They are stopped for non-existent violations and offered to "resolve the issue on the spot." They ruined the day and discouraged all desire to return to Abkhazia and bring their money there as a tourist. Judging by the reviews, the situation is repeated, and there is no way around this post.

The post has been operating since May 1, 2025, it cannot be bypassed in any way, both local and vacationers are being monitored. They may be charged for non-existent violations, so be vigilant. Advice to vacationers: study the rules of the road and carefully look at the signs. In front of the post, if you drive from the Psou, there is a radar that transmits data immediately to the dispatcher's post, if you violate the permissible speed limit from the sign of 9 km/ h. I will also leave here the helpline of the traffic police of the Republic of Abkhazia, if you have an illegal situation with the staff at the post: +79407073344, there is a whatsapp, which is convenient for guests.
We rested from 1.09.22.to 09/13/2012 The place is quiet, the beach is wild, only local people rest. However, a grocery store and a cafe are in one place, so if you need to rest there, you need to go to Gagra for groceries!and so everything is beautiful - the sea, the air, nature!!

There used to be a post here. It was used to collect tribute for tangerines. Everyone remembers that. Now the rules for exporting to Russia have changed and the post is no longer needed. At the posts next, you will be charged for insurance and other violations. Take the cash.

I did not like it , we drove half of Abkhazia, only there it turned out that insurance was needed, as a result, 1000 rubles for 5 hours, after we did not go because of the rains, now there is nothing to do there
A bestial post where they are ready to get to the bottom of anything (from allegedly dirty rooms and satiation of speed to an almost imperceptible stop line) and completely kill the desire to go back to Abkhazia. And it's disgusting to watch when "their own" are running around right there, despising all traffic rules
