As a passenger port, it is completely unsuitable. I don't know if liners other than Astoria are moored in this port, but at the time of our call, a tanker with gasoline was draining on the opposite wall of the common pier.
The smell in the cabins was still there when we docked and remained for some time after we left. The port has a well-developed infrastructure for transshipment of petroleum products, despite the fact that there is no passenger service in principle.
It's a strange decision to arrange a cruise ship entry into such a port. Apart from the fact that this is a sign of disrespect, it is also a so-so story from the point of view of security.
