Few people know about them. They were built more than 150 years ago. In the 1860s, glaciers appeared near the palace kitchen. Food was once stored here. There are 2 such glaciers in the palace dungeon — one is bigger and the other is smaller. Famous Gomel craftsmen were engaged in the construction of these cellars at that time. So, the glaciers were created by the stonemason Krasnitsky, the carpenter Cheryukhin and the blacksmith Gentel. It is currently under reconstruction.
