We stayed at this hotel in 2018. The territory is quite large, there are many bars, swimming pools, good sea (except for algae, although the staff tries to clean them)
We are currently vacationing at this hotel, in the middle of February. The beach is beautiful, algae are rarely found in the water, they clean the beach every morning. I don't know who lacks deck chairs ... wake up earlier, of course at 11-12 almost everyone will be busy. Tan from the palm trees, but everyone has enough. The rooms are good, they are cleaned every day, there is no noise insulation like in all hotels in the Dominican Republic. But this is the case everywhere, the main thing is that the neighbors are good and not like ours))) Russian Russians don't understand Russian the most annoying thing is when you ask at two o'clock in the morning not to drag chairs on the tile floor. But this is only a human factor. The main restaurant is good, open from 07:00 for breakfast, until 22:00 for dinner. There are 4-5 more restaurants, the most delicious Steakhouse. The kitchen in the main cafe is not bad, there is a lot of food, fruits always, ice cream. There are no mountains of seafood, because in the Dominican Republic it is believed that the poor eat fish, they love meat. The meat is different. Two main pools, with a bar. The cocktails are good, the alcohol is too. I would love to come back here.
We stayed at this hotel in November-December 2021.Compared to other hotels in the same Turkey or Thailand, this one will be remembered for a long time.And not with high-quality service, diverse cuisine, polite staff, but with completely opposite characteristics.
So, it all started on the very first day of our arrival.We booked a Double deluxe room with an extra bed, but when we received the keys at the reception, we suddenly found out that they were settling us in the Standart.Yes, it is practiced, which is not news, however, my family personally encountered this for the first time.Tired after a 12-hour flight, a 2-hour wait on the bus at the airport to get to the hotel, we had to deal with the staff at the reception, practically begging for the room we paid for.And finally, completely exhausted, we finally settled into the right room, in which the furniture is kept on its last legs, the safe works every other time, the bed linen smells of God knows what, and does not change at all, the towels also have an unpleasant smell.There are no blankets at all, considering that it was quite cold at night.
Cleaning is a separate topic of conversation...We had to ask for something to be changed, put soap, toilet paper, wait, walking around the territory, until they deigned to clean the room (then in the morning when people return from breakfast, then in the evening when they need to prepare for dinner).In short, the rooms are not cleaned at all.
Beach towels are stained in a variety of colors.No matter how much you change, they will still give you dirty ones.
The deck chairs are dirty, as is the pool area next to the villas where the Deluxe rooms are.
The fire alarm went off several times at night.No one has said what the reason was.
As for the food, everything in this hotel is quite scarce.You won't see any variety here.Sweet is not sweet at all, there are few fruits.If you do not drink alcohol, then there will be difficulties with juices, tea and coffee (asking for tea for dinner is a shock for the waiters, who leave for 20-30 minutes in search of boiling water and a tea bag).
The staff is quite indifferent to the guests.Several times we came across the fact that in the bar you will be served not in the order of your turn, giving preference to those who order alcohol, and after that, with a dissatisfied look.The waiters in the restaurant may not approach for a long time, defiantly passing by.Frankly speaking, comparing with other hotels, this is the first time we have met such an attitude.
In short, our vacation was ruined from the very beginning.
Summing up all the above, we can conclude that this hotel pulls in a C, and not a five, which they position themselves.If you do not want to waste your nerves, get disappointed, and figure it out, you should not stop your choice at this place.We're definitely not coming here anymore.

In general, a good kitchen, a variety of dishes, all kinds of meat / fish / seafood, desserts, wonderful pastries. But:
soups in the vast majority of cases were heavily salted, among cherry tomatoes there were often spoiled ones. Large tomatoes are tough and tasteless, like our greenhouses, but this is (as the guide said) national.
Drinks: Good wines, spirits and soft drinks and cocktails. Great coffee.
But:
All cocktails with alcohol are greatly spoiled by adding ice and passing the cocktail through a blender! You can only drink with ice, but there are no tubes. The same goes for breakfast juices, all mixed with ice, i.e. diluted. Last year we visited RIU Lupita in Mexico, there is something to compare it with.
The empty bottle of rum in the car wash was replaced only 1 time in 10 days, and then after numerous requests to the reception.
The food is delicious, white sand, lots of palm trees.

In this hotel, the ice machine is located within walking distance from the house. Hair dryer.
There are two pools for adults and a separate children's area and there is also a pool for adults. Animation 👍 activities are scheduled for the whole day fit - only in this group 6 or more per day - aerobics , yoga , aqua aerobics , incendiary dancing - an excellent venue for holding with a view of the beach 🏝.

I was lucky for a couple of days, the hotel was cool: good food, music, drinks. Then everything started to close because of the crown (unfortunately, we got to such a time) and most of the staff stupidly served time (there was no music anymore). The food was delicious, but there was already little choice.
A huge minus is that $200 was stolen from the wallet from the closed safe in the room (not all the money, they left a couple of small bills, hoping that we would not notice). At the reception, we were told that it was the spouse who took the money and told them about it (in other words, they sent it), the tour operator's guide scored on our problem and disappeared.
Let's go celebrate the New Year 2022. We are still here and we have already suffered terribly today ! The service is terrible, Spanish-speaking tourists are a priority. The rooms are old and their cleaning is disgusting! The waiters in the restaurant ignore, first of all approaching "their own". With a temperature of 38.5 and a small child, I could not even get help through a tour operator! I will write about the Anex tour service in this country separately, it feels like Anex tour does not know how to do business and negotiate with a local hotel at all, they also come to the rescue for a very long time. After waiting all day, I was so unsuccessful to get the medicines shown by the doctor, etc. I myself fell ill and could not bring the child to dinner, communicating through an Anex tour and by phone from the room, they took an order several times, left the little child without food. Prices for everything, including medicines and excursions, are terribly inflated, ripping off both local and Anex tours. As a result, no one needs you here! All the photos listed on Yandex are fake, there are old bamboo wallpapers everywhere in the rooms. Conclusion, do not trust travel agencies, much less tour operators! For myself, I concluded that the hotel needs to be scolded by myself, as well as buying plane tickets. Let it come out more expensive, but then you will get a quality vacation many times over. I will keep silent about the La Romana charter flight, which lasted at 12 o'clock and with only one lunch. Because they are lying again, they say they are fed twice, and as a result, the second time it is tea with a small "Ladybug" Waffle. Guys, draw conclusions and do not look only at good reviews, people will not write bad things just like that. And my vacation with a small child is definitely ruined:(

It is heard everywhere. The kitchen is incomparable! The choice is worthy for all tastes: 5-6 fresh options, an assortment of fruits from 6-7 seasonal options, greens, vegetables, fish, poultry, meat, seafood. The waiters will bring coffee in the morning, you can have a drink and tea. Coffee machines are open all day, and in the Sports Bar 24 hours a day you can take coffee, tea, juices, ice cream, pastries, snacks and diced assorted fruits. In addition to the main restaurant, there are several other restaurants that are free of charge.
At the reception you may be offered to pay an additional $ 30 for a more comfortable room, do not be lazy, ask to see this room and you will make sure that there is nothing to pay for.
The rooms of the villas have a free bar with water, soda and rum. We had 3 versions of rum, some had 4. But rum flows like a river in bars and restaurants. Nearby there are machines making ice around the clock.
Room cleaning is standard. They try when they see $. But, the stated change of linen 1 time in 3 days was not observed. Only 2 times in 2 weeks we changed the sheets and 1 time the pillowcases. Maybe they saw clean linen - we are not pigs))) . Towels were changed when we left them downstairs, under the sink - it was inconvenient to throw them on the floor, as suggested.
Of the detergents, there were only soap in pieces and liquid in the shower - there are no bottles with shampoo, But the overall impression is wonderful. Yes, we were scared of mosquitoes - they are not there, they are watching this.

After checking in, you get access to the entire RIU hotel complex, there is a water park on its territory, and duty free, and much more, a bunch of restaurants for every taste, all inclusive, the staff is excellent, no incidents have arisen, I highly recommend it!!! Cigarettes go to buy for the territory, inside the complex are very expensive, do not be afraid to leave the hotel in the Dominican Republic, the main thing is not to show your luxury goods)
