I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff of the restaurant for their hospitality and atmosphere. The baked lamb ribs we ordered were above all praise: the portion was huge, the meat was delicious, the rice was a pleasant side dish to the meat.
Our stomach couldn't hold the assorted pita anymore, so we took her home.
I highly recommend this cafe to all guests and residents of Sukhum!

When we rested in June-August, we visited a couple of times. The location of the restaurant is very interesting, in the port. The general atmosphere is pleasant, beautiful view from the windows. The first time the service was very good. The waitress girl got attentive. We prepared everything quickly. Pretty tasty. I really liked the pide with cheese. Insanely beautiful, though simple. Beer was taken from drinks, it is local, the same in all cafes, good. The coffee wasn't bad either. They took it for dessert. The child was ordered a milkshake, but it was not very to his taste. The second time I liked the chicken steak, it was well made, not over-dried. Everything else is fine too. The waitress, of course, went about her business for a long time, not noticing us when we wanted to pay and leave. A little unpleasant. We wanted to turn to another girl so that she would call our waitress, but she also ignored, passed by. In Abkhazia, there are often problems with service, of course. Overall, a pretty good place. Everyone in the company liked the food.

Not long ago I attended an event in Sukhumi, and the question arose where to eat delicious food, someone from the guys recommended a Turkish restaurant. When I saw him, the restaurant itself was built in the water in the form of a ship, as if floating above the water. There were 19 of us, and all of us were very hungry. The Turkish cuisine is excellent , the portions are huge and the prices are acceptable. I ordered trout on the grill + lentil soup + baklava with ice cream and of course Turkish coffee = 1560 rubles.the service is great, we were served by the waiter Gulnara, I can make a mistake in the name. I served 19 people so quickly , sometimes you wait 30-40 minutes for 2 people..Thank you Gulnara. I think the owners of the restaurant noticed the girl's efforts at work and encourage such conscientious workers.
I definitely recommend it .The impressions are very good. I think this is not my last visit to this wonderful place

One of the advantages is the location, you can admire the sea from the open veranda, fast delivery and attentive waiter. The food was very disappointing. We ordered lamb ribs and eggplant kebab. The ribs were overcooked, in places to embers. The kebab is very dry. The composition of the dish also includes grilled vegetables on the menu (this is half a tomato and one hot pepper). It is served with pilaf (this is unleavened rice with noodles) and a large pita bread. Two more sauces - hot red and white - the sauces are delicious, but unfortunately they do not correct the taste of the main dishes

Thirdly, the request to move to another table was refused, although there were 4-5 free, not reserved tables. In general, I think the administrator is the face of the institution. And such an attitude towards guests is unacceptable. The score is 0/5.

A great place with a nice view and courteous waiters!
The kitchen is very tasty and satisfying, I took lamb in a frying pan, it comes with bell pepper, you can choose to sprinkle with cheese. I also took a Mountain salad.

We visited this Turkish restaurant today. Not only is the kitchen here gorgeous, but the place is awesome! You sit and eat on the pier in the sea) We were walking in the afternoon and noticed this place to come in for dinner in the evening. We especially love dinners when everything is glowing everywhere, and the shoals that are visible during the day are not noticeable) In this restaurant it is pleasant to be both inside and outside. We wanted to eat in the sea, it was on the street and the choice definitely fell on this place. Although this is a Turkish restaurant, but there are awesome fish and awesome meat here. The portions here are right noble! In the amount of 3,300 rubles. for two adults and a child, we took half with us. The waiters are so polite that it was already wild (nice)!!! Thank you very much!

But.
We went with expectations, firstly, as from the restaurant, secondly, as from the declared Turkish cuisine.
As a result , it was only mind - blowing ... Lavash! That's really good. And the sauce is also fermented milk with herbs.
The rest of the food is just plain (in the restaurant!!), the chicken is slightly over-dried, the kebab is just bland, no side dish for three. There were no freshly squeezed juices.
Yes, the three is only because we fell victim to high expectations, otherwise, there is a solid four, yes. But, kamon, guys, this is a restaurant (!) Turkish (!) Kitchens! It is necessary to keep the brand! Disappointed.
And the staff is on top, well done here.

We visited Chegem cafe in Sukhumi district twice and were very satisfied. We were not in the port, but to the left in the building from it. The cuisine here is really delicious, and the portions are very large. We ordered several dishes, it's not worth taking trout.
Take into account the fact that the dishes are very large and you should not take several for one person, for some reason the waiters do not warn about this!
It is best to visit this cafe during the daytime, as it may take some time to serve dishes in the evening, and some dishes may run out. The waiters were friendly during the day and not as tired as in the evening. If the quality of service is important to you, I do not advise you to go in the evening.
In general, we were very pleased with our visit to the Chegem cafe and recommend it to anyone who wants to try delicious food in the Sukhumi district.

A Turkish restaurant in one of the buildings of the Sukhumi port (in the other half, in my opinion, customs premises, entrance by pass). I really liked it! A large room both inside and outside. There are a lot of waiters, so it's not long to wait for service. Menu with pictures. The portions are large! We immediately remembered our trips to Turkey, especially Cappadocia... There is a separate small room, where a large company with children had lunch. I finally tried pistachio coffee and Turkish goat's milk ice cream (serving for four, delicious). Meat kebabs and fish are good portions with pita bread, rice, grilled vegetables. Mountain salad - with an increased portion of walnuts. Yes, there is also excellent Turkish tea, which is traditionally served in a "mess" cup

It was just terrible.
On 24.08 we decided to celebrate my wife's birthday. This was the first mistake and a fatal one.
We asked the hotel to book us a table on the podium at the far side from the entrance. The hotel booked, informed that everything is fine. They also warned us that we have a birthday girl. We were hoping for a good rest and a holiday. In vain.
Upon arrival at the restaurant, we realized that we had forgotten about our reservation. Both tables were occupied, and the fuss of the receptionist and the waiter spoke for itself. As a result, we were offered to choose any table. Of course, thank you for not being kicked out, but we could not book "any" table. As a result, we were put in a cubicle behind the bar. Thanks for that, too.
But, the table was cleaned up and there was a pile of garbage on the floor, lavash napkins and everything else that fell off the table.
We eventually decided to stay, even though it already smelled fried.
The menu has been changed compared to last year, it has become poorer, like in some kind of eatery. So it is also with assortment errors. We tried to order champagne from the menu, but the waiter assured us that we were fools and there was no such thing. Order the food. They did not wait long, do not lie, for 20 minutes, they brought portions much smaller than before, worse in quality and appearance. I ordered probably the most expensive dish for 1500 rubles, which ended up being several pieces of beef fried in a frying pan and served with a pile of cold rice and pita bread. The dish does not match the cost. Our friends ordered other dishes that were either not chewed or without the main ingredient at all. Pide could have ruined that.
As a result, completely disappointed in the evening, we decided to leave, it was useless to wait for congratulations from the restaurant, they also forgot about the fact that we had a birthday celebration, reminding them that they refused to congratulate "it is not accepted" as they put it.
The most infuriating moment was the payment. When the waiter deigned to come up, we asked for the bill, we were told that payment was either in cash or by transfer, the center of the capital of Abkhazia, one of the main restaurants of the city and there was no terminal, shame. So the most important thing is that their Wi-Fi didn't work either. That is, only in cash, did someone warn you about this? Of course not.
As a result, until they demanded an administrator, the situation was not resolved, we were given access to internal Wi-Fi.
The result: a spoiled mood, no pleasure from eating, -8500 for an hour of arrival, of which 1000 for service which was not. Thanks to Chegem port, you ruined the mood for the next 2 days and overshadowed the last days of your vacation.
Don't go there until the leadership changes, it's just terrible. We remembered the visit last year with warmth, and this year with disgust.

Unexpectedly, in the center of the embankment they feed so decently, the portions are large, so two adults had enough to eat two pans with meat, rice was not even touched, which they bring a lot to each hot dish, they do not regret lavash. Got a good waiter, told about each dish and its composition, sharpness - helped to make a choice. Some even had to take with them because they really ate, delicious "factory" compotes, cheaper than in the store even turns out. A good restaurant, I definitely recommend, we sat in the outdoor hall, overlooking the port, the ship, and the sea.

Anyone who tries Turkish cuisine for the first time should be warned about this, but the waitress did not consider it necessary, although she saw a child with us. There are no air conditioners! Only one window opens and that's when it gets dark. The hood can't cope, everything is fried, steamed, you're sitting in smoke and stuffiness! We were sitting at a table by the window, the men next to us.. Probably local. We heard that they asked them about the window, but they were told that it would not open. After that, the waitress came up to us and said that the table was booked for 21:00! And it was 20:55 on the clock. That is, for the sake of men, to put it mildly, we were offered to get out! This is of course an outrage. I do not recommend it.
