I definitely recommend you to visit. You can walk for no more than 2 hours. Lots of atmospheric cafes. For the famous location with colorful umbrellas, you will have to pay for admission. Beware of dilution in the small streets. A dude walks in front of you and drops a shoe polish brush. Then, as a friend, he offers to clean your shoes. Then he starts begging for money. The average price is 300 liras. Then it turns out that it's only for one shoe.
Fatih in Istanbul is a place with a real historical soul. Here you are surrounded by the majestic Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and also this magnificent Topkapi Palace. The infrastructure here is also on the level: good hotels and restaurants for every taste. But be prepared for the fact that there are a lot of people here in the season itself - you can get confused in the crowd. In general, if you want to feel the spirit of ancient Istanbul, Fatih is definitely worth a visit.
It's a very interesting place. Beautiful and unusual for Istanbul. I recommend. Nearby is the Bosphorus embankment, a lot of coffee shops and all kinds of food outlets...
