Ribat Monastir is a historical fortress located in the city of Monastir, Tunisia. It was built in the 9th century and served as both a military fortification and a place for spiritual practice. A perfectly preserved landmark. It is not expensive, at the entrance they are interested in which country they are from and give out a guidebook in their native language. The bathrooms are clean.
