad. The order was waited for about 30 minutes, although the space in the cafe was small, three tables were occupied. The food was brought, I can't say much about it, but it was very tasty. Everything came out to us at 1800 rubles, they left 200 rubles as a tip.
There was great music and karaoke in the cafe. It was possible to put on any music for 200 rubles.
There was a lot of space, the tables were not big, but there were enough people for a lot. There was also an exit to the street, for summer gatherings it was the best.
Nevertheless, the order was waited for a long time, for such a small workload. The music was playing very loudly, it was already hitting my ears, I could have made it quieter. It was expensive. For such a small order, it's a lot of money.
Strange sofas, they were made like a slide, you constantly roll down and come to get better.
There was no hot water in the faucet, so I had to wet my hands with ice water.
