A huge beach. There is enough room for everyone. Lots of cafes, delicious. The main entrance has all the water activity. Mostly the locals crowd in. If you go a little further from the entrance, there are much fewer people.

We were in October 2024, the rainy season was ending during this period. Sheki has just begun to rebuild on all the beaches of GOA in anticipation of the tourist season. We went to the Boomerang Shack on Colva Beach, and among the others, Roger's shack on Benaulim Beach can be distinguished.
Clean wide beaches, the sea is warm, the bottom is mostly flat, it is necessary to walk a little to the depth in places. There were waves, they put up a red flag, but people swam in moderate waves.
There are jellyfish, both in the sea and washed up on the beach, at night there are many along the coast.
We did not limit ourselves to Colva beach, took a bike, visited other distant beaches, so we liked our vacation in GOA!

The most pleasant place: the ocean, the beach, the fish - there is everything! For those who would like to sing, please karaoke in Kolva. There is a cafe with live music nearby. And there are also many different shops with beach clothes, Ayurveda, shops with alcohol, jewelry.
And the smiles of the locals are everywhere!

We were on the beach for the first time on February 24, 2023. We drove from Betalbatim to Kolva in 20 minutes. on rented scooters. The beach met us with the sea (the warmest water and huge waves), the sun (35 degrees Celsius), white sand. Deck chairs are free if you take at least a bottle of Cola or soda for 100 rupees at the shek (cafe). It's clean and quiet, but you have to get used to harmless dogs, which, by the way, sleep peacefully under sun loungers on almost every beach. Among the activities on the beach are water skiing and air flying on a kite tied to a motorboat. I liked lunch in shek, it was delicious and satisfying, the portions were large and inexpensive. The contingent on the beach was mostly from non-poor families with children who came from all over India. I definitely liked the beach.
