Being in Almaty for work, we visited this place on the recommendation of local colleagues. Plus good reviews in Y. All recommendations were justified! Everything is delicious, very satisfying, cozy, there are free places although it was Friday and there are problems with places everywhere in the city. The establishment stands alone, in a quiet place, its own cozy territory. The menu is excellent for those who love both Kazakh and European cuisine. Competent decor and national flavor. The only thing is, it seems like already at 23:00 or even earlier they begin to persuade you to make the last order) And it 's only Friday night ... working hours before 1:00 on at least Friday would be justified.

We stayed in Almaty, December 2024. We visited about 7 restaurants, this one seemed to be one of the most pleasant. National cuisine, a very interesting planting in summer: a shady garden with gazebos, of course we were inside. But I especially want to mention the service, namely the waiter named Zhenis, his work and attention to visitors are beyond praise. I think most of the opinion about the institution is formed by the staff, it's just five points! If I come back to Almaty, I will definitely look here!

A great place with local cuisine. Good service. Attentive staff. The table was booked in advance, and there was a fairly tight fit in the evening. We were in the spring, it's still cool, in the summer, I think it's cool on the veranda. We didn't get into the local food, but it's worth a visit, it's very colorful.

A great place with national cuisine! Baursaki, mumpar, cheshura, beshbarmak, Tashkent tea - 12 horses out of 10! There is a private parking. We sat down easily on Sunday afternoon and in the evening on a weekday. The service is fast and attentive. A separate plus for the interior is a mixture of national flavor and modern solutions. A cozy evening or lunch is provided!

We used to visit this restaurant very often, all the activities related to family and relatives + friends, we stopped visiting this restaurant because our son was poisoned very much from ice cream, we somehow did not sin and think that it could be because of ice cream.
I turned out to be the next one, I was also poisoned and couldn't leave for about two days. The third person was my friend, a foreigner from Turkey, and I was there again .
The next day, my wife wanted to explain what happened to my friend and me, to which the administration began to come up with all sorts of reasons that it could happen in other places of eating, including at home. In short, I did not receive an apology from the spouse's administration, they only offered to make a discount next time, and that's it!
This Kaymak restaurant is now bypassed.
I personally will not recommend this restaurant to anyone, if anyone is interested, I will tell them how it is.

Beshbarmak is great! Kaymak is real, fat, pushy. Everything is delicious.
The service is very leisurely... I was sitting on the veranda, waiting for a very long time (15 minutes) for at least one of the waiters to pass by to ask for the bill. At the same time, the restaurant was almost empty.
The battery in the phone died, the waiters could not (rather did not want to) come up with anything, referring to the fact that no one has type-c charging. They seem to earn very well that they all have iPhones))))

An amazing place!
If you want to combine dinner with traditional Kazakh dishes and wonderful (as it turned out) Kazakh wine, then you should go to Qaimaq. The waiters are superbly oriented in the menu and talk SO DELICIOUSLY about the dishes that you need to show a fair amount of willpower not to order the whole menu at once!
A very comfortable atmosphere, music complements, but does not disrupt a calm conversation.
I will return to Almaty, I will definitely go to Qaimag.

A wonderful restaurant with a large territory and tents on the street and a cozy atmosphere in the main building. The waiters are very caring and explain the items from the menu in detail. We took lamb kebab, lamb fillet, super delicious manti, horsemeat salad and grilled vegetables. Also kimchi and flatbread. Everything was very tasty. The prices are not expensive. Excellent restaurant of national Kazakh cuisine. We came here with work colleagues during a business trip . We wanted to try local dishes. The waiter served us very well, told us everything and gave recommendations. Kitchen... Well , yes , there is a raisin . Not whoooo. But you can appreciate it. Of course, the prices are not the most affordable, we paid 50 t tenge for three of them. At the same time, we did not order an exclusive.
