Naturally, according to the expert, I was 99% drunk and all that remained was to fix it with the device. As we walked to the office, I was told in detail about my unenviable fate, about the confiscation of my car, driver's license, huge fines and the shameful deportation to my homeland. Taking out the coveted device that "will accurately show alcohol even after a month")) the valiant employee tried in every possible way to get me to "make an agreement on the spot." I didn't give up. We will blow.
It gets even more interesting.
The device issued a "check" with the result and the valiant employee, looking into my eyes, issued a verdict of 0.14 ppm, which is 0.14 more than is permissible in Abkhazia according to him)). This is a fiasco.
I ask my friend to show me a piece of paper with the results and where exactly the milesare indicated. He reluctantly gives me this wrapper, which contains the date, time, serial number of the device and the operation number.
The operation number (number of tests) is 00146. Then he tried to force on me for another 10 minutes that 00146 is 0.14 ppm. In the end, he had to let me go, but he did it as if he had nobly spared and forgiven me.
Hotels are built in vain with this approach.
I was here on May 5th with a problem (hernia on a wheel). We helped (guided) with the search for spare parts. They told me where to get it and how to get to the place. Faced with a human attitude from the authorities. Very unexpected and pleasant. Thanks to the staff from the grateful driver!
When crossing the border of Abkhazia, insurance was provided at the first kiosk. An employee of the insurance company, without the consent of the policyholder, took a photo on his smartphone and at the same time sent mailings to all traffic police officers working at the posts. When moving around Abkhazia, I was stopped at every post and forced to pay on the spot instead of an official fine (without registration of the protocol)the amount that they announced. Keep in mind that cars with Russian license plates are often stopped here and may present violations of: driving speed and, or safety belt and, or insurance and, or first aid kit and so on. For all this and much more, the rights are withdrawn at once! Therefore, fellow drivers, be vigilant!

I realized that Abkhazia, namely the traffic police officers, are solid bribe takers!

To which I was very surprised! Because I was driving very slowly because I'm a tourist and I'm interested in everything, plus I was driving on the navigator and watching the signs and the road very carefully. I demanded proof. They said they would show it and everything would be shown! To which I said that it would be interesting to see since I have a registrar! After that, he changed his rhetoric, gave up his rights and let go.
I rode my car around Abkhazia, I was never stopped for 600 km. They seemed to be looking into the void. Apparently they are not interested in old gazelles at all. I only did insurance in vain.
This is the second time in Abkhazia and the second time I have encountered such lawlessness of the traffic police and where the authorities of this country are looking!!!
