In the autumn-winter and spring periods, the cost of a 2-bed wooden house as well as a 3-bed room at the time of May 2024 is 2000 Russian rubles per room per day. In my opinion, a 3-bed room is more preferable due to the presence of underfloor heating. There is no such option in 2 wooden houses. But it's a matter of everyone's taste. All appliances in the rooms and in the kitchen are in good working order. The hot spring is just around the corner, on foot, at a leisurely pace of 10 minutes. Someone gets there faster. 5 3-bed rooms have underfloor heating (including in the bathroom), air conditioning, private bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower), each room has a mini fridge, one double bed and 1 single bed. 3 bedside tables, a hanger, a full-length mirror, a TV with Yandex and Kinopoisk. In 2 local houses everything is the same except for underfloor heating and 1 double bed. The kitchen is a detached building in the courtyard, equipped with two large refrigerators, a table-top gas stove with 3 burners, a single-burner electric stove, a microwave oven, two electric kettles and various utensils and cutlery for cooking and eating. In the courtyard there are 2 zones - verandas with rain canopies, illuminated in the evening and tables and plastic chairs, benches for eating and gatherings with friends outdoors. There is also a shared toilet in the courtyard, which is an advantage when sitting outdoors, because you do not need to return to your room. The yard is clean everywhere, sprinkled with small rubble, constantly cleaned. There are parking spaces (including under a canopy) for guests' cars. Lemon, tangerine and feijoa trees grow in the courtyard. The smell of lemon blossoms at the end of May is something!!! Dogs are missing. There is only a cat, but he is unobtrusive, mostly sleeps on one of the porches of the guest rooms (those of the guests who feed him)… There are two grocery stores in the village, which you need to walk about 15-20 minutes towards the sanatorium "Eucalyptus Grove". One of them with the name "Grandfather's" on the left side of the road in the direction of movement is quite small, with an appropriate assortment. The second one is a little further away, on the right hand of the road after the sanatorium - popularly called "Glass" - is a larger one with a decent (for the village) and a more familiar assortment of Russian manufacturers for residents of the city. There are almost all groups of food products (bread, pasta and cereals, cereals (including in bags for fast cooking), milk, frozen, fruits and vegetables, meat and sausages, canned food, groceries, juices and waters, alcoholic beverages, including imported ones. Local products such as smoked cheeses and meat, fish, pickled vegetables, juices and alcohol are also available for sale. Prices in both stores are higher than, for example, in large cities such as Sukhum, Gagra, Athos and others. Also, I would like to note the disadvantages of the lack of the possibility of paying with bank cards, only cash and transfer to the Tinkoff bank card. At the same time, you must have your own Internet, there is no Wi-Fi network in the store that you could connect to as a last resort, as it is implemented, for example, at the checkout at a hot spring. There is a cafe not far from the store, but I won't say about it, because I haven't been. I'm just stating the fact of its existence. There is a taxi stand in the village near the spring. In the village, the cost of one-way transportation is 100 rubles. To get to the highway is also 100 rubles. From the source to Sukhum (to the market) at odd hours 9,00 - 11.00 - 13.00 - 15.00 - 17.00 A minibus departs daily. The cost per person is 200 rubles. Back from the market - the stop is located on the opposite side of the road from the stop of trolleybuses 1 and 3, a minibus also departs daily to the hot spring (as indicated on the sign - KYNDYG - Hot spring) only at even hours 8.00 - 10.00 - 12.00 - 14.00 - 16.00. In summer, the route is added at 18.00 to Kvndig and at 19.00 back to Sukhum. You can take a taxi from the springs to Sukhum and to them. The average cost is 1,500 rubles per car. You can also take a taxi for 100-150 rubles to the second source (there are fewer tourists there and there is a paid round-the-clock parking campsite (1000 rubles / day per car). There is no taxi there. To go back to Kyndyg, you need to arrange with the taxi driver or wait (as a rule, this is 1, maximum 2 hours). Or if you want to stay there longer, arrange a time when he will return for you with payment of a double (or triple) round-trip fare (200-300 rubles). Or go out on the highway and wait for any passing minibus and get to the fork in the road for 50 rubles per person. Further from the fork to the village, it takes 15-20 minutes on foot. Summing up all of the above, I want to note that the idea to stop for a vacation in the village of Kvndig, directly near the hot spring (especially in the cold season, when you don't swim in the sea, is not so bad).
