Probably the best zoo in Europe, a huge territory, many different animals and birds. I advise you to take the cable car down, there is a beautiful view of the city. You can enter the enclosures for kangaroos and pelicans. It is interesting to observe mountain goats living on an almost sheer cliff. We walked for 6 hours, we didn't have time to go around everything. I highly recommend coming in the morning.

The only zoo I'm ready to return to. Animals LIVE here, but they don't exist. Giraffes can be fed (not independently, but with staff, by appointment and with a separate fee). I was here almost 5 years ago, I hope to come back one day.

One of the best zoos in the world. There are a lot of animals, there is a schedule for feeding them and stories about pets. You can spend the whole day at the zoo - there are many animals, interesting educational places and places to relax and have a snack. Going there with the kids is just wonderful. Super! Animals and birds from all continents, except for everyone's favorite pandas (they are the property of China and there are export restrictions on them). Moreover, the animals are located not in the same way as in the Moscow or St. Petersburg zoos, but in much more comfortable conditions.
It is best to visit in the warmer months, because many species of animals are thermophilic and are transferred to aviaries for the winter.
And remember: it will take you a whole day to visit! Therefore, do not plan anything more for this day.

Absolutely great!
I saw all the animals, none of them were hiding, even the Tasmanian marsupial devil, a very funny animal.

The most interesting thing is that the park has tried to bring nature and visitors as close as possible, hiding or reducing barriers between visitors and nature to a minimum. Crocodiles and turtles at a distance of 20 cm, cheetahs without a visible fence at 15 meters, elephants, the Ussuri tiger... in general, it's super.

We visited the Prague Zoo with our family in September 2018. The zoo looks very decent: good conditions for animals (spacious aviaries, a relatively large area for walking, besides the zoo is located away from the noisy areas of Prague), the climate is quite mild (there are no harsh winters with high negative temperatures, summer lasts even longer than in Central Russia), many species of animals.

The most beautiful zoo. All zoo residents are placed in the most comfortable conditions for them. The enclosures are spacious - one might say huge. Giraffes, for example, live in an area the size of several football fields. The polar bear has an ice generator, so the waterfall is more icy than water))

The only disadvantage is the hilly terrain, it is very high to climb and descend, it is very difficult for people of age to move and for children. Otherwise, it's a great zoo. We visited the zoo in September 2018. Our excursion program was very busy, but we were allocated a whole day to visit the zoo. And although it was drizzling that day, there were plenty of impressions and joy from what was taken away! We got there by tram, discounted tickets for pensioners. The territory is very large and well maintained, a magnificent view of the city. The animals are beautiful, well-groomed, and it's nice to watch them. We also had lunch and rested there.
