Overall, the hotel made a good impression, but I wouldn't go there a second time.
During the stay, I couldn't get enough sleep due to poor sound insulation between the rooms, the cooing of pigeons on the balcony, the crowing of a rooster in the morning on a neighboring farm, and music until late, and sometimes in the morning. You need to get drunk to sleep.
My roommate and I could hear each other through the thin door all through the vacation.
The electricity in the room was cut off several times. I called the reception, they came, recoded the card.
With a price of over $80 per night, breakfast was not included, and the surcharge for it was as much as 350 baht ($10). They give breakfast in a cafe nearby for 150 baht.
Positive.
1. The staff is polite, they clean and wash all the time. The common areas are clean and shiny.
2. There is a balcony where you can meet the dawn with a cup of coffee.
3. Side view of the sea and the city from the room.
4. Two clean and beautiful pools.
5. Spacious room.
6. There is a kettle in the room.
7. There is a bathtub in the bathroom.
8. Exclusive furniture in the halls.
9. Right across the street from the hotel is Jomtien Beach. It is convenient to go swimming.
10. There is an evening market nearby with a large selection of food, cafes with good and inexpensive breakfasts.
11. The morning fishing market is a 5-minute walk away (from 6 a.m.). The prices are not the cheapest.
12. The famous Crab seafood restaurant and European cafes are a 20-minute walk away.
13. The pools are clean and not deep. The kids will love it.
14. There are a couple of channels in Russian. Russia 24 with ads and an unknown channel with the same films.
15. One of the pools is located in the shade, it is convenient to relax there in the heat.
Minuses:
1. There is no flexible shower in the bathroom, only rigidly built into the wall. The direction of the water is rigidly fixed.
2. The dryer on the balcony is small - there is one crossbar on the side wall.
3. There is no bathrobe and slippers.
4. There is no tea in the tea set. We only put coffee 3 in 1. The rest must be bought.
5. Air conditioning, controlled only from the wall panel at the entrance to the room. You have to get up at night to manage.
6. Low noise insulation. One moves a chair, and everyone on the floor can hear it from above and below. If a drunk slams the door at night, the whole floor wakes up. It would be nice to make seals on the legs of the furniture, put door closers on the doors, and paste a seal on the jambs. I came across an adjoining room with a thin door between the rooms. The neighbor is watching TV, or sneezing, coughing, and I'm listening.
7. There is no table on the balcony, and the massive chairs move with a terrible creak on the floor. In the evening and especially at night, it is very audible to everyone around.
8. Mattresses are as hard as wood.
9. There was no safe in the room. But I didn't need it.
10. Small mosquitoes appeared in the bathroom every day.
11. In the high rooms, small fishing boats are very audible from the sea, which crackle like a tractor in the early morning. This is a common problem of Jomtien.
12. In the neighboring plot they keep chickens and a rooster that screams at dawn and wakes up.
13. Pigeons come to the balconies, they purr from the very early hours and shit. There's nothing you can do about it.
14. There was no snack table in the room. Just the dressing table. There is an armchair, but no table. There's nothing to put food on.
15. There is only one top shelf in the closet and it is very high. It is not convenient to take out clothes. There were only three hangers, so I had to buy 8 more.
16. There are no umbrellas by the pool on the 2nd floor, so you can't lie by the water in the heat.
17. The pillows are kind of soft, but they seem to be caked.
18. Surface cleaning. There are dust clumps under the beds…
I was at this hotel on December 22.
Breakfast is very meager and it is on the menu. 2 options: English with egg and beans and American with toast, bacon, egg and jam. There are no replacements! Only what was given.
The staff speaks English poorly. It was necessary to make a deposit, the staff could not answer the question where the nearest exchanger is.
There is a natural lotus pond next to the hotel. This means that there are a lot of mosquitoes on this side.
There are full balconies, which is very convenient. The building stands sideways. therefore, from the balcony there is a view of the sea, albeit sideways.
I was so lucky, or the general trend.... Most of the foreigners living (mostly Americans) came for a local *cupcake. This meant: the noise and the showdown of the discontented half the night. In addition, they obviously came for a couple of days. This leads to the fact that the hotel does not try for customers. Why, if they didn't come for a long time? They will endure it.
The beach is across the street. Very wide and calm. It is convenient that there are few people.
If you are going for a couple of days, the hotel is suitable, if for a longer period, look for an alternative. For almost 2 weeks, the linen has not been changed once. If I hung up a sign for cleaning, they put new water on me, if I didn't ask to clean up, they didn't put it on. I went on an excursion to Cambodia, I could hardly explain that I would be back.... Jumping over obstacles for the minimum necessary is unpleasant.
