We went for a walk here in the evening. Very pleasant. It was winter, and everything was decorated, with lanterns and statues everywhere. The fountain with lights and music also added a pleasant mood!

The idea is not original, but it is well implemented. Soho Square is visited by all tourists from nearby hotels. And there's nowhere else to go within walking distance.
