Overall, the hotel is good and the service is excellent.
A small modern 4-star hotel with a rooftop pool. Stunning views are guaranteed.
The rooms are large, but the furniture is very worn out, the bed linen and towels are mostly old and stained. But the regularity and quality of cleaning compensated for the inconvenience.
The hotel does not have its own beach and territory, there is someone's house on the first line near the beach, and if you take a room below the 2nd floor, then there will be a wall a meter from the windows and no view of the ocean. Music could be heard from the roof, but it didn't play after 11 p.m. Only on New Year's Eve it was noisy. I didn't bother with the rest of the days.
The restaurant is on the 5th floor with magnificent panoramic windows. The diet is very monotonous, with almost no changes in 11 days. But in general, we had enough. There was almost no fish or meat at breakfast.
It's strange that the hotel has 3 stars everywhere.
The biggest disappointment was the dirty beach and ocean, without sun beds and showers on the beach. Not only was the water murky, but there was trash everywhere. Several sellers with Chinese bracelets approached in the early days, then they found out.
There are many cafes and shops within walking distance.
Negombo was not impressed at all. It is very dirty and sparsely populated in terms of tourists. We had a vacation in January 2025, celebrating the new year.
We went to Hikkaduwa, it's much cleaner and full of life!
We're not going to Negombo anymore.
Very good location, on the first line by the ocean, close to Colombo airport. Overall, the room was nice and clean (I read about cockroaches, but I didn't see them) The staff is friendly! The view from the restaurant is very beautiful! Outdoor pool, parties are held in the evenings!
A 20-minute drive from the airport, a beautiful view from the room, from the restaurant to the ocean, the ocean is a 2-minute walk away, a rooftop pool, a decent buffet breakfast. The room is clean, there is a safe, the furniture is modern, the plumbing is not killed, there is a gel shampoo body lotion in the bathroom. The only thing was that there were not enough disposable slippers (slippers, as I understand it, are not accepted in Sri Lankan hotels)
