This is the best public beach in Dubai, where you can swim till the sunset. The sea is clean and mostly calm, comparing with other beaches. Many lifeguards, every 100 meters. Free toilets and free public showers are available. More private showers, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for additional fee. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Two parkings are available: free at the surface (although it’s almost full all the time) and underground for additional fee. If you are OK with walking, you can park on the free city parking in the neighbourhood and walk for about 15 mins to the beach.

It's a great beach, clean, but there are a lot of people because it's very small. The beach area is simply beautifully equipped, there are a lot of beautiful places where you can just take wonderful pictures and take a bunch of cool photos.
You can take a bath, and then take a free shower with fresh water and change your clothes. To get either by taxi directly to the beach, or by car, parking is free 500-600 meters from the beach before reaching it.

Rove la mer beach. Super beach! It is very comfortable and beautiful. There is a cafe almost on the beach. Security is at a high level, security guards are patrolling all the time. You can safely leave your personal valuables and go swimming. My wallet and phone were lying on the table in the cafe for more than an hour, no one even approached them. I've been to four beaches in Dubai, and honestly, I liked this one and Port la Mer. Soft sand. On Palmbich, the beach is concrete, it feels like it's lightly dusted with sand, but here it's really a sandy beach. We explored the entire La Mer space, a very atmospheric place! By the way, the toilets and the shower are very clean, cleaned all day. Security is in constant motion, and rescuers have been working like clockwork since 8 a.m., especially for parents with young children!

The beach is good and worth coming to it on purpose:

The beach consists of two "half-steps". The one on the map to the left is private beaches with restaurants and hotels, you can't go there freely, and in general, it's like there's still construction going on on the beach, there are no swimmers in sight.
The part to the right of the cape - there is a free public beach, closes at exactly 7, and strict guards drive not just out of the water, but also from the sand in general.
The water is clean enough, the sand is pleasant. There are no changing rooms and showers (they are built, but closed). Of the cafes and shops, 1-2 are open at most.
In general, if you just go for a swim, then the beach is normal. But how is the hangout place (yet?) not very.

It's been a year since it was actually destroyed, and except for the beach area, everything is in complete disrepair. All the cafes and shops are closed on the boardwalk, and the remaining locker rooms are miraculously in tatters. One toilet stall for the entire beach.
And we were there in 2019 and it was wonderful.
