The central beach of Kuta is more suitable for walking along the ocean, relaxing on sun loungers and inflatable chairs, meeting beautiful sunsets and surfing than for swimming.
It is important to consider that:
* Strong waves and constant tides on the beach 🌊
* There is a lot of trade and services offered (hairpins, bracelets, braiding).
* There is no way to wash your feet at the exit from the beach.
* Strong bike and car traffic. (But there is a patrol inspector at the main entrance to the beach, he stops traffic at the sight of tourists)
Several entrances to the beach are decorated in traditional Balinese style in the form of split gates, there is a beautiful temple and developed infrastructure nearby (cafes, restaurants, shops, exchangers, a large BeachWalk shopping center) Traditional Balinese rituals are held on the beach and you can often see fishermen - very colorful!

We were at the end of March at the end of the rainy season. Garbage periodically sailed in from the ocean, which was promptly removed. After another thunderstorm, many different driftwood and branches were dragged to the beach, and special equipment was used for cleaning. They try to keep the beach clean. The water is relatively clean. Lots of surfers. You can find a coach on the spot and try yourself in this sport. Overall, a good place for outdoor activities. And for ordinary beach holidays and swimming in the ocean is not very suitable.
The sellers didn't bother, apparently it wasn't the season. They say that all the beggars and intrusive vendors here are not local, but from neighboring islands.
There was a shower at the main entrance to the beach, where you can rinse off the sand. But some of the showers were broken, and it was difficult to find a worker. In general, if you don't know where the showers are, you won't find them.

Kuta beach is 10 minutes by taxi from Seminyak, it has a quieter coast, a great place to relax, right on the coast there is a huge shopping center that you can't get around in a day.

It's not a beach, it's a waste dump. You can't swim there. There is a garbage dump all along the sandy beach, and all this is moving with the tides to the ocean and back to the beach. There is garbage and huge logs floating in the water, and garbage in huge quantities on the sand. But if you like to relax in a landfill, then local sellers will clear a piece of a meter by meter for you and put a high chair or a chaise longue and bring drinks. If you like it that way, then you're welcome. I think this beach should be closed due to unsanitary conditions. As of December 2024.

There are plenty of touts)) Bracelets, hats, Panama hats, manicures, pedicures (fortunately, it's safe, just nails will be painted and massaged, perhaps they will sing), surfing lessons, drinks. Most importantly, buy a service or a hat, and then sit on a chaise longue under an umbrella for free all day. With proper communication skills, you can receive some of the services and a free chaise longue for free. Bargain, joke, be ready to communicate, and everything will be fine!

A great place to surf on your own and learn. By the way, John has good prices of 100k for 2 hours per person. Right next to restaurants of ocean cuisine, wonderful sunsets. A large mall for shopping. Cafes and restaurants. There is a street evening clothing fair at bargain prices. The only thing upsetting is the movement of scooters and cars that are not inferior to pedestrians.
